The 2gb ram and quad core is hardly of any use.. Except hardcore games. Note 1 is super amazing for everything . also display on note 1 is better ppi and resolution wise. With jelly bean and the note2 features ported to note 1 I'm sure it's gonna be rocking.

Bigger Battery
Still not worthy of an upgrade. Plus I think the Note I has better screen resolution than Note II.

Not a big deal, i won't buy it... seems like S3 is better than note2

I knew they were going to use the s3 design on it, but I was hopping that they will go in another direction.
In my opinion s3 feels so cheap when you hold it, then it feels even cheaper when you are not holding it because of the glossy plastic and greasy fingerprints on it.... I'm gonna stick to my note, maybe note 3 will be better.
I like the hardware on note2, but still...

Can you confirm the LED Notification light? Because RGB Led doesn't exactly say it...

It's the end of one beatiful friendship...
Let's check possible scenario:
1. New one Note 1 in my country is 420 €.
2. I can sell mine for about 300 €, if I was lucky... In perfect condition, btw, with 4-5 cases.
3. New Note 2 will be, IMO, around 600 € plus minus 20 €.
4. So, for 2 Gig of RAM, and better batery (+300 mAh) I'll have to pay +300 €.
5. Let's check the other manufacturers offers, it's about time...

What a monster! Looks absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to find out Sprints release date Oct 24th for the US. I'm up for upgrade Nov 1st, so every day I wait there after is going to be torture

Twisted, since you have the International Note 2, what speeds are you getting? My International Note 1, is averaging 6 down, but my SIII is getting 60 down. I'm in North Dallas area. I'm itching to buy the International, but will probably wait for the LTE.

Speedtest app wont work for some reason maybe jellybean? On straight talk on my note 1 I averagee 5.3 to 6 down. I truly love straight talk

I've been wondering, can you change the number of icons? 'Cause on the original Note you can put 5 icons in a row but on the Note II I always see only 4.

exactly man.
you forgot how many problems you got with the widgets, when is not covering full screen ? Looking ugly and fake ?
you forgot how many problems we got before with "non optimized" resolution ?
Galaxy note 2 much more smarter. Resolution is optimized for everything. Plus it brings more FPS for us.
And the icons it just a launcher. It will be hacked later.

I created loads of folders now I can find eveything on home screen and set other screens just for show and widgets

help me choosing my first note phone

hi all i am going to buy note 3 after few days and now a days i am watching review videos and lots of threads on xda.. and i found that note 3 specially n9005 version has low sound quality compared to note 2 and also its camera is not sharp and pictures come out blurry specially in night time,,, please share your experience.... i got a chance to get my hands on to galaxy s4 I9500 and its speakers was awesome very loud! but i like S-pen thats why want note 3. kindly share your real life experience. Thanks

i hold in my hand note 3 n900 and i am very very satisfied with my beast great pics this monster clicks and about sound its all about prefrences the sound i get with note 3 i love it .... il suggest you to go with note 3 bro ... as its awsum screen , better design , light weight is just awsum
but at the end of the day its your call , hope you make the better choice

some quality might have been decresed because of the imgur site as it needs pro version to post the original size of the pics

the n9005 one is more popular one , il suggest you to buy that as it comes with snap dragon + lte + 4k video recording and muc much more custom rom support from the great developers

The N9005 doesn't make blurry pictures at night. People who don't know a thing about photography make blurry pictures at night. Stop using ISO Auto.
I've not noticed anything awful about the speaker sound. It sounds better than my old S3... But if speaker sound truly matters to you, perhaps consider investing in a 20quid 3.5mm audioplug external speaker? Plenty of them available these days.

i have the N900, its picture quality is good but not as good as my G2
overall experience, it is great phone but it has its flaws, specially due to touchwiz
it is fast but not to my expectation.
i like the phone but i regret buying it. i was more happy with my LG G2.
I cant wait for Z2 to come out so i could exchange it

Don't know for you guys, but the Note 4 is probably the phone i've been waiting for for years. If these picture turn out to be true, i'm pulling the trigger on that one. Metal frame, 2K display, 4K recording, IOS, 3GB RAM, 32GB of storage minimum...yup, that most likely is my dream phone. I know this phone looks like a giant S2, but the S2 is the galaxy phone i liked the design the most.
Because of my carriers flexible upgrade policies, i've been upgrading phone every 6 months for the S and note line respectively, but after seeing this Note, I'm almost certain I will keep it until the next Note comes out, unless the S6 will be ever more beastly of course!!:fingers-crossed:
There are a few features I hope this phone will have, most of all, stereo speakers. I can see one speaker grill on the bottom, i hope there is another one on top. Besides that, i would not spit on integrated wireless charging. I mean waiting a few months and paying an additional 70$ for a wireless charging back and pad is a bit ridiculous. I also hope they make a few features better, such as fingerprint sensor, which i dont use because i think it's such a drag to swipe your finger on the button, i honestly hope they go for the same idea apple did with their 5S

The Note line have always been the real Samsug flasgships since release. Don`t know if i`ll get it though, i`ll wait for the Nexus 6 probably

ill be getting a note 4. i had a note 3 before i got the s5 and gave the n3 to my brother.
very often do i almost feel like trading him phones but the better camera and added water and dust resistance keep me from doing it. the note 4 is supposed to offer water and dust resistance, a better screen, and a better camera. (among other great things like more ram than the s5 and a better processor)
i miss stable asop roms, the s-pen, and the size of the screen of the note3. but i hope dev support for the note 4 will be just as strong as the note 3 and s5 has been.

I think I will buy. But will wait some time to see if there be any bugs. I'll let people to test it for me )). And then i'll decide what to do. But I agree that Note line is true flagship phone.

Yep, just got the S5 as a temporary phone, sold my Note 2 and will go for the Note 4 as soon it's released, actually, the Battery of my 2 year old Note 2 lasted longer then the S5 (8+ hours actual screen on time) and I really miss the bigger display. So yes I will go for the Note4 for sure

S5 is Really bad for aosp, i think never buy Samsung anymore.

I had squaretrade reimburse me for my note 5 that I got because I had a calling issue, I was planning on getting a S7 Edge, but now with this news I plan on waiting for the Note 7 Edge

That's exactly why. Some people (ridiculous imho) might view the Note 6 being inferior to the to GS7, just by the simple fact of the number being lower. Seems not as new as the GS7. I guess to match iPhone 7 too.

I gave my s7 edge to the wife. My note 4 rooted is better battery and pimped to my liking. Too bad. That phone was gorgeous.

I used to root and flash a ton. For an experiment I tried using a stock ROM on my note 4. Found I didn't have anymore use for root and Roms and got used to it quick.
On the s7 I enjoy using Samsung pay since it uses a virtual card at the stores so when places like Target get hacked again, they won't have my real card number. And I can't use Samsung pay with root or Knox tripped.
Will get the note 7(6) when it comes out of it is water resistant and has a micro sd card slot.
Some people still enjoy flashing and rooting and that's cool. I just don't have the time anymore with work and raising a family.

Also evidently the Note 7 wont ship with Android N. just 6.0.1. These are all rumors or so called leaks but....hope it releases with flat screen option and Android N!

The Note series rarely, if ever launches with the most up to date Android. Since they launch almost in tandem, if not slightly before/after the official Android launch. Our 910T didn't get 5.0.1 until late April of the following year.

Yeah I am willing to bet that bootloader will be locked. As compensation, it will have SD card. It will be the Note 7...big brother to the S7.
