Xposed for 5.1 works perfectly on 5.0.2
Tested myself and is 100% flawless.
No need to clear caches to have a normal boot, no bootloops, not even one FC, no errors at all.
IMPORTANT.
Just do a soft reboot after installing Xposed and modules. Do not make a normal reboot, the first reboot should be a soft one.
That's it.
And do not worry if the system hangs a few seconds after restarting from recovery when you flash Xposed Framework.
Do not turn off the device, wait and it will start to upgrade the apps.
Then do what I already said. Install Xposed the apk, activate modules, soft reboot and enjoy.

I didn't, trust me on this one.
And ofcourse ''may be'' is the key phrase. Nothing is sure until is sure. True?
But chances are that it will be there.
And also not everyone will have it, since it will be released per regions | carriers.
A magnetic cable in the box would have made things easier

Hi all. I just received this case and it is way heavy.... This post is also picture heavy. I apologize in advance for modem fires.
I am PRO cases when it comes to phones made if glass. So if it doesn't bother you, use it. Also put a tempered glass screen protector on it.

SIMPLE TOOL
This is a easy tool I made the other day. For now you can do simple enough tasks which just save you opening Command Prompt and flashing img’s etc. I do plan on expanding this a little and attempting to make it multi-device compatible. For now enjoy the limited function and let me know how you get on.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Simple stuff, hence the name.
+ The buttons state what the do so you shouldn’t have any issues.

PHONE ISN'T RECOGNISED...
+ Make sure you have your device drivers installed.
++ If you are using Windows 8 then you need to Advanced Reboot and turn of driver signature verification.
+ Is USB Debugging Enabled and Root Access to ADB level, within Developer Options?
PHONE IS BOOTLOOPING...
+ Chances are you have flashed the wrong boot image or one that isn't compatible. This could be because your run a ROM that doesn't support it or that it's plain and simple for the wrong device. Have a check again and make sure you use the right one.
THIS TOOL DON'T DO NOTHING RIGHT...
+ Check to make sure you can run commands and get the phone recognised using the old fashioned command prompt way. Simple adb devices etc. If this works and the tool doesn't then feel free to post. Smooth Scrolling Mod
Reviving of the Smooth Scrolling Mod (previously made by Hammer_Of_The_Gods)
Now for Cataclysm, Euphoria, Pastapop and more
Will update the mod for every new build here
This mod works also on Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and both Nexus 7's
If you want to see this mod on the rom you are using give me the framework.jar, and maybe I will consider it
Download
Make a Nandroid Backup (of system) beforehand
It works on both Dalvik and ART
Explanation: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51114977&postcount=210
Enjoy
Also works on Nexus 4 thanks man, I was noticing lag and thought it was just my device beginning to show it's age, this is awesome

Sorry dude, I used reply and it autoquoted XDA's always done that, kinda annoys me a bit too.
Also, why wouldn't it work? They use almost exactly the same code apart from drivers and maybe some differently sized pngs in systemui, but other than that the software is identical

THX mate great seeing Mahdi getting your treatment regularly now
One question: does flashing a different kernel after the mod affect the mod itself?
For example: I flash Mahdi, then put it on art, then flash your mod but thereafter want to change kernel, is this possible? Or do I have to reflash the mod again after changing kernel?

Ok, maybe there is a little difference in Play Store but I am not sure it's not due to the new material Play Store which was already smother. Anyway scrolling is still a bit glitchy in Play Store and Facebook. I can say it's a big difference if I compare dalvik and ART, but here... Maybe because I am using N4?
Oh, what's wrong with scrolling in Root Explorer? This is actually really smooth
I saw major improvement in Facebook

Hello everyone,
As you know Sony give us a Concept Rom based on Android Marshmallow. It should have been only accessible to 10 000 people, but, Thanks to @Jozinek, @jenkins-84, and @russel5 every possessor of an Xperia Z3 Compact can flash this rom, using Flashtools or using custom recovery.
Among the tons of great things that this rom contains, Sony gives us OTA update. Initially the rom started on version 2058 and everyone could update to 2085 BUT Sony cut, for an unknown reason, the OTA update.
Some people have been able to update their rom BEFORE Sony's update cuting, and this is my request :
Someone having a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact using Sony's Android Concept Marshmallow updated to MRA58K.Z1.2085-somc, rooted or not, with custom kernel or not, please contact me, via this thread, or via PM, so I could try to make an flashable update for everyone stuck to 2053
[NEWS]
Hi there, some people send me, or are uploading their 2085 files. Thanks to them for responding me !
In the next hour I'll be working for the 2085 flashable zip, if all goes well, between today and tomorow, it will be available !
[NEWS 2]
Not enought quick, someone made it before me, so, sorry for those who wanted to help me but jenkins-84 made it ! Will give the link here when he finish his upload ^^

