Sorry, but there are many apks there that are not really bloatware.
All of the "hubs" are, of course, but others are very useful and some hardware features depend on them, like the SPen.
Kies may not be the best syncing utility, but has saved me many times.

Why buy a smartphone anyway?
You could make a list with varying degrees of importance: the 'absolutely crap' (like, they are loaded, but useless) and 'not so crap', which are not loaded on boot and do have some good use, for instance

For me, YouTube is not bloatware, but I prefer stock browser than Chrome. So I keep youtube app, but unistalled Chrome.

I think you guys are misunderstanding this is software we can remove without breaking our phones I am thankfull for the list

freezing allshare service will break the wifi direct feature. and your phone will not be able to send files . so i guess it's not bloatware ... can someone provide a detailed updated list of what feature each frozen app breaks?

Careful with freezing secphone if you use a bluetooth headset.
Mine was constantly connecting and reconnecting, voice calls were high pitch and weird stuff like that until I unfroze secphone.

[stock][conservative][normal_user]BEST ROM CHOISE FOR i9300 for conservative users

If you are a normal conservative user, who uses his I9300 for daily use, emails, webbrowsing, games, calling, etc ... then you already noticed that all those buggy 'custom' 'leet' ROMs are not a choise for you .
Therefore I created this thread for you - for normal conservative users who cannot afford bug and freezes which are introduced by those '3l337' custom roms and kernels, but still want to get the most performance and responsiveness out of their GS3 i9300 .
So after experimenting with various possibilities, ROMs, kernels, debloating, my choise is as follow :
- staying on the latest STOCK ROM
- rooted
- heavy debloat samsung stuff with NOBLOAT app (later in this post is the list of apps that can be debloated)
- use DISABLE SERVICE app to disable specific services which consume battery/memory
Here is my list of apps that can be debloated without breaking anything crucial, and there is good chance you dont need any of those apps (if yes, you can enable them again later) :

Please read before posting in this thread : this is thread for conservative users who already decided they dont want custom ROMS, this is no a discussion about custom roms, only about stock rom debloating . We are not interested here about your opinion how "cool that or this custom rom is" and advices about "try this leet kernel i have no freezes". You should post that usefull information in the custom rom respective thread .

Too many Apps

So I bought a used Samsung Galaxy S5 and rooted it and have "Titanium Backup Pro" installed made a full backup and see that there are 334 user apps and system data. I have 361 mb free out of 3GB of system ram left,2.84GB free of 12.4GB Internal Media and 9.81GB free on a sd card. How do I know what I can delete out of all this crap that is on here ? The apps on the list are all apps that I have frozen. I have experienced absolutely no system instability, and although freezing some of these apps has removed some functionality, it is functionality I've never used so don't miss.
I chose to freeze rather than delete so that if I disabled the wrong thing, it'd just be a matter of defrosting that individual app rather than having to extract from a downloaded firmware and copy/pasting the app into my system.....
Also bear in mind that this list is based on a 4.4.2 firmware......

What are the apps that you would or do freeze/uninstall from the Sony firmware? Is there anything else beside mine (I might have missed something)?

Are you still able to receive OTA updates after disabling/freezing/uninstalling What's New and/or Support?
I also noticed that you removed FM radio. What was your reason? Personally, I found it easy and simple to use and like the idea of not needing to scour the Play store to find a replacement and potentially deal with ads/in-app purches etc.

Honestly I don't care that much about the OTA as I need to "touch" the system partition in order for Secure Settings (an long un-updated Tasker plugin), but maybe I'll look into that at a point and bring back the OTA's (probably after the Nougat update).
As for the FM Radio, I don't really use it and, if I ever would, I would simply unfreeze it.

I see, so this is a list of apps that are worth removing based on your personal preference, not in general. Your post title could potentially lead to misunderstandings though.

It's quite detailed, and very useful to help determine which apps are irrelevant for you and decide whether to disable/uninstall it. Although it's based on Lollipop firmware, you'll find that most of the apps are still present on later versions.

By the way, I am curious, are there any benefits to disabling the FM radio app (and other similar system apps) if you're not using it anyway? I assume it doesn't run silently in the background as long as you don't launch it? Disabling/removing system apps doesn't free up usable space either, since the system partition size is fixed, so the data partition is unaffected.

I have a detailed personal list of stock google and sony apps, analyzed by decompiling them so i can remove those i don't need. If i have some time i'll share it

Remember: you should uninstall or hide the packages ("pm hide" command, useful on unrooted phones or if you want to quicky recover the "deleted" app). If you simply freeze/disable them they can be started by other apps and services will keep running.

You can disable system apps without root, go to settings > apps > show system apps, tap on the app you want to disable and tap the disable button.
You can't remove them without root.
