Stuck in Boot Loop vs980
I just flashed Deviant vs980 Beta1.1, gapps-kk-20140606 and am now stuck in a boot loop. I tried deviant beta 2.1 and no gapps and still had constant reboots. Basically I'm stuck. In the OP a boot.img was mentioned...is that something that will help this? Right now I'm getting as far as signing onto wifi then it reboots. If I don't flash gapps with it then I can get it booted and after about 30seconds the loop continues.

Updated my kernel to Dorimanx but I still can't play videos on youtube . it just loads and then stops nothing but a black screen. I'm on the LS980 and did a clean install

Can't root G2 LS980 after DeviantXone Flash
Spent all night going through ioroot & purpledrake. I finally found stumproot and that worked. I then used AutoRec to flash TWRP. I then flashed liquidsmooth, and then decided to flash straight to DeviantXone instead.
I'm not sure if I should have rooted afterwards or what, I just know that this phone is way harder to work with than any other phone I've had. After I flashed DeviantXone, Stumproot failed, and said my device isn't compatible. Any help would be great, I'm a noob and this is stressing me out.
Oh, I also heard talk about flashing stock firmware, and that that might help to root, but when I tried to download one of the tools, Chrome totally shot me down and wouldn't allow me to download because it was "malware". I know Chrome does that sometimes, but I decided to post before I did something stupid.

i know this is late and u got it rooted but i discovered all u have to do is once youve flashed this rom reenable devoloper options and there is an option to be rooted or not rooted in dev options

Newer poster, long time xda lurker. Always seem to be coming back to the Cloudy + dori combo! I just wanted to confirm the HotplugSuspend issues occurring with 8.8 as well as the phone generating quite a bit of heat (70-75C) under what should be lighter loads (browsing, RSS feed apps, etc.) with alucard hotplug and gov enabled. Will post logs later. Thank you for all your work dori and I hope to be of help going forward.

Hello everyone! I'm using D802 on Cloudy G3 v2.1 rom and after installing Dorimanx 8.8 (been using 8.7 without any problems) i get stuck at fastboot.Any suggestions appreciated!

F320L bootloader problems
Sir good day to you. Im really sorry if my post here is not really related to your post. but I need some help and it will be really appreciated if you will be able to help me. Im really noob in modifying my LG G2 F320L.
Ive read many threads on how to root and flash custom recovery. but I cant find any post here that can help me with my prob. I have already rooted my phone using ioroot25 and flashed twrp recovery using autorec.
I've been trying to go to bootloader using power and volume buttons. as what I see in many posts. its only power + volume down button until I see LG logo and then release it and push and hold it again until I see a prompt that will ask me if I want to wipe my phone. but going to bootloader isnt working.
It only just boot to the system right away. I've been trying to press and hold the power and volume down buttons but the LG logo only just appearing and disappearing repeatedly. Ive also tried plugging USB and pressing power + volume down as what you said in your post, I thought the usb thing might be the missing part why i was not able to go to bootloader. but It's still not working.
I also tried using application that will make me reboot to bootloader but the phone only just reboots to the android system right away. using application to reboot to recovery is working. booting to bootloader is really my problem. This is the reason why I was a bit afraid to flash a kernel or new rom because I cant get to bootloader in case flashing new kernel or rom wont work.
the last thing I tried was pressing all buttons, power + volume down + volume up at the same time. and a white screen appears with korean words menu. that is also the problem because I cant read it. I will post the picture of the screen projecting white screen with korean selections. Please help me if you could. thanks alot.

There is just a little different in the kernel config with d802 , could you think about supporting it.

new version for slim f2fs
Hi, sorry for my stupid question, I'm newbie.
There is a new version for F2FS other than Slim-grouper-4.4.2.build.4.8-WEEKLY-3876-F2FS.zip?
On slim website is Slim-grouper-4.4.4.build.8.10-WEEKLY-7760, but without F2FS.
If I install 4.4.2, can I update from ota to 4.4.4 without problems?

after update running well, but I discover two bugs:
1. No 3G after update (only WiFi)
2. I try to update from ota with fail (as was expected), but every time after restart/power on, it downloads the update
How can I solve the two issues? Get the 3G part and stop download the update.

Find out how to root your device (tilapia), and then find out how to do a clean install.
Sorry not much info. I use the nexus 7 wifi (grouper) so things might be different

Can anyone guide me how can I do a stock nakasig-ktu84p-tilapia-4.4.4 with All-F2FS?
I make a build, but I'm missing something, because after flash doesn't start. Can someone look into it, if I will put to a host?

New to custom ROMs
Hey all, this is my first experience with a custom rom. First off, thanks for resurrecting my dying Nexus 7! Works like a dream now.
Same question as above, I'm getting notices of updates from SlimKat and Google. I assume I should ignore/disable those - anybody know a good guide for disabling that stuff? I should get the newer SlimKat+F2FS updates direct from the Legolas thread, right?
Second, I've found out that my device is no longer compatible with some stuff - mostly Rovio games. What gives?

Hey , have you convert the slimkat rom to the f2fs partition system?
without that you can not boot it (same on my nexus7).
After converting the rom all is fine and the rom will boot.

Hey I flashed this Rom and and I dunno if its just my tablet or Android 5.0 but for some reason...My GoPro (3+ Black) will not connect to my N10. I have researched it all I cant find out why it wont connect. Im to the point where I feel as if its Android 5.0. I'm runny 4.4.4 on my Note 3 and it works fine...It also works on my G. Nexus runny 4.4.2 and it also works on my iPod...but it will not connect to my N10. Does any the slightest idea as to why? Does anyone on here even own a GoPro and has run into this problem? This issue has happen on this rom and on Team UB rom...so I'm thinking its not the rom but the OS thats not working well. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, i am from Belgium, when i enable 4G it connects, and it works fine, but there some kind of bug.
With 3g, i can get speeds over 700 kb/s, but with 4G, i only get speeds of 20kb/s.
Is this bug known, or is there a solution for it?

I'm using the 2.2 version right now, and i'm almost happy with it. The only thing, i want to add - to activate the battery fast charge. Is it possible?
And the second issue: i have the last CWM installed. And i can't install the 2.3 verison of BlissPop. At the stage of "wiping caches" the tablet reboots, and get stuck in an endless boot process. Can you help me?

At the end i was able to flash the 2.3 version after changing to the latest TWRP. :laugh:

I got stuck on unlocking the bootloader.... (and im not gonna try it again!) when i tried to unlock it (twise) the phone just hang in fastboot mode and none of buttons were responsive,so i couldnt shut it off or restart. Also none of the adb commands worked to restart the fastboot mode or to exit it. So i had to wait for a long time for the battery to fisnish...(since this damn phone has no removable battery)!!