Hey everyone. I have found a Xposed Module that gives you all the featires from Android N...And More!
I have tested this on my Xperia Z2, and should work on all Rooted Xperia Z2 Devices, UB & LB, .487, .570, & .575 firmware. All you will need is any Recovery (TWRP, PHILZ, CWM) and that's it!
How to install?
MOD EDIT: RMOVED
Only download the Android N-ify apk if you already have Xposed framework fully installed! If you already have the framework installed, then don't follow these steps below. Instead, just install Android N-ify apk as normal, apply in Xposed Framwork, and Reboot!
Steps...
1: Install the Xposed installer apk as normal.
2: Reboot into any Recovery and flash the Xposed installer zip.
3: After Reboot, install Android n-ify apk as normal.
4: Apply the Android N-ify module in Xposed Framework app
5: Reboot again and your done!
Note: To have Android L/M/N Vanilla Softkeys, then please download the Xstana app and use that, or apply a Marshmallow theme in your Xperia's Theme Manager.
I will update stable Android N-ify updates for the Z2 to my Mediafire folder, so only use them from my link to ensure fully working ones!
Be sure to hit that Thanks button if this worked for you!

Z2 on 570, UB and deoxed. "System UI unresponsive" on normal boot and safe mode. Had to flash back the Xperia X UI I was using, thankfully my ROM isn't corrupted! I'll try manually moving SystemUI and setting permission.
Tested on FW .575 on my Xperia Z2 D6503 and it does not work... as a matter of fact i doesnt seem to do anything.
contain files are not deodexed. so this might give issue to deodex stock roms i guess.

Hey Brandon, alright I was not sure if it'll work for a deoxed rom. So I tried flashing and moving SystemUI manually (I've done this many times so I know I've set the permissions properly), but SystemUi still doesn't load. Not sure because it's oxed only or what.
I have a D6503 on 570, deoxed with root and SuperUserMod, no Xposed.
Would appreciate a reply, thanks.

So, Brandon, please share with details which files you have modded in system ui exactly to get that amazing result, like a full port of N quicksettings mechanisms... + without deodexing it !
got a little excited when read the title and now fly away with disappointment :crying:
Please stop what you are think you are doing right now
First of all if you're trying to port android development this is not the right thread
And if you're really trying to port something without much development experience then you must test it a lot and with different devices before you say (no problems at all) and ask for help from experienced devs which I really believe this is the case and this is just a big troll
Moderators should really close these threads at once at least until he learn how to do things ?
@Brandon Nel,

I can 100% guarantee that OP will never be able to provide conclusive proof that this works. The screenshot he sent is the easiest trick in the book. All you have to do to change model number is edit the build prop file. Expect OP's next replies to be defensive as opposed to fulfilling the proof we ask for. Guaranteed.

You have to submit a ticket in the xperifix website. What is your firmware version, you will find it in settings/about phone.
Newflasher won't help you, it's for flashing whole firmware files to your phone, nothing to do with drm issues.
Will reinstalling/flashing a whole rom will give me the ability to use the camera again?

Xperifix is Trash. Don't pay for a Essential Thing. The Guy leaved XDA for a good Reason... Janjan fixs Your Device for FREE. We are Android Users, not Apple Sheeps. Don't pay to get a FREE System working!
Donate, but don't pay or use a stupid Windows Programm while You could just do the same without a PC and paying...
So will newflasher work? I want to give a try today
Problem still persists after trying newflash. Still camera can’t focus can’t take pic. I’m doomed.

This is how I handled mine with XZ1 via newsflasher. I was getting no focus and camera button would not work. Check the thread I wrote describing my fix but I used drmfix from @janjan vs storm's xperifix. The result should be the same however.

This is by far the most complicated bootloader unlocking I’ve come across. Worse than lg. Disappointing.

I leaved XDA? When? Hahaha...
Janjan is using my old files. Without me, there wouldn't be any fix for these devices. Wish you good luck finding a fix for Pie, because my old files won't work on Pie. And there will never be a public fix from me anymore.

The result (old fix) is the same, because he is using my files. Hahaha...

I was not 100% sure but it's good that you confirmed. Thank you for your hard work that was offered for free. @sToRm//
Perhaps it's now time to consider alternate ROMs instead of dealing with stock issues after bootloader unlock.
