Issue:Most people including me gets flickering problem from under 50% or even 100% of battery which mostly leads to freezing, reboot, sd card errors and etc..
Cause: im not 100% sure
info by: Beut from android central
1- Battery connector on mainboard
2- Battery cable connector
3- Bad battery
Permanent Fix:
1. Pressing middle of Tablet where battery connector stops flickering for moment.
2. Developer options - "turn off hardware overlays" (also enabling "force GPU rendering" might help)
3. Wiping dalvik cache

Thank you for that but it is hard to read and much scroll on mobile devices."lol"
p.s. WARNING NOTICE ;
Don't advice people for something you never done..If you reconnect battery... as I did on my previous P900, you should warn people to DISCONNECT microSD port as well, because on my previous tab there was power shock to microSD chip on its module board and you can never use again microSD.
So, due that fact, you must warn people to disconnect microSD board due power shock when battery is reconnected to slot again because it is expensive device.
Thread closed - it is very difficult to recommend this to anyone. A collection of possible fixes or not does NOT constitute a solution.
Please use a more standardised and reader-friendly font colour and size in future.

Hi folks!
Has anyone here by chance had an issue with their Hermes Jogwheel? My phone's carefully looked-after and has only ever been dropped twice but for some reason my jogwheel has stopped working.
I tried a hard reset to make sure it wasn't a software thing but no luck with it working again

I have only seen one previous report of a hardware issue with the jog wheel. Not likely a repairable component, but might just need re-seating.
NB also has flashlight on the reverse (does that work??)

Yeah it's strange... The light is fine (tested with the camera flash function)
Just weird that it stopped all of a sudden and can't see as it's a software problem because of the hard reset etc.
I may have a look for a "how to disassemble" guide and see if it's been unseated as you suggested, cheers!
EDIT: For others who may see this and have a similar prob, the guide is here:-

Hello folks.
On my 2nd Nexus 4 device i have a massive battery loss since yesterday.
On this device there is no root since i unboxed it. So kernel and rom couldn't be the problem.
Here is a screenshot of the battery chart:

You may try installing BetterBatterStats and CPU Spy to determine which app(s) drains your battery. Unchecking wifi location in settings/location services will help to lower the battery consumption.

Seems unlikely an app would be able to instantly drain a battery from such a level...Unless of course the battery's levels are not being correctly read... In this case a factory reset might help... If it doesn't, it's probably a hardware defect.
Found this and this with several people complaining about the same problem.. No solution so far, except the suggestion to change the battery...

Okay thanks. I have the same problem like the seconde guy.......
Hi,
does anyone encounter this bootloader exception that has pure red letters (no greens like others) and any combination like Vol - plus home plus power ain't working and other key combination?
I also drained the battery and after plugging in, the bootloader exception just appears with other text but still pure red letters, still no response.
I cannot flash anything because I cannot enter download mode. Is there any way which I can do? Please see below for the reference picture.
(I have posted a new thread since the other thread has access on download mode and everything)

Any NEWS??
I have the same problem, but with i little different error error codes. Phone not responding whatever i press.
Damm, mine did this last night, i guess all contacts and everything is lost now
So, i just got the phone from warranty service and they replaced motherboard, so it means that this was hardware problem.

Hello All,
Sad to report that the display of my mako started dying :crying:

Looks like this is the end of my mako after 6.5 long years :good: I'll always miss this awesome phone :good: It introduced me to the world of android (yes, that was my first android phone) and I learnt a lot about android and learnt about building and maintaining custom ROMs.
Regards,
Nitin
On one of my two N4s, I had an inactive area in the center of the screen. After uploading CARBON-CR-6.1-NOCT-WEEKLY-mako-20180501-1310.zip the screen has been repaired. I was surprised.
Since then I do not change ROM on this phone anymore. I tried to load this ROM on my second N4, with an inactive area at the bottom, but it did not help.
Is it possible to adjust (decrease or increase) the voltage of the touch screen electric current?
P.S.
You can still use a limited range of such a phone after pairing with a BT mouse and/or MyPhoneExplorer.

That's interesting to know that carbon helped you. On my case, it's already running latest version of carbon
Apart from touch screen, the power button is also giving up. I've to let it go...

Do you know the answer to my question from the previous post?
I'm trying to understand why the touch started working.

Hi all,
does anyone now how to teardown the C2?
My C2 is now ~2,5 years old and looks like the battery isn't charging anymore (tested two chargers).
I only found information about E2, Pro etc. but I don't know how to open C2s case. There is no screw.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
Maybe a small update...
It can be opened with a tools like shown in the picture.

Hello, thank you for case open advice! My C2 battery is dead, also. Thinking to replace it. Did you fixed your problem? Got a replacement? And interesting if after the assembly the case stays waterproof?
Hi,
I described the problem to mobvoi... Becasue the warranty had expired (1 month...) they had two suggestions:
- Send in for repair OR
- Get a voucher for a C2+
The repair would be too expensive and the discount too low to have the same watch again with the same bugs... After the experience with the support I bought a Galaxy Watch 4
I think it will not be waterproof anymore... Unless you manage to glue the lid and clock together again very accurately.

Wise choice! I have the Galaxy watch 4 as well. Here's it's forums if needed:
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes and the Watch 4 Classic in 42mm and 46mm sizes. They are powered by the Exynos W920, with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and with Wifi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Models with LTE are also available.

Thanks for the hint... I already removed the restrictions to use all features with non-Samsung phones
