I know I'm late to the party but.. I couldn't find a specific Aussie S6 Edge Thread
So here it is for all my fellow Aussies!
Post here about your specific Aussie phone (SM-G925I) and compatible or latest Roms
Also, any information on modems and network would be greatly appreciated!

True the 925I is not "exclusive" to AU but perhaps the OP was looking for (or trying to get feedback for) local experiences without having to wade through a lot of other information that might not be useful to the AU market.

Where tf did I say it is an exclusive model?? Modems however differ from carriers due to different frequencies used by the telcos. If you're not Australian then you wouldn't know, so this thread is not for you.
What I want to know is why someone from Argentina with a different variant phone is posting in an Australian user thread??

I have the XSA version too .. but still on the 5.0.2 version .. hoping someone can figure out getting the finger print reader to work without updating the bootloader.. may give in soon though!
(else I can just use 5.1.1 roms but have to omit the use of the fingerprint reader)
For the XSA 5.1.1 bootloaders and modem (Pulled from G925IDVU2COGA_G925IXSA2COGA_G925IDVU2COGA) .. you can download them here off my google drive

5.1.1 update
Anyone having problems with the latest Optus 5.1.1 update? Mine's lock screen forces closes 3-4 times a day it's really annoying.
I moved to the INU 5.1.1 little while back, so what's the goodness with the modem from our XSA version if I move back? I think we're all stuck with COG for little longer now until all the F phones get their new things..

Not true .. Just as a test, I dirty flashed my own quick version of 925F's H2 (don't recommend anyone doing this - I'm not going to fix your errors!) over my 5.0.2
Works fine.. (amazingly!) - there are the expected errors (fingerprint sensor not working - flashing a 5.1.1 bootloader would fix this)
don't need to update my modem - still on G925IDVU1BOE3 from the XSA stock I was running before
Auto brightness works - there is a little delay of a few seconds when testing though
As I made only an odexed version (cuz it was just a test) no xposed or systemui mods, reboot mods, etc possible
Apps edge works
COH2 for 925I

At last some new firmaware for Europe - SM-P600! :good:
Can someone spot any changes to the old firmware from Spain?
Regards.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem with 5ghz wifi that others have had with the new firmware from Taiwan?
Ah good news!It seems that his tablet hasn't been abandoned!I only hope that this version will rollout in the other european country..

I've installed this, tablet working ok - too early to comment on changes.
It is rather sad and disappointing that there's still no official update for UK bought P600's ... a big samsung failure IMO

I've not followed the discussion as such, nor did I try the Taiwan firmware, however I have just verified I am connected via 5 Ghz (at work) just fine
The tablet was originally installed on android 4.3 UK, BTU. I've since flashed the initial spain 4.4.2, then this new one. I didn't reset at any point, so the CSC is still showing as BTU. It's possible an asian CSC (or anything outside europe) may result in different wireless availability due to rules over what channels are allowed in what countries, and I suspect this data is all part of the CSC definition
If that is the case, proper wifi may only come back with a hard reset/CSC switch. I'm no expert though it's just a hunch...
The same built is now out on Switzerland (AUT) too!!:good:

Debloated, custom kernel running. Battery life did pretty good last night.
Canadian note4 n910w is cok3, down grade available.
Can i flash canadian cok3 in my 910c coj5? Don't have bootloop? If i flash 910w cok3 can flash 910c coi3 later?

True they are bad with software updates, but an official AODService by Samsung app was uploaded on Samfirmware website, and it said compatible with S7 & S6 specifically, leading us to believe that AOD is in the works for the S6, considering the new Galaxy A8 has the same chipset as our S6 but also has AOD.

yes i know that but if we think logical it has never been done yet that samsung is releasing new featers of one newer model to the previous model or am i wrong? and i still cant understand samsung they can give the a8 (midrange) the features of the s7 but not the flagship s6
i'm really fed up with samsung

Thank u i need this
Thank for upload, flash of firmware doesn't work for me. Anyone has same problem ?
Which odin version should I use?
Does anyone have a mega link for the BTU version of this?
Thanks in advance
The Russian build of G920FXXU4DPJN fails after applying hidden.img. Using an older version now instead as Russian seems to be the only one with 2016-11-01 security updates.

You mean firmware flashing via Odin will fail about half way?won't that hard brick the device?

Yes, flashing the Russian build via Odin fails at ~90%, on hidden.img. I was afraid it would brick the device, but it didn't. I used flashed another build over the existing one, it worked just fine.

Which Odin version did you use? I also tried flashing but could not get it to start. The file could not be added in AP on Odin. Was stuck at OSM>please wait..

I'm using 3.12.3. Worked fine with the French build but not the Russian.

Extract hidden.img and rename it to hidden.img.tar, then flash with AP option in Odin.
