[Help] In trouble after rooting - YU Yureka Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

guyz yesterday i rooted my phone and installed CWM recovery but then phone started lagging and certain games (like Clash of Clan, Gunship Battle etc.) are also crashing, sometime my phone just hangs and says system UI is not working then i have had to reboot my Yureka CM 12. Plz help me solve these issues!
Problem 1: It hangs a lot and black screen appears saying UI is nt responding
Problem 2: I m not able to use Lollipop icons rather than YU stock icons
Problem3: When i move files from internal storage to memory card using third party file explorer (xplore, astro file manager etc.) it says no permission to write in ext. Memory. How can i grant permission to these third party file managers?
Problem 4: ES explorer also stopped working on my YU. When i select a folder to delete or move or copy, it just hangs and says not responding. How can i make it workable? Or suggest me any other better file manager.
These problems were not there before rooting. I followed 'Ultra Noob Friendly' thread posted in YU forums to root and install custom recovery.
Question 1: How can i install Xposed framework in Yureka to use greenify? As it heats a lot!
Question 2: How can i restore stock recovery on Yureka if its recovery problem?
Plz help me, if solution of these problems is already posted, refer me as i couldnt find answer to these, thanks!

If you have problem after installing cwm recovery then first reboot into recovery and wipe cache and dalvic cache and reboot your YU yureka

All your answers will be solved!
Do this thing
Flash SOKP! ( I use TWRP recovery and now its fine and awesome) plus God's kernel r6
Then no force close! And best gaming ( I play asphalt 8 using this)
I don't recommend Xposed and its. Modules they are kinda dangerous but heating will be solved flash SOKP!
That's what I recommend and all problems surely will be solved

For xposed , you need flash a zip via recovery which installs the framework(unofficial arm64) necessary for xposed to work and then the xposed installer.
framework- http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979 (5.1.x)

xposed installer-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 (see in op)
Take a backup before installing.

Try to flash softbrickfix.zip by using adbflashtool for YU

I have an rooted x10a(r23) and Iv been installing apk files by transferring them to my sd card.
Iv been using Astor to install them. Also i have non market apps checked in my settings.
Today i tried to install an apk file using Astro, but it wouldn't let me. it just goes back to an blank screen and then back to the install screen.
Does any one know how to fix this?
Happened to me after I rooted my phone. But not immediately after rooting.I removed all the unnecessary apps and stopped all the third party services using startup cleaner, dunno if that did it, but I am able to install apks again.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App

This point is selected but since today it is not more possible to install apk files.
Installation only direct from the market is possible.
Maybe a bug in the root???
I replaced the rooted R23 through R2BA0024 (not rooted) and have now no problem to install apk files.

Look up apps2sd its custom for 2.2 froyo but there is a work around for earlier versions, research lots before you do anything coz you can mess your phone settings if you don't know what your doing.

Rooted Device Keeps Rebooting...

Hi,
I recently rooted my Galaxy Note 4 (SM-910-C). At first when I was trying to change the Boot Animation I was able to copy files specifically "bootanimation.zip" to the "System/Media" folder using ES Explorer. Now whenever I try to copy that type of file or a "bootsamsung.qmg" file the phone just reboots itself. When the phone restarts and I go back to the folder I find the file is there but only with a size of 0.00 bites. Which means it did not copy correctly. Does anyone know why the phone is suddenly rebooting? Is it possible that the root is corrupted some way? Please advise how I can fix this issue. Thanks.

How do I produce the catalog?
Amplify should be causing the issue even I had same I've cleared the amplify data now I've not timed any wake locks, I would you to do same and try. Also I would suggest you to install Samsung server crash fix module and enable it to check if your still facing the issue.

