Testing cause for proc_auxv files - ZenFone 2 General

I'm determined to find out the source of the files are produced and instead of doing blind test I would like to request help from the community.
If you have tens or hundreds or thousands of files named proc_auxv in the root of internal storage, please help by replying details about your system.

I m having almost the sane set up as urs just stock rom and kernel
But i have a question does ur blurred system ui works properly cuz my doesn't

Meeting was cancelled, so I have some spare time to post here too
Device model: Z00A(D) ZE551ML
ROM: Stock
Version: 2.19.xx
Kernel: ProjectT
Version: v67
Xposed: No
L-speed: No
If it's not L-Speed then maybe Xposed (don't know if the x86 support is declared stable or experimental).
Ah and, I don't have any proc_auxv files

full stock on 551ML
Xposed : yes / modules : gesture, youtube adaway
LS mod : yes
issue come from LS mod coz each time i load it with LS command in terminal emulator, proc_ files are created. i've tried on fresh install of LS mod. Before LS mod no proc_auxv files
EDIT : ok i've tried another method. i'm not using anymore this emulator https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=fr , and use putty on my PC to connect by SSH to my Zenfone, and for now, no more proc_auxv file created. i'm using sshdroid, even if service can't start in the application i can connect to my phone and use LS mod without creating any proc_auxv files

YES! It's from LS! On boot after LS install, proc files are created and everytime LS is launched and every input given into LS will create the files.. I even tried another terminal application, even though I can't make LS work with the other terminal application, but proc files are still created. I didn't try SSH as you did but I can now sure that LS created those files.
(or maybe the story doesn't end there, as @AL_IRAQI claims that he doesn't use LS but he has proc files too)

Nice to find out the source!
Does anyone know how to solve this? Are these files needed all the time? I'll check the forums out..

I mean if you want to use L Speed then use v2.5. If you don't want to use L Speed, you can just delete the files (make sure you've uninstalled L Speed completely first before deleting so that it will not appear again).
(Deleting the files won't affect any version of L Speed, you can just delete it but if you're using v2.4 then the files might reappear everytime L Speed runs)

great work
tried with cm 10.1 and int2ext, all works fine
first run of dexo -all forgot 3 apps: Phonesky.apk, Mms.apk ans Settings.apk, running dexo -all a second time fixes it
(i had only 45 mb free in system, maybe this was the reason)
after that i run dexo -dat, worked without problems
app starting seems faster now

[4.3/4.4] AppOps | Independent App

Hi guys,
I recompiled AppOps as an independent app from latest AOSP source and it works after making some changes. What this means is that you no longer have to rely on third party apps or tricks/workarounds. This is an independant app, just like any other app you use so you can install it and then use AppOps right from your app drawer!
Download: https://raw.github.com/theblixguy/AppOps/master/apk/AppOps.apk
Flashable ZIP for KitKat 4.4/4.4.1/4.4.2: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qiqst3lg5jld5mk/AppOps_Kitkat_flashable.zip
Source code: https://github.com/theblixguy/AppOps
Installation: Move the apk (DO NOT INSTALL) to the system/priv-app folder and set permissions to 777 and then reboot! Or you can flash the ZIP via recovery which will do everything for you
Note: The app is compatible with Android 4.3 but since I don't have a device with Android 4.3, I haven't been able to test the app on Android 4.3 and Android 4.3 does not have a system/priv-app folder so if you're successfully able to use the app on Android 4.3 after moving it to /system/app folder and setting the permissions to 777 then let me know!
If you guys face any problems then please reply below
Thanks
CHANGELOG:
21/12
-> Updated icon
-> Added about dialog
-> Cleaned up code
-> Added support for Android 4.3
19/12
-> First release
im looking forward to trying this ouut and comparing it with a few other aps...just one thing ...a direct download would be great and 777 permissions??? you mean rw- r-- r--???
Yes 644 are the right permissions for all apps in priv-app
Any chance of making a flash able zip? I use Cyandelta for flashing CM nightlies and it has the ability to tag additional zips for post-install

Installed and rebooted and seems to be working OK. Of interesting note...all of my permission revokes were there from when I ran the AppOpps app from 4.4.1 before it was removed. Could lead to interesting problems if future versions make this inoperable and permissions need to be changed?

My app is built using the same code that AppOps uses (plus some of my modifications to make it work independently) so it will work and behave *exactly* like the inbuilt AppOps app. So, if you denied Facebook access to camera using the inbuilt AppOps app then if you run my app, you would see that Facebook is denied access to camera.

This script has more apps , maybe more than we have. If an app isn't found, it will be skipped. If an app is found , it will be deleted.
It will ask for a confirmation before deleting an app.
We cannot remove some critical apps like the stock lg dialer and more. Those LG apps that are not included if they get deleted they cannot be installed again.
For a flashable aroma debloater go to this thread
soomboons use those names right.? in G2.. does this also deletes the folders .? ive used some debloater and folders are still in private -app and app folders.?

should delete the folders too. yea it's an idea taken from G2 and added a couple of apps that are only in G4.

nope besides it's something we all always do after flashing a stock rom , either for testing , either for everyday permanent use.
And just like post #2 sais, if anything needs to be changed inform me.
Truth is i was between a force script debloater or this. But i thought that aroma is easier to control, "add" or "remove" apps to match all tastes :good:

Yeah. It's also possible to simply make a debloat script since I don't have time now to make a aroma , for use with terminal or an app that executes it
I uploaded a simple debloat script too until i have time for the aroma.
Reboot after using it to apply changes

nice. i didn't find it in search when i tried to find debloat g4. but i don't think anything has changed since then. That aroma debloater must be enough. LG hasn't done any update , only security patches.
Maybe i will only update it , if the op there won't update it, when nougat stock comes.
So ill change this thread to alternative live debloater since it is executed in rom not in twrp.
Am I right?
All I have to do is enter the codes on a command prompt with adb ???

App names are the same mate.
The only difference is that 29a is slightly less bloated by default and it offers the apps in LG store
