Hi everyone
see this image to understand imgur.com/d1g1hSz
I would like to know the name of the yellow part and the red part of my phone to search and buy these parts or if there are not a specific names for these parts how should i search for their on youtube and ebay. I also want a video of someone replacing both parts.
Is it possible to replace only one of these parts?
sorry for my bad english
(it's really not spam post, please don't delete it because of the link)
This is a pack you cannot replace only one part you will only find a pack of 2 digitizer + screen glass.
Change both/all.
The red bezel in your photo is a part of the "ASSY CASE-REAR", the back cover when you open your phone to pull the battery/SIM/SD out. (Part Number GH98-26374A)
The yellow bezel is part of the screen assembly and you can't only replace that single part, you have to change display, digitizer and glass, unfortunately it's "all-in-one". (Part Number GH97-14655A)
thank you guys, helped me a lot

Is there any way to get rid of them or to make them transparent?
Something I have tried time and time again to find out. There was a program called Pocket Facelift, which either got rid of them or cloned the today screen and superimposed an image over the top without the lines. I've searched for registry entries, hacks and cracks. Everything. Never been able to find it.
I still wish someone would produce a low memory footprint version of a screen that say the later Nokias and Samsungs have, where all the information about the phone is held in the corners (battery, SMS, signal, etc), leaving the rest of the screen for the picture (without lines).
Cheers

Anton.Valleyman: when you say "low memory", I guess WDA is out of the question
I hadn't seen Facelift before. The page seems to suggest that Facelift may be a replacement Today plugin host:
Today screen scrolling is fully supported. The today screen plugins are resized in order to avoid covering information by the scroll bar.

Resizing Today plugins requires some messy coding or hosting plugins yourself. That might explain how they get rid of the seperator lines - if you host the plugins yourself, you obviously don't have to draw the lines... that's just a theory though!

My unreleased VJEphemeris is entirely skinnable, and I'm trying to design it around a thumb friendly design. I want to use the corners in the way you described... but your idea is a good one, a nice clean full screen today plugin just showing basics, operator logo and a wallpaper is a nice idea...
For the lines, I just suggest you choose a color similar to your background. I use a plain white wallpaper, so easy for me
It might be feasible to do some hairy hacking to subclass the today screen and intercept the line drawing function, but I don't recommend it as an easy solution

does anyone have the following parts:
- buttons at the left screen side: windows, ok, action keys
- volume button at the left side of the device
- the stuff under the cover that holds them together
Olipro's athena needs these so ameo preferred but black will do too. thanks
I have an ameo with blocked mainboard and without the screen, I think that the rest of the parts are there.
I can donate it to you.
Please contact me with shipping details.

You just need to do some cleaning. The answer is here

Yeah...
In my past search I didn't see this post....
When last week I opened my tytn to see the keyboard, I thought how to clean the contacts, but when I saw the white plastic layer I was discouraged (I'm afraid of to line it up after cleaning...).
However I think I'll try!
One question: can I use a drop of contact cleaner in every disk (it is fastest)? Or is better to scratch every disk with... something?
Thank you everybody!

You can try contact cleaner. A very fine emery paper can also be used. The process is a bit "hit and miss" I'm afraid and could take a few tries to get right (which of course means assembling and disassembling a few times. If possible do not completely remove the white layer and peel it back slowly so as not to stretch it. Try also to keep it free from dust and any liquid chemicals you are using.

In effect the problem is that the white label doesn't stick more if contact cleaner goes out of the disk...
The same for dust....
Uff holy patience.........
Good work!!
With a little of patience and the keyboard is like new!
Thanks!!
How do i change my screen glass its all scratched etc can i change it myself or do i need to go to a specialist?
You can replace easily if you know how. Otherwise you can easily damage the screen (I speak from experience).
If i had to change the display, I would have changed everything, because do not know how to separate the glass from the screen, perhaps with hot air, I guess ...
But hey, this is the wrong section, in section "HD Mini Accessories" are already some shared experiences ...
Dear YotaPhone users,
Like all of you I am fascinated by the YotaPhone 2 design. I truly believe it's the best invention that has happened in many years. It makes me sad to see that the present 'mine is bigger than yours' :silly: generation doesn't understand the benefits of an Electronic Paper Display.
Anyway, the YotaPhone reminds of another phone with an E-ink display that Samsung released back in 2009(!) called the Alias 2. One day I thought:"Wouldn't be a great idea to build a slider phone with the YotaPhone 2 hardware and add a second E-ink display as a keyboard with a clear silicone keypad like the Alias 2?". Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances I am not able to build one myself. So I hope it gives inspiration to someone else to make it happen. Go for it and good luck!
Steps to build a YotaPhone slider prototype:
1. Buy a YotaPhone EPD (Electronic Paper Display) spare part at AliExpress: https://bit.ly/2A7z36h
2. Program a fullscreen YotaHub softkeyboard widget like the Clavis keyboard: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...theophrastkeyboards.claviskeyboardfree&hl=en
3. Buy or design a EPD connector splitter to display the YotaBoard ( ) on second EPD when the phone is turned over to the front AMOLED.
4. Ask Liangchen Chen to use his keyboard slider design https://twitter.com/chenliangchen
5. Putting it all together and check if it all works. Yay!
6. Give credit to xda-developers and me
