Regret getting white S2

Having had my white Galaxy S2 for about a month, I have actually gone off the white colour and now wish I had a black handset. It's a shame as when I first got my phone I was in love with the white colour and I was one of the first to get one of the white handsets on release day.
It's stupid I know but I wandered if anyone had a similar feeling and wished they had the other colour to the one they bought?
Anyone want to do a swap? Lol

Go to the xda marketplace and post the request for trade, I bet some one would be willing to trade with you

You can always get a black case (SGP or any other) and get SGP's Black Glass Screen protector for the front. Now you have a black phone! They also give you a black piece to cover your home button. Now you can switch in between your mood. That is what I am going to do. I hear what your saying though. I love my white one but sometimes I want the black front.

That's not a bad plan. I like the fact that you could choose between the two depending on what you fancy at the time.

GOD! i love my white S2 after years of nothing but black black black , I have had three back S2`s and the silver trim around the edge of the white S2 really does looks the dogs bollics.
But each to their own

A nice sleek silver phone would be lovely but i like my black GS2.

I absolutely love the look of the white GS2, but I went with black for two main reasons. First, (and maybe you can confirm this), I read that the smooth back on the white version made the grip less sure compared to the rough back on the black. Second, as much as I love the look, I'm not really the type that likes to stand out too much, and a black smartphone is a lot less attention-grabbing than a white one, even if the latter is beautiful. Plus, I saved about $30 based on the best prices I could find when I bought. Okay, that was three reasons I guess, so sue me.
But yeah, the white usually costs a bit more, as you can see here already, you won't have any trouble trading someone.

I own a black gs2 and my wife has a white gs2. I like both but I do really like hers more! Looks awesome in white!

It's all a matter of preference. Go for it if it makes you happy. I know a lot of people including me who's like white one. Problem is that option was not available locally and I wanted a phone with warranty.

Haha that's exactly what I keep getting told. Which has put me off the white. Don't get me wrong, I still like the look of it but would much prefer the black.

I prefer the Black as I have got a Black One all my phones have either been Black or Silver.
My colleague just got a White one and It kinda looks Odd compared to mine so quite happy
Yeah and its true girls look cool with white phones

Argh, my first white phone and I love it.
But today I somehow got ink on my hands from a badly made pen and must have picked up my phone,
ink marks stay on the phone and are NOT easily wiped off.
Went from screen cleaner -> lens cleaner -> flash -> Mr muscle, which FINALLY did the job.

I got the white sgs2 after waiting for one month. I love it. I'm happy that I waited for it and didin't buy the black one. Looks awesome in white.

Galaxy S III in Pebble Blue. Still Want White

Funny how all the surveys showed most wanted the blue...but now this. LOL
I have the Galaxy S III in Pebble Blue
I love the phone. Period. And it is beautiful
It is much more blue in person and less like that gradient stuff of the One as
However it is a fingerprint magnet. I know a case may fix that but I believe I want the white one. 16gb is fine. The phone comes to Baltimore next Wed
(If anyone wants this PM me. I can deal but need enough to pay off Value Plan)
Advice:
If you really didn't like the prints and think you wanted white
Would you:
1. Do nothing. The case will fix that and the blue part above and belowbthe screen will look fine
2. Get Phantom Skins on the back from the mall and that will take care of the prints
3. Would you return it now if there was any fear of being stuck with this too long before the white one is around

I saw it in an article "july 11th" but all the reps at t-mobile store kept telling everyone august...lol i think they were just trying not to lose the sale, but then again with everything getting delayed maybe they're right...

Today i've change my white for a blue.
White is cute but i prefer blue.

I know a lot of my Androids I would get 350-500, but I clearly need the $280 spent plus the $400 payoff balance for the Value plan

I own the Blue S3 and have played with the White S3. I personally think the White S3 is the better looking of the two. But I buy black electronics and pretty much everything matches.
I'm annoyed that Samsung just didn't do a black phone and thus forced me to wait two weeks for the replacement cover Blue S3s to come into stock. A few times where I was tempted to get the White one.

You are really going to trade it because of fingerprints?
You can wipe them off it and wash your hands once in a while and it wont be a problem.

