[Q] Display problem

I like it, but i have a problem, like the display wont start when i press the power button, sometimes i have to press 3, 4 times until it lights up, sometimes it works just fine half a day. same black screen happens when i end an call, so i take the phone from my ear and it is black and i have to press once to shut the display, wich show some dim light, and then again to light up the display. Same black screen with the dim light happend 3 or 4 time in 1 month when i got a call, so i had to press power to shut the display, and that shut also the ringing, and press again to light up the display to be able to press answer to talk. Other than that it works fine. I have never seen anyone posting this problem so i think my LG has a problem and i should sent it to warranty, or is it Windows Phone 7 fault and should wait for the update in march ?

Probably broken.
My unlock button always turns the display on after one press.
Only when I just turned on/off the display one second before it doesn't react (probably OS delay).

Definitely a manufacturing defect. Send it for warranty, or refund/exchange at the place of purchase if you still can, as soon as possible.

[Q] Screen Not Responding to touch

Hi-was wandering if anyone can help. I brought a Samsung Galaxy Note a few days ago and was really pleased untill someone tried ringing me. When I tried to answer the call by pressing the Green Accept Call icon and sliding my finger (as per the instructions) I noticed that the screen didn't respond. The same thing happens when the phone is asleep and I press the home key to bring up the unlock screen to use the phone. I would have press the home screen twice before pressing my finger on the screen for the screen to respond.
The strange thing is I can do all the above if I use the stylus.
This leads me to suspect I may have a setting wrong.........can anyone help or has anyone heard of this?

I do not have a note but there are 2 places in the Galaxy phone where you can set screen sensitivity so I would guess the Note would be similar. One is in the secret code section and to be honest it has been over a year since I played with that, so you will have to look that up. The other was a normal setting menu I think it was in display settings but don't remember now since I have been on a custom rom forever. Google the Galaxy phone touchscreen sensitivity. I do remember this the settings I played with were too sensitive or to hard no in between. Not much help but it is what I recall.

thanks for the advice. I rang up the retailer and described my issues with the mobile and they told me to send it back for a replacement as it is only 3 days old.

[Q] Home button wont work During Call.

I have searched and then made this thread. There were some people with home button issue but None of those were related to my problem.
PHONE MODEL - GT-I9505 ( International version)
I have had my S4 for a couple of months now and I am addicted to flashing. I flash a test lot of new roms.
MY PROBLEM
When i make or I get a call, Once i pick the call and put my phone to the ear and after the proximity sensor turns off the screen i cannot use my home button or powerbutton to wake the screen during call. For example if i want to cut the call During a call. I simply cannot do it. Sometimes the home button will respond, Some times it wont
For the home button to work The other party has to cut the all only when my phone detects that the call has been disconnected it wakes up. Looks like the home button stops functioning ?
I dont know what is happening.
I thought it was the rom issue, But it isnt. I tried two different roms. Did the same behaviour.
Any advice or anything to help me will be appreciated. Is my hardware damaged?
My phone is never dropped and is very new like .

Go to Apps - Settings - My device - Call - Untick Turn off screen during calls :highfive:

I am currently using a G900W8 model Canadian S5, am I am running into issues when waking the device. When I press the power button to wake the device, the capacitive buttons light up, but the screen remains blank. When I swipe the screen, I can hear the unlocking sound, so I know that the touch screen is active and the device is being unlocked.
Based on the research that I have done online, there are a number of people who have encountered this issue with no real solution being put in place. The device is brand new and has never been dropped or scratched. Has anyone found the solution to this problem?

I ended up sending it to my local service centre for repairs. Basically, this involved a complete screen replacement. It did appear to solve the issue, as I have been using the phone for about 2-3 weeks now without any issues.

Galaxy Note 4 Screen Wake Up Problem

Hi I have had my now 4 (UK variant) for 2 months now and have mostly found it to be great. Recently I have suddenly started to notice since issues ranging from the screen not waking up when you press either the power or home button, or they software keyboard doesn't disappear making it impossible to enter my lock code.
What gives?
Anyone else have a similar problem, solutions etc pls?
