I have no clue where else to post this as there is nearly zero support for most of these Blu devices. They seem to be some of the worst devices for boot looping after a factory reset. What's the first thing Blu customer service (laughable) will tell you to do in the event of boot loop? Factory reset. Absolutely ridiculous. What do they tell you if you cut straight to the point and ask for the stock firmware? Factory reset. So, my question, if it's allowed is does anyone have access to the stock firmware for this device? I know it's a long shot, at best. Thanks in advance and I apologize if this was not this appropriate place to post this.

I find myself in the same situation. I also need stock firmware for the BLU D710. Searched everywhere but can't find it. I was hoping it is the same firmware of some other model with difference only being the screensize. Like the D610 although that one was JellyBean. My last resort is to visit a retail store of a friend who sells BLU products to see if he's got a working new D710. If he does, I will suck the scatter and ROM out of it and post it.
Meanwhile, you can find a ton of support on the BLU forum at GSM

It's not the same as any other model. All you need is Minimal ADB/Fast boot installed and working with your phone and two files. Those files ARE the boot.img and system.img from the D710 original stock firmware. Seriously. It takes maybe 5 minutes. I have tested this process with several Blu phones that were boot looping. If you guys need any resources, please PM me.

2: Use the same protocol as ODIN, but 2nas is more user-friendly and easy-to-use.
3: Cloud based database to flash your android phone with correct files(ROM, etc)
4: Automatically download necessery files to flash, and check them with SHA1, it's safe for your phone.
5: Store all downloaded files in local disk, under a good directory structure, it's usefull when you have several phones.
Re: Cloud-based Android Flash Tools
So you are having people flash their phones over the internet? What if the net disconnects? I hope the service is free ....and is this service even necessary. Flashing roms sometimes ends up in problems and you have to flash again, isn't it better to just use Odin and have the roms on a pc?

alright.. how is it 'cloud'? Are you just using the word cloud as a synonym for 'internet'? There's nothing in the software that requires a 'cloud'..

ROM matching is base on the Cloud. When I add New-ROMs or New-Flash-Instructions, you needn't to download this software again

I flashed a wrong ROM, so I still can get to the download but not into recovery mode.
I download the USB driver and your software........and then ????

More details would be highly appreciated to bring my S3 back to life when I'm back home.

Unbrick failed
As mentioned before I couldn't install 2nas software on my company laptop, but in the meanwhile I borrowed one and tried the unbrick function.
Everything worked well till I started the installation after the download, so it failed straight away at the flashing of the boot.img, see attached screenshots.
Initial rom on my S3 was I9300XXLEF (Hong Kong) and I flashed Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300 Stock Firmware Collection I9300XXEMA2 after that it didn’t re-boot because of wrong ROM, if I try to get into recovery it shows the “Firmware upgrade encountered issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again” screen..

I asked polite and didn't expect that kind of profane reply w/o any substance apart personal bashing.

But, as I see, reading with understanding is beyond your abilities, instead, you are very keen to abuse someone.

Been trying to get file uploaded to megashare, but it keeps hanging up. I am at work, so, I'm gonna wait until 4-5 p.m. and restart it. Maybe a night time upload will go since everyone goes home then. I hope someone can use it. I searched high and low looking for it online, but never found it. So, I did my research about where it stores the file for a kies update and was ready for it once it downloaded. I really hope it can be useful to someone. I just can't believe this isn't already floating around anywhere on the net.
File transfer stopped at 55% last night. FTP'ing the file now. FTP supports resume so it can't fail now.
Just realized they have a 550 MB download restriction on free accounts. It looks like you can enter a passport code for free that will give you 2Gig though. Just click on download and it will prompt you to enter a code. Arg! Will try a diff service.
Used a leech site to pull it off. Thanks.
Cool. Glad it helped somone.

Many people are joining xda on daily basis. Some of them join the forum to get custom ROMs while some join in order to get some of their problem that they are facing with their phones solved.
There are dedicated threads for ROMs but what about HELP/QUESTIONS??
People generally straight away start a new thread to get their doubts solved. But this can lead to chaos in the forum.
I'm creating this thread as an alternative to *New Threads* that aim to resolve a question.
Not only this, this thread can also become a Database kind of place where people can look if their question is already solved or not...
I request all members of the BLUE STUDIO 5 sub-forum to help and answer some questions posted here if they can.
I hope you guys get the idea behind this thread...

Blu Studio 5.0 HD LTE
Hello everyone! And thank you @abhishekr700 for making this thread.
I recently bought a Blu Studio 5.0 HD LTE. Apparently there's little or no information at all about this phone. I want to upgrade it to Android 5.0 or 5.1 but I can't install the custom recovery since there ar no links at all. I tried to follow the steps on a tutorial (I can't post any links yet), but I can't find my smartphone model and the post continuosly warns you that there are problems with Qualcom chips and it is not that safe so I'm a little scared but I want the Android Lollipop really bad, i love that OS.
Would someone please help me to continue with this process? I already rooted my phone using Kingroot which I got on the play store. I'd appreciate it a lot!
Brother, you will have to wait for some members to write a formal tutorial for the process.Search the development section, the only possibility of what you want lies there.
Plz press thanks on this post for further help.