As the word "Useful" varies user to user. Here are some apps those I always keep on my rooted phone.
Titanium backup:-Helps to backup games+apps even with data. The most needy app as I am Flashaholic.Lol
Es file explorer:-My favorite file manager. You don't need root for normal using. But for advance use(like editing system file, set permission to system files etc) root is needed.
Ad blocker:-Help you to get rid of annoying add on web pages.
Tasker:-Apps for little bit of more advance user.Helps you to automate your device.Such as ,I want to silent my phone when I am school,it automatically does that.
Xposed:-There are several module in Xposed by which U can taste the flavours of such things those are not present on your ROM.There are a long list of modules.Just check it.
Greenify+Amplify+power nap+App oops Xposed:-Battery back up is Bad.Just give it a try.For instruction check here.
Viper4android+Dolby Atmos(optional):-A must apps for music lovers. It comes with its own driver.U can Controll many parameters of music sound.
Kernel adiutor:-Helps you to take control of various Kernel parameters.Just use it with little bit of concern.
Battery calibrator:-Useful apps If battery monitor is showing wrong information.Use it when U flash different Roms like me.
Link2sd:-Helps you to move app over to Sdcard.Smae as Apps2sd but works in different way(by creating link). Don't know if it will work in marshmallow or nougat. As there is now adaptable storage now.
Flashify or Rashr:-Don't have PC all time.Helps you to flash zip or image file without rebooting to recover, including zip file, kernels, boot image, recovery image etc.
Servicely:-Sometime some apps keep running at background and consume battery. This apps helps you to prevent those apps from running in background.
Root call blocker:-If your ROM don't come with call blocker option .This is a useful app.
There are also many apps like Lucky patcher,Wakelock blocker,Rom toolbox,Dumpster,GL tools,Gravity box,Sdfix etc,U can use.
Just make sure what U R doing before using most of those apps.As mishandling some apps may cause brick your phone.

If the stock kernel(coming with ur ROM) supports DT2W then there should be an option in kernel adiutor. If not then then there will be no option. If u want DT2W then u have to use another kernel which supports that.Look into your devices forum.

Which version of Android are you on?
The best way of flashing t.w.r.p is by fastboot.
1)Setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC.
2)Open a command window inside the folder where your TWRP recovery .img file is saved. To do that, “Shift + Right click” on any empty white space inside the folder and then select “Open command window here” from the context menu.
3)Connect your device to the PC, make sure USB debugging is enabled from Developer options.
4)Boot your Lenovo A6000 into Bootloader mode using the command below:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
5)Once your phone boots into bootloader mode, issue the following command to flash TWRP recovery image:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
6)Reboot your phone using the following command:
Code:
fastboot reboot
U can flash T.w.r.p.img by flashify or rashr app available on playstore. There should be an option like"flash/install recovery from SD card".Select the image file from there and flash it.
KitKat 4.4.4

Install button not working!

Well Hello there!
Everything was working fine but then that was the problem because devil was prying its eyes on my phone
Now I can't click on install button when installing apps from apk file. Cancel button is working fine and also installing apps from app store have no issues as well. I have tried installing other apps and on some them install option is working and those are the apps which do not require any permissions. So the apps with any permission access have problem with Install button.
Everything was working fine but the I installed the last app named Network Monitor mini downloaded from other source and this app has a permission "Draw over other app and Modify system settings" maybe something fishy?! and also while I was typing here, Lg keyboard is not working properly like its automatically autocorrects on its own, turns caps, etc. I was hard time while typing here.
Any help? :crying:
Hi, have you tryed to uninstall "Network Monitor mini" or disable it (the background service) before installing something ?
or you can look at this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73405029&postcount=5

Tried but no luck :crying:
I've tried everything I could. Well there were some topics like this that were around 4 year old which caused due to some apps like lux, screen dimmer, etc. but I don't have anything like that and also this keyboard is causing problem a lot like auto typing, cursor jumping somewhere else, etc. Maybe factory reset is only thing left. Thanks anyway :good:
I had the same Problem a few weaks ago.
To fix it i first download the .apk file again. Then i opened a File Manager (for me it's Es File Explorer) went to the Download folder and clicked on the .apk file, the install Button didn't work. Now You have to click on the recent Apps Button in your navbar and switch to another App and directly switch back to the File Explorer, where the Installation windows is still open. Now i could press the install Button.
Hope this works.

Well I did factory reset and the problem was still the same because the first app I installed was ES file explorer and guess what this problem was only occurring in ES file explorer
Everything is working fine when I open any apk file with default file manager. :good:
Thanks bro!
This is happening to me and it's the first time ever. I thought the phone was knackered again. I got into a boot loop when I flash the Magisk 17.0 zip from TWRP (the recommended option to install after DL was not visible). Could not get out of boot loop but was able to boot into TWRP so I just flashed Fulmics again (easiest option for me) and restored some backups and downloaded some APKs. Only one APK would install normally but if I pressed the power button and then woke the phone up again with the power button it would work and the "Install" option would no longer be greyed out.
Does anyone know why this is happening and if there is a permanent fix?
