I installed Hyperdrive rom on my Note 3 and I made the mistake of rebooting to recovery. The rom didn't have Safestrap installed, And now my phone is in a boot loop saying Recovery Booting... I can't get into recovery Mode to try and fix this, So I don't know what to do now
Anyone know how to get past this
try this see post 2
I was trying to unlock my Nexus 4. I've done this before on a Galaxy Nexus, successfully but something went wrong here.
Just got CWM Recovery on. I tried to reboot using the recovery and it provided me with two prompts:
1) Do you want to disable the stock recovery install? [ I hit NO ]
2) Do you want to root your device (I believe this is what it asked) [ I hit YES ]
Now my phone is stuck in a reboot loop. I can get into recovery with no problem (and it is still the CWM one). I've tried reloading the recovery to no avail. What are my options to try to fix this?
I have tried fastboot erase cache but it did not restore my phone.
Update your recovery or try to flash another recovery. Twrp is recommended here. Cwm also gave me some hard time with bootloop and stuff

I tried flashing TWRP, but I get the Can't mount /data, Can't mount internal storage, etc etc. I can't flash .zips at all and I feel like my only way out is to use fastboot to deal with things. Even now, I'm trying fastboot and it's stuck trying to send the factory Nexus 4 4.4.4 ROM over...
I have no idea how to safely fall back now. I just want my phone back ASAP.
Just tried flashing 5 out of the 6 imgs to my phone using fastboot (didn't flash recovery). and I'm STILL stuck on the loading screen (10 minutes). Which means I'm still having the problem...I have no idea what to do now.

Flash recovery in fastboot. This'll put the stock recovery on. Do a factory rest in the stock recovery. Then flash the twrp image in fastboot and re-root

Flash it again. Remember to clean out the cache and dalvik cache every time you flash a zip.
This is why most phones get stuck in a boot loop when flashing a new ROM.
As long as you have the custom recovery, you don't need to flash custom recovery
Hope this helps!
I would also recommend PhilZ's recovery. Best of both CWM and TWRP.

Hey guys I need help. I tried to flash recovery yesterday but it doesn't work. I flashed my stock recovery with a cwm I found on the net. When I try to boot in recovery it shows the Blu logo and then black lines take over the screen and it reverts to rebooting normally. I'm trying to flash it over with a stock recovery through the twrp manager app and rashr app but no luck. Any ideas????
Using Blu vivo air lollipop
I've got the same problem. Waiting for a solution :/

You forgot to reboot recovery instead of the system after flashing TWRP so have lost TWRP. There is essentially no recovery on the phone now which is why you are getting that message. You need to boot TWRP using the fastboot image from fastmode mode and then reinstall TWRP again from there. Make sure to reboot to recovery after flashing. TWRP should stick after this.
I downloaded from asus website the stock firmware and when installing it screen goes black and not phone won't turn on..Maybe the issue is that i was using lineage recovery instead of stock recovery when updating...Not sure, does not matter...
Now when turning on phone is stuck for a while on asus logo and then shutdowns...Same happens when I try to boot into recovery...I can access fastboot though...
I have tried to flash several recoveries with fastboot, using fastboot flash recovery 'name.img' even though writing recovery shows okay, I still can not boot into recovery after...
Is there anyway I can unbrick my device? I read something about QFIL and QPST but have not figured how to use it or find any tutorial...
