I got stuck on unlocking the bootloader.... (and im not gonna try it again!) when i tried to unlock it (twise) the phone just hang in fastboot mode and none of buttons were responsive,so i couldnt shut it off or restart. Also none of the adb commands worked to restart the fastboot mode or to exit it. So i had to wait for a long time for the battery to fisnish...(since this damn phone has no removable battery)!!

When is that ROM coming through?, tried to port miui v6 and v7 but still having problems
any news about rooting android lolipop 5.1 on this device ?
i had my share of tryouts ...... all failed XD
i even got stuck in bootloop when i used mtk droid tools cwm recovery

You cannot use another phones models rom on your phone
You would need to port the rom to your phone
I tried Same But problems are there.

Flash stock rom via odin - see my firmware thread - link in my signature for my threads then it's under firmware section & select correct firmware thread for your device although I only have b5510
I would suggest getting the correct firmware from sammobile.com as I don't know if the b5512 is just a regional variant or uses different firmware
Remember you can't flash other devices roms - you have to correctly port them

I am using carbon v1.4 works great. I have already flashed compact kernel. But the thing is my gt-b5512 goes low on battery in about 6 hrs with internet connection. I also have installed prevent running bcz gingerbread doesnt support greenify. So, i want to ask if u guys have the same problem? or should i try the hatyon rom? replay ASAP!

i have a bricked sprint lg g2 (rooted) but with only stock recovery and download mode , is there a way with your tool to fix it other than flash the 2 giga official rom with because i am in an isolated area with very limited internet speed and quota, thank you

Yes, but it's difficult, because Toolkit is able to bump boot.img before installing, but magisk modify Your current boot.
I found script which allow You to bump currently boot.img. So at the begining You flash magisk, and before You will've leaved recovery, You should flash this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/cbump-bump-current-boot-image-t3325186

T230/T231 CM11 boot error
Hi All
I am hoping someone can assist with the following error I am getting when attempting to boot CM11 on my Galaxy Tab 4 7" (T231)

It seems Sultanxda was able to boot the device (T230), however the CM11 boot animation starts and fails with the following error (logcat):

Anyway ..
So I had finally got CM11 to boot on my T231 3g model, but it is laggy and nothing is working (no wifi, mobile, sdcard, bluetooth)
I have used MaxiCM (https://github.com/maxicm"]https://github.com/maxicm) device tree and T231 kernel from Samsung to get it up and running with some tweaks / hacks.
This is my first attempt at porting a ROM (chose a bad device) and with limited time will not allow me to invest more time into it, I hope there are experienced ROM developers who will invest more time and effort into this, CM will run much better than Samsung's Touchwiz.
I will follow and learn from other devs on how to port roms as I would like to attempt this in future.

Hey I flashed this Rom and and I dunno if its just my tablet or Android 5.0 but for some reason...My GoPro (3+ Black) will not connect to my N10. I have researched it all I cant find out why it wont connect. Im to the point where I feel as if its Android 5.0. I'm runny 4.4.4 on my Note 3 and it works fine...It also works on my G. Nexus runny 4.4.2 and it also works on my iPod...but it will not connect to my N10. Does any the slightest idea as to why? Does anyone on here even own a GoPro and has run into this problem? This issue has happen on this rom and on Team UB rom...so I'm thinking its not the rom but the OS thats not working well. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, i am from Belgium, when i enable 4G it connects, and it works fine, but there some kind of bug.
With 3g, i can get speeds over 700 kb/s, but with 4G, i only get speeds of 20kb/s.
Is this bug known, or is there a solution for it?

And the second issue: i have the last CWM installed. And i can't install the 2.3 verison of BlissPop. At the stage of "wiping caches" the tablet reboots, and get stuck in an endless boot process. Can you help me?

At the end i was able to flash the 2.3 version after changing to the latest TWRP. :laugh:

Device stuck at Lenovo splash screen after reboot
Hello,
I have tried the above and after reboot the device is stuck at the lenovo splash screen (it shows 'lenovo' and 'powered by Android' in white on black background). Is that related to the size of the file that requires a while to be processed or is it a bug symptom. In the first case I am wondering how long I should wait, or can I drop the device right away...

My K920 is now dead
I tried the above and my K920 is now dead.
When booting it is stuck at the LeNovo splash screen.
When trying to revert again then I get an error message that the Fuse file is not available.
Not possible to format and not possible to mount the K920 drive via USB on Linux.
Windows won't even find any drive...

I'm sorry to hear that. It worked for me just fine. Are you using ROW (international) phone version?
If so, I can help you recover the device.

Hi, I bought and I'm using this device in Europe. Can I use this ROM or do I need "international" one?
I've done it. Everything went smoothly. Thank you very much for this. I like KitKat more than Lollipop, because with last one I've had issues with mobile internet. Phone freezes five times a day after upgrading to Lollipop.

I've explicitly stated that this is only for ROW (rest-of-the-world) version of the phone, not the CN (chinese) one. I don't own CN device therefore I can't really help you, but you should be able to find a guide (eg.) how to restore your firmware, either via QFIL utility or some other way. There is a difference between ROW and CN versions of the phone, so please, keep that in mind.
Best of luck I'm sure you'll be able to recover your device.

For those of you in this thread who are not sure how to tell which phone you have:
One easy way identify your phone type: China or ROW, is to check the Software version number in Settings->About phone->Version information.
The Chinese version will have VIBEUI in the version string while the ROW will have ROW.
If your phone has the VIBEUI firmware installed then you must not try to flash the phone with ROW firmware, or vice versa. If you do, the best case scenario is that you can't make any calls and the worst case is total brickage. The reason for this is that these two versions of phones have different hardware inside.
