Hey guys, i tried to install dolby atmos, but doesnt work "forced stop" anyone know how install this mod correctly?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/mod-dolby-atmos-t3109446
Thanks

it seems that you are not the only one experiencing it. If you go one page back on that thread there is also a nexus7 user suffering from the FC issue. you can try to find the answer in the thread but just wait till tomorrow and it might get answered by @worstenbrood as he is probably sleeping now.

you must install SELinux Mode Changer first, then open app/ touch Permissive/reboot/ install dolby atmos again

[FIXED] [V4A] Samsung Galaxy J5 (SM-J500F)

Hello fellow J5 users
I have rooted my phone and I'm trying to get ViPER4Android mod working but I'm unable to do so. I tried searching forums here but our device doesn't have an forum page yet I hope the moderators/admins make one soon  .
So far I've installed as instructed and tried troubleshooting as instructed too but nothing seems to work, the installation is breeze but the drivers for V4A don't install. The status is abnormal. Driver version is 2.3.4.0
I followed every instruction on ViPER4Android page for installation on Galaxy devices, they don't seem to solve my problem. I also tried other method i.e replacing audio_effects.config with a another config which worked on S6 Edge but that doesn't to seem work as well. So I've restored the original config. No worries here!. I read somewhere this has something to do with kernel and SELinux status which is 'Enforcing' . There's no custom kernel available which has SELinux set to permissive. If anyone has got the V4A working on our device please help me out
Edit : I searched around forums and found a way get the V4A working on Stock kernel of Samsung J5 even if the SELinux Status is set to Enforcing. You will just have to flash a zip with a custom recovery (I used TWRP made by @CTXz) and Voila! This flashable will work on any device too (not fully sure though).
Page for the zip : Click here [Navigate to post #18854]
The zip was provided by maximumentropy
you need app SElinux mode changer.. i installed that and work for j5 with viper4android
the link doesn't work can you please provide tpoic tittle
Clicked the link but says error. Can you please provide the link again and also the name of the provider and the title of the post so i can advance search it.. And the zip you are taking or giving about is it a custom kernel
Please update your links. I am a fan of Poweramp, but want to give V4A a try.
Thanks.

I just noticed that the link from "Page for the zip" had an extra "http//", that's why it didn't work
The correct link is this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61242973&postcount=18854 .

How to export Dolby atmos in Yoga tab 3 plus?

Yoga tab 3 plus has 4 speakers, and it has offical dolby atmos in its rom. Anybody knows how to export dolby atmos and make a package so I can flash it in third-party roms.
Thank you.
BTW, the offical rom is android 6.0.1 while I'm in android 7.1. I'm using lineageOS and rooted. I'm wondering if I can locate those files and add or replace them.

Nobody here will be able to answer that question. Please check out this thread

What you want to do has been done there.
Previously the LeEco version posted there worked well but doesn't anymore maybe because of changes in LineageOS. The Lenovo version posted there still seems to work but I am not sure if it produces the best quality.
Try A.R.I.S.E. It will blow you away (has Dolby Atmos as well).

Viper or any other audio mod

Guys can you please provide me Viper or other like atmos or arise audio mod, which works with this rom
[ROM][XT1575|XT1572][Aroma]TruPureXMM 2.9 - Fast and Smooth [5-26][MM 6.0]
I need Links for Zip and apk files. I searched a lot but couldn't found a working version.
My device feels like it produce low volume on some videos and songs. But on some its very loud. Don't know what is wrong. So that's why I want to try Viper. I have tried Viper in note 3 and it worked great.
1. Supersu, busybox installed&installed, flash zip with twrp.

I downloaded it few months ago from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/r-s-e-sound-systems-auditory-research-t3379709
Or
2. With magisk manager you can install viper & dolby as systemless modules.
I don't know if it will help in:
"...My device feels like it produce low volume on some videos and songs. But on some its very loud..."
Thanks a lot sir
I appreciate your help.
Don't know it's weird problem I am facing. Some apps are producing low volume. It's like they are not utilizing full speaker volume. But on some it's loud enough. Hope this will help. Thanks a lot once again

MiA1 APTX support for Pie

So my wife recently gifted me an APTX enabled headset and i've been trying to get APTX to work on my MiA1 that's recently been updated to Pie.
Problem is, i can set the codec to APTX via developer options but as soon as i exit the setting menu, the codec then reverts back to SBC.
Headset is the Sennheiser 4.5 BTNC.
I've been using google to look for solutions but seeing that i've recently updated to Pie, the only solution i found was for Oreo.
Anybody experience the same? Thanks!
Try the "APTX for Android Oreo & Pie" module on the Magisk repo.
@laymonage @enteng_kabizote does that worked?

my friend, if the cellphone is rooted and installed magisk, it would be better for you to install VIPER4Android FX and be able to do the settings from situ.module Viper you can download directly from the magisk repo.