I would say, 'you're funny.' I could say that is not the reason.
But to be honest, it is part. Just the feel more than the prints itself.
I, like many I read, wish they kept the rough backnof the GS2 or GN
I think we all have idiosyncrasies about our electronics
In fact one guy in a thread questioned why all worry about color. Needless tkbsaybseveral replied to him in various ways.
But overall. I like the white.

LOL. Couldn't help but laugh a bit.
Some of us are just naturally greasy people. I wash my hands constantly(germ-a-phobe) but still grease up anything shinny. My roommate hates when I mess when his phone lol.

Blue is better
I bought the white version coz the blue wasn't available yet. It was fine but deep in side i wanted the blue!
A friend of mine had the blue but wanted the white so i traded mine with his and everyone were happy!!
The blue is more sexy, light from capacitive buttons and LED notification is more solid. U say the blue is a fingerprint magnet but u could easily clean it but the white easily stains from cases and use.
IMO stick to urs!!

I have both blue and white, use the blue because the white looks way too childish when outside, the sun makes the plastic shine like a toy.. blue handles it better and I don't see any fingerprints on mine tbf .. maybe it just doesn't bother me that much)

Hi, apologies as I know not everybody in the world would have been aware of the delay of the UK release. The Galaxy S3 Blue version was delayed due to the back battery cover having poor coatings and blotches. Whole shipments had to be recalled and replaced. It took me two weeks after the expected launch of the S3 to get my phone (although I could have switched to the white version within a week). If Samsung just stuck with plain black, then they didn't have to worry about sub-par quality of Pebble Blue paint. And I would not have to settle for the Pebble Blue.

I currently have a case for my phone and a screen protector.
I'm afraid I don't know much about the US price plans concerning the S3. I bought mine outright/unlocked in the UK because I'm moving to Hong Kong for a year. If I weren't I would have gone with a 2 year contract. Especially a recent deal for Groupon £19/month for Unlimited Data, 5000 mins and 5000 texts.

The blue looks purple under certain lighting conditions.. And not a nice purple.. My only qualm with the phone. Otherwise it is the best phone I have ever owned. Make that the best device / gadget I have owned..

Bought blue - still laughing about the purple home button - case on the back, so don't see the reflection of my neighbours.
Ignore it as I'm not a woman, with pink nails, and thus enjoy the phone for what it is - couldn't care for the looks as much as some do.

I actually really like my white one.

I prefer the white as well. I would buy black if they had one, but the blue/cobalt/purple isn't my thing.

I have marble and pebble... Marble makes iphone fanboys go crazy jealous and want to sell their iphone in a second and take GS3. The pebble one is just not that attractive like a semi popular smartphone with a great potential to get his light of the day .

Does the gun metal fade/ chip if used without cover? The black M7 has this problem. So I have to use it with a cover.

I like Black, (I have black M7), but it's doesn't present this time, I'll go for Silver/gold is something new. Gun metal is too mach identical to the M8

I really like the glacial silver we had in M8 over the other options in terms of color, finish and feel (prefer it over the hairline finish). I wonder if HTC will have that for the M9 at some point of time.

That depends if the Gunmetal black scratches like the Black HTC One M7. 2 years ago when I had the silver one, I got into a conversation with someone and they mentioned that when the black variant got scratched, you could see silver streaks all over it. So since then I've defaulted to silver being a safe choice.
If someone could tell me that the color of gunmetal is the color of the metal, and not just a paint cover, that may influence my choice to pick the darker one.

I'm getting gunmetal look like my m8, was going for the gold, but I didn't wanna wait till week 21,
So changed my order to gunmetal look.

Would like to know this too!

As far as I can tell its very similar to the gunmetal of the M8 and not actually as dark as the promotional images suggest, its definitely not the black of the M7.
I would be very very surprised if the colour of the M9 is actually the colour of the metal and not just some kind of anodization process. I know that where I've dropped my M8 all the dings show up silver underneath but not to the extent of how some peoples black M7 ended up looking - Adam

S7 which colour?

Was initially planning to buy Note 5 however changed my mind after somebody suggested to go for S7. Kindly recommend which colour to for? Thinking of buying silver one as gold looks to shiny and black one would be a finger print magnet. Any suggestions would be of great help.

