Not having the manual controls is a big let down!
Very nice work with the VOLUME. Now it's really good :good:
If you press vol- or vol+
If you tap on the "expand button" on the right
If you tap twice on the left icon, you can set the silent mode time with/without exceptions, including the alarm clock

It's integrated in silent mode, look better at the last screenshot (sorry if not in english): the exceptions are the priority mode. It's the same thing in a different way!

2 questions
1- How to root my Z3C after having android 5.1.1?
2- is it worth to update or should I stay on 5.0.2?
After first boot the apps that were moved to SD card, were missing/broken even after couple of minutes. After second reboot everything was ok.
Settings menu icons have changed: 1, 2, 3, 4.
Recent applications list opens more quickly: 1,5 secons before, instantly now. Even after launching and quitting a game.
Camera: indoor / low light seems about the same.
When WiFi is on, 4G/3G indicator often disappears when calling (when phone switches networks). Because icons (almost) overlap on status bar. Doesn't happen with WiFi off.
Oh god, those status bar icons still haven't got fixed..it's like someone is doing that on purpose. I mean, what's wrong with the stock Android icons? At least they are properly aligned ffs.

1) Create your own rooted firmware with PRFCreator and flash it via recovery. Then flash the same firmware FTF with Flashtool excluding the "system"
2) Yes, if we don't find any big bug in the next few hours...

Yes, I had no hope as well, as if they didn't import API for 5.0.2, I can't see why do it now with 5.1.1

Probably we need another "correction" by @[NUT] in his dualrecovery in order to let the root work properly on 5.1.1
At the moment re-flash the rooted 5.0.2 you had previously

Finally the wait is over. Android 2.3.4 firmware for SGS2 was leaked by ficeto. This reportedly solves the Android OS Battery issue.

XDA Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1159920
Download Link Stock XXKG1 : http://www.multiupload.com/2EMBQMYF4V (via ficeto)
Well I'm installing it right now and will update with initial impressions!
To install via ODIN choose: (Note: This will wipe your Apps but SD Card and Internal Storage Data will remain intact)
Phone - MODEM_I9100XXKG1_REV_02_CL1034110.tar
PDA - CODE_I9100XXKG1_CL349526_REV02_user_low_ship.tar
CSC - GT-I9100-CSC-MULTI-OXAKG1.tar
There's no need to use the .pit file and do not tick mark re-partition.
To Root:
Flash with any CF Root based Kernel
Flash back to Stock KG1 to remove Yellow Triangle
Stock KG1 Kernel Link : http://www.multiupload.com/UNNM2UKPBC (via intratech)
Pass: [email protected]
Edit:
Ok so the Screen On lag is gone when you wake up via Home Button, but still there when you wake up via Power Button.
Google Talk Video support
Android OS eats up considerably less battery.
Will add more changes as I find.

Edit 2:
Well can't say that the Android OS battery hog issue has been totally fixed. Android OS still shows a lot of usage. Android System process on other hand seems to have gotten down.
Battery @ 87% (with Juice Defender running)
Apparently the Android OS Battery issue is a problem caused by Samsungs Drivers which hog the CPU even while the device is in standby mode.

Xposed for 5.1 works perfectly on 5.0.2
Tested myself and is 100% flawless.
No need to clear caches to have a normal boot, no bootloops, not even one FC, no errors at all.
IMPORTANT.
Just do a soft reboot after installing Xposed and modules. Do not make a normal reboot, the first reboot should be a soft one.
That's it.
And do not worry if the system hangs a few seconds after restarting from recovery when you flash Xposed Framework.
Do not turn off the device, wait and it will start to upgrade the apps.
Then do what I already said. Install Xposed the apk, activate modules, soft reboot and enjoy.

And ofcourse ''may be'' is the key phrase. Nothing is sure until is sure. True?
But chances are that it will be there.
And also not everyone will have it, since it will be released per regions | carriers.

Thanks for the Feedback! Figures I lost it anyways (and the Recovery with it) even though I made and flashed a pre-rooted firmware from recovery as always. Whatever happened there. Gonna have to roll back to KK tonight, get Recovery up and running and then finally retry flashing the a newly created pre-rooted FW from my FTF file.
Really quite annoyed at this right now. Could have just OTA`d and the result would have been the same. Hopefully no big Security holes for some time. Not big on wasting several hours, just to get my phone running the way I want it to run.

So I ran the OTA and after it installed, all the apps that I had moved to the SD card were no longer on my homescreens, and I cannot even search for them in the Google Now launcher app. They are still in the app drawer but I have to manually scroll down and find them. I can't just type in their name?? Anyone else have this issue? I am totally stock, no root or anything.
I had something similar. With all apps on the sd card initially being unavailable. After maybe 5 minutes the phone rebooted itself and now all apps appear to have been restored to where they were prior to the update and are once more able to be used

Question, doesn't the contextual header for for you on HTC 10 Venom? I have the 210 dark theme flashed but when I try flashing (via venom hub) the dark contextual header theme nothing changes except for toggle colors to orange. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
contextual header
Hello RequeLine,
I withdrew from the Hub "contextual header" and when I installed it through the recovery, so I stayed on - Android is starting - and does not continue. Any help? I am doing something wrong? Thanks for the reply

You probably flashed before I updated to version 2.1.0.Install dark theme again and again download Header Background in recent for ViperDark 10 2.1.0 .I checked to be working well.
