pls is there any program or what that fix this problem?
i think that im not the only one having that problem.
maybe tweaking build.prob may help
give a try for applying screen protector. not sure about the rain drops, but on every phone i tried, it does make screen less responsive to finger touches.
i had original screen protector and there was no difference
Maybe looking 1 line lower than this thread is would help you to solve the issue.
Many 2.3 official rom users are suffering from this irritating problem and I wonder what do Huawei software engineers do for this in China?
Just bought my S4 two days ago and I noticed screen sensitivity was awful in some games. I tested it playing Dead Trigger and Royal Revolt and I was forced to press multiple times in order for the screen to register one press. Touch was fine in any other apps or when performing different actions. After fiddling with the settings I activated enhanced screen sensitivity for glove use and now games work perfectly. Just wanted to know if anyone else encountered this problem with these or other games. I still don't know if games are poorly optimized, my phone's screen sucks or Samsung's bad touch sensitivity on all I9505.

How does the Note III know you have a finger hovering over the screen, and where it is hovering over the screen? So we are being told the entire screen has a built-in proximity sensor and how does that work? I am waiting for the Galaxy Note 3 and an currently using an S3. The S3 has a proximity sensor but that I believe is only a tiny hole up at the top of the front of the phone - not the whole freaking screen!?!?!?!?
Very confused, must be magic or made by the Gods.... ??? LOL
Anyone can shed any help on this?
I think it does have some sort of prozimity built in the screen.See S pen...you can select without even touching the screen.
A digitizer is a device that creates a small electromagnetic field and then measures disturbances in that field. Thus knowing when your finger touches (disturbs) the screen (and electromagnetic field)
In the Note 2 there is a second digitizer that detects the different way the S Pen nib interacts with a magnetic field at a distance, and thus is able to show where the S Pen is hovering.
In the Note 3 they use similar technology but is now able to detect your finger at a distance instead of just the S Pen nib.
I think I got all that correct, if not... someone will correct me
And, if I am wrong
Must be magic or made by the Gods
Magic to impress your iPhone friends.
I miss this so much, it's like optical "mouse" together with main button on HTC Desire, one of the best features in decades. Seems that last time we could hover over screen was Note 3 and S5. Sad.
Hi
A friend has a NOTE 3 (SM_N9500). She dropped it a broke the screen and then had the whole display replaced. Now after a few months the touch screen now does not respond. SPEN works fine
Any hints about what to look for?
Thanks
Has anyone found a way to adjust the touch sensitivity of the screen like on the older models. You used to be able to adjust it very sensitive to work with gloves. It seems that this screen is a little less sensitive than the S7. I find myself having to double tap a lot of things. Is it there and I am just missing it?
Good Question...but no reply yet
Yes mine is also not sensetive enough, i also have s8 plus and its much more sensetive
S8+ touch sensitivity issue
I am having an S8+ and facing the same sensitivity issue. It's very slow to respond and most of the times take more than one tap to respond. And there are no adjustments found!!

Up. Having the same issue on my S8.
Yeah sometimes I have to tap apps 3-4 times to get them to launch.
Do you all have screen protectors? I have one but I don't want to remove it cause I paid a lot for it.
I also have weak touch sensitivity on my Galaxy S8, I have to tap several times on a certain app to open it, so frustrating, will probably return my device! :/
My S8+ is over sensitive...
Is there any fix for this +
Same issues on my S8. Most time i must push 2 or 3 time to open a app.