I've got the gold, and it looks great. I didn't have the option to buy the silver regular S7 on Verizon, but the black one looked pretty dirty in the store so I decided on gold.

Got mine in white. It has a nice pearl effect to it.

Got the Black Onyx too, I need to wipe it a few times a day because gets full of fingerprints really fast, but the color looks amazing, glad I picked this one over Gold Platinum

I took black one, it looks better, but back side is very "dirty"
I ordered slim transparent silicon case to keep it in better shape

Silver or Black

I've received pixel xl in silver and black, boy I'm glad I ordered both colours.
I thought I would prefer black but in fact its silver which I prefer.
I find silver looks more polished and premium and I appreciate the design better. The notification light is more visible which is very important to me.
On a sperate note I love the fact dpi settings are included by default. No more rooting flashing customs Roms but shame theming option isn't included.

I ordered the silver also. The previewers said the black looked great. I think they still had the new black iPhone to compare it to. Still think the Silver looks more high end.
Nice to here about the DPI settings.

I went with black for personal preference but felt the Silver looked cleaner with its white front. The silver back blended better than the blacks on the black one as well.

I would have preferred it if it was proper jet black as oppose to "very black", tbh it isn't very black more like smoke black.

Went with silver and its arriving tomorrow. Time has now shifted to slow motion cause of knowing its on its way....

Doesn't matter the color, phone build quality looks and feels like a midrange 400 phone, next to HTC 10 it felt like a cheap phone.
Google is crazy to charge 650 - 900, should have priced 500 - 600.

feels a solid phone I got the black but looked at the silver in the store while I picked it up, I go like the silver and think the white and silver goes better than the double black due to the metal being more of a smoke black, so it just doesn't blend as well for me.
but as far as build quality, it's not as smooth as the Note was but then that is to be expected the Note was designed to be sleek and balanced, where this feels more blocky, it also feels considerably bigger and heavier in the hand, it's still a really nice phone but the design and build quality compared to the Note doesn't stack up, but really between an iPhone and a Pixel there is little difference in build quality and how solid the phones feel, the main difference comes in design choice, I do think it could have been improved by Google if they actually somewhat copied Apple and instead of making a large portion of the phone glass instead finding a good way to put a different material in the logo to still allow for NFC.
so on silver or black I think silver and white goes together better than double black but that is purely down the the shades they chose, but personally I still prefer a black phone.

I don't typically like white phones but have to say the white one looks better and more polished and blends the glass and metal better than the black phone does. Also the phone in person is technically dark grey not black. Whats crazy is they call the phone very black and it turns out it's barely black at all!! Quite black is what the ip7 jet black is....this is more like quiet black!
The phone also is not as premium feeling aiPhone or HTC 9 or 10. It looks and feels like a mid range phone $400 phone. Also the screen does not get as bright as the galaxy note or edge phones. The People that are underwhelmed feel that way about the phone because of the price not because of the phone itself. At $900 it's subpar.... while at $500/$600 it's great!

Anyone have the blue yet? Hard to get a opinion about it from videos or pictures. Wondering if it is a metallic blue. But the white and blue to me does not look good together.

I agree it definitely doesn't feel as premium as Iphone or htc 10 in particular. I disagree whole heartedly it's a mid range phone, no way.
No phone is worth £819 be it Iphone or google but comparing the 2 side by side I do prefer the overall feel of Iphone 7 plus. The overall experience including ui I prefer pixel xl.
The price difference between the 2 should about £100. iPhone is £819, google ideally should be £719.
If the Iphone was 719 then google should be 619.

Correct....the black is not black its dark grey....I feel deceived that they went as far as to call it quite black.....and yes the bezels on the 6p are way darker/blacker than this phone. I hope they come out with a jet black or true black version soon.

Not a fan of the dark grey. One thing I've always liked about the iphone is how black the front looks when the screen is off. In most lighting you can't see where the screen ends and the bezel begins.

Jet black pixel xl now that would be nice. Instead we get very grey!!!!

I am waiting for my clear cases, possibly gonna get a dbrand skin with a clear case. I don't think getting a silver is gonna be easy. I really really really wanted a xl 128 in blue, but damn you google!

I think the black does a better job hiding the large bezels, though.
