xt907 ships with a locked bootloader.
if it was unlock, you should see a
warning bootloader is unlocked
screen, every time its rebooted.
if you power off
hold volume button down, and power on.
it should boot in to AP Fastboot mode
it will either say locked or unlocked along with other bootloader info
to exit AP Fastboot, press power button.
it will power off, then you can power on normally.

TITLE IS SUPPOSED TO READ "[Q] Electrify M 'fastboot' " NOT SAFEBOOT, OOPS
I've tried to go into fastboot mode multiple times to no avail, both from a powered on state and a powered off state.
So what actually happens when you go into fastboot mode?
All I've managed to get is a thing white line screen flash and then the phone booting as normal.
Trying to root this damn phone and in order to do that I have to apparantly unlock the bootloader?
Following THIS GUIDE (whoops cant post the link - 'motorola-global-portal.custhelp.XOM/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-b') I just cant get the phone to do anything.
I'm able to sync/see the device with fastboot and ADB from the SDK but other than that I can not get it to work.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Also when trying THIS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1940630) root method it asks to perform a similar key press and upon doing that the phone just reboots.
When following the Motorola guide all I get is this, it just sits there.
I feel like an idiot now...
This should be in a guide somewhere.
In order to load into fastboot on a Motorola Electrify M you need to
Turn off your phone
Hold BOTH volume buttons down AND the power button
Use the Vol Dwn button to select fastboot
Use Vol Up to select and launch fastboot
Use this to root Electrify M:
(after trying for hours with other tools this one instantaneously worked)

ODD, I guess the Motorla website is wrong then.
I figured the Razr M was just two buttons and for some reason they changed the Electrify.

How would it then turn on? Can you please instruct me with steps? When i take out the battery whats after that ?
Power on normally, holding the power button
Sent from my MB525 using Tapatalk
Wait,wait,wait...........
So i:
1)Take out the battery from back
2)Power on using the vol up button. How would it turn on without battery?
3)......... idk what to do
It won't turn on without the battery, so put it back, press volume up and then power button
Sent from my MB526 using Tapatalk
So i take out the battery then hold/press the vol up button, then put battery back in while holding vol up button? then hold vol up button then without releasing the vol up button i hold the power button? for how long?
Hope im not asking stupid questions
You can just search for a video guide. Although your current understanding is correct. The time to hold the volume up button is till you get to the boot loader screen ~3 seconds
Sent from my MB526 using Tapatalk
Will this load my to bootloader 9.10 but with no error? Just a simple bootloader? ~~~YES~~?
If yes then doesn't work my computer won't detect my phone even the motorola driver, anyway you can help with that?
Maybe you should be able to flash from the error screen itself! Use admin mode and latest rsdlite and drivers, as per your system
Sent from my MB526 using Tapatalk
Im sorry what is admin mode and how to enable it? and i have tried to connect it from the error screen to my computer but it wont detect my phone.
Which os do you have on the computer? If windows vista or higher, right click on rsdlite and click on run as administrator
Could you reach the BL screen? Try the instructions I gave or a video guide

3/ on your phone : hold volume up then powering up
4/ when your phone is in the bootloader, connect it on your computer
5/ rsdlite should recognize your phone after few seconds
6/ flash a stock rom

Hi,
Can someone please suggest me links to download a ROM flasher from PC. (not flashable ROM zip from phone)
So that I can download official ROM and flash again.
Instead of this, if there is any solution, plz suggest.

There at least 4 variants of the G 2014. That's why he's asking. No need to be so rude when you're the one needing help. Anyways, there are some tools in the forum for what you need, just do a quick search.

wipe to factory.
restore sistem , after restart and long boot with WARING BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED on my phone sistem is successful booted.

3.aftr rebooting in recovery clear cache n make a data reset... then try to restart system... it wil works...
no matter which recovery ua using stock or custom it wil work unless u didnt touch the stock rom...

Thanks for care, but whatever I choose option from fastboot, it is getting reboot and bootlooping. It's the problem.
Even service center said that they have nothing to do with it. I am saying out of warranty side.
And they suggested to buy a new phone rather than changing board for Rs. 8,000/-
I downloaded and installed a theme, then when I went to apply everything I wanted to apply I rebooted my phone and now it's stuck in a boot loop, can anyone help me?

If bootloader is unlocked, you see a unlocked bootloader warning every time the device is booted up.
It is possible that spash screen could have been replaced though.
The bootloader screen does say Locked or Unlocked
From powered off,
hold the volume down button,
press and release the power button,
release the volume button when you see the bootloader info.
see attached screenshots

also rooting does not require an Unlocked bootloader.
The fastboot screen says LOCKED with a status of "0"
I def don't have that boot loader screen you posted there. Am I dealing with an impossible to unlock boot loader syndrome?
