Phone: LG G2
Model: LS980
Issue: I'm running stock Rom 4.4.2 , I installed TWRP Recovery to go on custom Rom, but after installing TWRP I cannot access download/recovery mode. It gives me error which says that "Error: Certification Verify" and nothing after that.
Please help me to get rid of. I've tried AutoRec.apk from Cloudyfya but it gives multi colors after applying that . Please help me rather than Autorec.apk
Thanks in advance!

Ok, So I tried flashing Lightning Rom 2.0 using Philz Recovery. Installation went smoothly until the end where it failed to Lokify. I went ahead and installed the KK Baseband and attempted to boot. It was stuck in a bootloop. So I tried to boot back into recovery but being that I'm using the D801 model I had to flash Smiley's rom to remove recovery in order to avoid the "white lines" bug. So now I'm stuck with a rom that won't boot and no recovery. And when i try using LG Flash tool it says "Download Fail" " Device model is different". I know I'm using the correct files as I've used LG flash tool like 7-8 times on this phone. I think the rom failing to lokify changed the device model or something because even the bootloader looks different. (Before the interface was smooth, now the "No (exit) and Yes options are in boxes and turn grey when I highlight them. Someone please help me.
Hi
I have a LG G2 D802 and when I bought it, I rooted it and installed the latest official KitKat. But today, after receiving an OTA and accepting the upgrade, my phone is stuck in a CWM bootloop.
I tried several tutorials to restore a stock rom but none of them worked because the LG G2 is not recognized by Windows after installing the LG united drivers.
I also tried to use a generic driver so that I can connect to the phone with ADB but ... "adb devices" says "unauthorized device".
I also can't under download mode.
So I am really stuck.
Any help please !
I probably made the situation just worse, when I tried to install TWRP and CM11 ...
Now I have : "Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify" and after 10s, the screen goes black.
I can't connect to the phone from USB anymore. It is seen as "QHSUSB_BULK"

Since your in qhusb_bulk mode you'll need to follow this guide to fix it.

You don't need freegee.
Root with kingroot (takes stable internet connection and about 3-4 tries) or simply root with the method in original guide
Then use Autorec to install recovery. Don't use any other methods. If its official lollipop, use lollipop autorec for your phone. Otherwise simply autorec kitkat recovery and flash away. Make sure u wipe system too before flashing a rom.

Use autorec. Also learn to use the forum search function. It is very helpful.
As I say in the title I have a LG G3 D855 and I was trying to root it and installt twrp but I completely screwed up.
After that I managed to go into the qualcomm bootloader and restore the phone following this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/unbrick-lg-g3-qhsusbbulk-qualcomm-9008-t3072091, but I keep on getting security error loop.
I cannot enter download mode, therefore I cannot flash my rom again. I have tried already with the tot images from EUR and HKG, and still no improve.
Any experience/help on solving this?
Thanks in advance!