Hi, fist time using this so lets see how it goes
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S4 (I337M) and I recently flashed CyanogenMod and have regretted it ever since. It got rid of all Google apps and initially made my WiFi stop working. So after that I started searching how to return to stock. (NOTE: Returning to provider isn't an option) I found a stock 4.2 file and flashed it onto my S4 following with a factory wipe. What i'm left with is a S4 that has no sound or WiFi. Overall i would like to return to factory everything and just stay there forever. Flashing roms are just too challenging for me. Hope you can help. :crying:

Sammobile has the official firmware. Go there. You need to register but it's free. The downloads are a little show though. Try that. You'll download a zip file, use 7-zip or winrar to exec the zip. In there you'll find the .tar.md5 file. That's what you want to use in Odin.

We have root, using the method described by @avicohh, whose guide can be found here.
TWRP Recovery
Edit:
We have an updated 2.8.7.0 TWRP Recovery created by @dirtyhewr, which can be downloaded here. This is new as of 2 Feb 2016.
Exactly one month later, @dirtyhewr has released the NEW and improved TWRP 3.0 image. It can be found here.
Sprint and ATT FlashTool DLLs
@tripptofan gave us the Sprint DLL for the FlashTool, and multiple users can confirm that it works. Here is that DLL. Hyelton's Mirror of the DLL.
The ATT DLL can be found here. Thank @i2andog for that one.
Sprint TOT and ATT TOT
Thanks to @hyelton, the Sprint TOT can be downloaded here.
Thanks to @i2andog, who gave us the ATT DLL, we have a TOT as well for you ATT folks here.
ROMs and KernelsKernel: Dirty Kernel by @dirtyhewr. Flash through Flashify until further notice.
Honorable MentionsA TWRP backup of all partitions other than /data and /cache, can be found here. It is based off ZV5, and only works for Sprint. If someone would like to contribute an ATT version for future use, upload it and I'll get it in the OP. Rooted is preferred.
I also have the ZV6 FOTA update for Sprint. It can be found here.
An added bonus: A-boot image for ZV6 and also the LS885 partition lists by name and block.
Check this OP regularly for future updates.
@DaemeonZane
Thank you so much!!
Anyway to use the flashtool to unbrick the LS885??
So far, no. We need someone to locate the DLL and things for the FlashTool to work. Have you tried to use fastboot to push the recovery to the unit and using my TWRP backup to restore it? I'm not 100% on whether this unit HAS fastboot, but that could be an option.
As soon as someone is willing to dd their stock recovery we'll have a way to reflash the stock back to the device and try to cover any tracks left behind.

How can i flash the TWRP in download mode?
As far as i know LG doesn't have a fastboot mode.....
I have this device... I 100% hate it due to the fact that the stock os sux more than anything I have ever known... it has 4 cpus, so one would think it would be a little fast, but no... wish someone would compile cm for it... I lack the necessary skills, though I have tried. . there is no device tree for it...
another problem faced with this device is the locked boot loader... although I understand theoretically it can be "bumped", should a Rom become available... I'm glad someone at least is trying to get a thread going tho! this is my first LG and will definitely be my last... but until the lease runs out, I am stuck with it...

Here's a way to enable fastboot. It requires root. I realize it says G3, but it does work.

I'm a full time truck driver as well as an on the side certified technician. I won't be home for close to a month, but i synced the CM Repo and have a build environment set up. As soon as I can get back I'll get it rolling. I also have the source for stock and the straight android source. That way i can build a fully stock flashable zip.

Sent from my LGLS885 using XDA Free mobile app
I used the method for unrooting a standard LG G3 I found elsewhere to fix an issue with a LS885 that was unsuccessfully rooted, but I have reached an impasse. After the s/w download finishes and the device restarts, the screen shows the number "2" and my computer tries to reconnect and install the LGE Android drivers. The problem is it never installs the drivers to connect again and the flash fails. I'm wondering what I am doing wrong here...
@tripptofan: I saw something on that over at the regular G3. The fix may be the same. http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/problem-returning-to-stock-try-t2862463
We share a lot of similarities with other LG devices, especially the G3, but their ROMs won't work for us. Yet. In the meantime I'm trying to talk to a buddy of mine on here to see what he can do to help out with ROM development. Until we get ROMs for this unit and get everything else going, we're stuck using just a thread.

Do we still need the stock software for this model? If so I'm putting it to the drive right now.
NOTICE: IF YOU HAVE COME TO THIS THREAD BECAUSE YOU HAVE BRICKED YOUR G3 VIGOR, FOLLOW THE LINK THAT @DaemeonZane HAS PROVIDED ABOVE!
Using the steps listed above and the stock software and DLL file that should be provided in this thread soon you can restore the LS885 to it's factory settings.
Thanks, Daemeon. Those steps in the link you provided were VERY similar to what I had tried before except for one. Once I put everything in order I got this blasted thing up and running.
Glad I could help.

Everyone, the OP has been updated with the FlashTool DLL for our device. Someone needs to get a backup of the stock ROM without the bloat or root. The sooner we have that the better.
