Hello,
I tried flashing my n910g with "Dr.Ketan ROM I N5 Port I Full Theme store support I S6 Edge features L12" ROM.
After flashing, I also flashed the bootloader and modem mentioned by Dr.Ketan. The phone is stuck at the bootscreen with an error seandroid.
RECOVERY BOOTING Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING Set Warrenty Bit. I used cwm recovery before flashing my ROM and my phone was already rooted with cf autoroot before flashing this rom.
I wanted to try this rom in my phone and I'm a noob. Can somebody please help me with this ? It'd be a great favor.
I'm a noob, please help me with the appropriate files/instructions so that I can start using my phone. As of now, my phone is still stuck at the boot screen with that error.

Alright, now that my n910g is stuck with that I tried installing some nameless rom and the screen doesn't really work. I need to use Spen always even to click on the dial button.
Can you suggest any good rom for Note 4 N910g?
I really need to give my phone a fresh start as this will be my first time to flash my phone.
Please help!!
Listen, Dr. Ketan's note 5 port L12 with S6 edge features is based on android 5.1.1 Australian "COH4" baseband version. So first download and install that stock firmware having COH4 baseband version using odin. Here's the link for that: www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/56424/N910GDTU1COH4_N910GXSA1COH4_XSA/
And after installing this, root your phone, then install CWM recovery and install dr. Ketan's L12 version rom which you have downloaded. Your phone will work fine after that.
Baseband version of your phone plays a very important role in determining which rom you can install on your phone. For example if u liked and downloaded a samsung stock modified custom rom that has baseband version say "PQR" and suppose if your phone has baseband version "XYZ" then you cannot install that rom on your phone. To install that rom you will first need to flash the stock rom of PQR baseband version in Odin. To check which baseband version your phone is running, go to (settings >> about phone/device >> baseband version). Look at the last 3 or 4 alphabets.

Did you try my method? Did it work?
Used coh4 baseband which you said. But could not find the proper root file. Please help with the root and cwm files for 910g which work. Then i will try flashing dr.ketan rom
Yes I tried, now I am using the same baseband you have mentioned which is Australian, now the touch doesn't work well but with s pen it works fine. What to do ?>

Downloaded the stock from from sammobile and my phone was able to boot successfully. But the problem is that ever since, I tried flashing twrp recovery to flash dr.ketan rom which did not work. My phone's touch is really not working well. I have enabled touches in developer options and confirm that my s-pen works fine but when I touch the phone, it gets detected 1 cm below where I actually touch. This problem might have been created when I flashed twrp recovery because that was the first time I saw this issue.
Please help how to fix this ?
I just updated my phone to OK1 firmware running on 5.1.1. This si the China variant and not hong kong. I was wondering if there is a working root for this firmware? I've tried the CF auto root of the 4.4.4 version but it sends me into a bootloop. I've searched everywhere but can't find anything. Any help will be appreciated.
I can't root N9100 android 5.1.1 (N9100ZCU1COK1) by root file CF-Auto-Root-trltechn-trlteduoszc-smn9100.zip for android 4.4.4.
Then is there no way to root for that firmware?
anyone? desperately need Gapps on my phone right now...
Hi. I have installed an aurora rom with version 5.1.1 N9100ZCU1COK1 and I'm rooted. But I just kept the root that I had before updating so I didn't use CF-Auto-Root or anything else this time... have you tried kingroot?

If your n4 is sm-n9100, bought from China, you can directly flash TGY n9100 rom, I got my n4 couple days before(SM-N9100, trlteduoszh), original rom is China version: N9100CHC1COK1-5.1.1, then just download TGY rom, N9100ZZH1BOF2, which is the latest TGY rom, android version: 5.0.1. After odin flash, do doubble wipe, then everythings just fine. like the orignial hongkong N9100, of casuse you get the stock google apps.
I got ota information yesterday, tgy rom got update to N9100ZHU1COL2-5.1.1, I'm not sure to do update, cos I'd heard 5.1.1 won't get root for the new "reactivation lock" issue, anyone have experience of root your tgy 5.1.1?
Chainfire has a new autoroot for N9100 5.1.1. You can download it HERE

N9100 only supports B7, it does not support B2 and B4. And this is the reason why you get a weak signal (B7 is high frequency with poor coverage).
Using the custom recovery posted above I managed to get root. just boot in download mode and remove the battery after that, flash twrp recovery from above link with odin (you can make a flashable .tar.md5 yourself or just use this one:
https://mega.nz/#!xNslVYLa!zDQdqxVyam7H2Q8xzvZnyQ7DyhPqy2jgs1TE1fLEJjo
. put the battery back in and boot into recovery, copy the supersu.zip (I used the latest one from this link: https://download.chainfire.eu/1012/SuperSU/SR3-SuperSU-v2.78-SR3-20161103171345.zip?retrieve_file=1 , but you can use the latest one). Flash it and reboot normally. Don't let twrp root your phone (it will ask you to root when you select "reboot system" from recovery, just select don't install root, or something like this).
Note that the above rooting method worked for the latest 5.1.1 firmware (from 10 October 2016) for Hong-Kong, PDA N9100ZHU1CPI3, CSC N9100ZZH1CPI3.
You can download the firmware from here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/102145/N9100ZHU1CPI3_N9100ZZH1CPI3_TGY/
Also, that firmware fixed some rotation issues I had with the previous one.

Hi sanskimost
As recommended by the devs, did you previously updated the Bootloader and Modem to Marshmallow too?
Sorry asking but you didn't stated all the steps you took to flash and that will always bring doubts while supporting issues like yours.
Please be as more detailed as you can ... ok ?
Nice regards and good luck.
.
I'm on marshmallow right now (as I stated above) so I do have the bootloader and modem as marshmallow
These seem to be lollipop based roms. You may need to flash Lollipop modem.

Dear sanskimost
You didn't stated if you had flashed Modem/BL according to devs instructions. The misbehavior you pointed is characteristic from a discordance between firmware and modem. That's why I've asked.
I've used for long time Revolution v5.3 (Lollipop). I've never flashed the MM version as it has several bugs (openly mentioned all over the thread). Even, v6 had his download link removed a day before release.
The only release available of Popwiz is Lollipop.
So, if you have Modem+BL Marshmallow, as you stated, that is the problem.
I'm now running [N5 Port][6.0.1]Thunderbolt N5 Port and a fellow user with SM-G900W8 as you, flashed it too + Stock Kernel (as per my instructions) and reported a flawless experience.
You should try.
Nice regards and good luck.

Hello I am Yohan, newly registered member but an ardent follower of XDA forums and developers since the past one year. XDA has educated me in so many different things and I have enjoyed full freedom on my android devices ever since.
Now am using Samsung's SMJ500F 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and it seems almost impossible to find a working root method for this. Being a powerful device, all the bloatware is lagging down it's performance.
I have tried,
1. ODIN method (both TWRP and custom firmware), Result: Brick.
2. KingRoot (no strategy available).
3. Flashing SuperSU.zip using TWRP, failed. Result: Brick.
I can't even recall all the methods I've tried and the sites I've visited cause there is so many. I have bricked my device so many times, that the service centre guy is like "Here he comes again".
So my question is, has anyone successfully rooted Samsung Galaxy J500F 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and if so please do share it with the community, and if any developer can come up with a pre rooted SMJ500F 6.0.1 firmware, it'll be much appreciated. Hope to see your replies soon.

If using kingroot then just make sure you are connected to wifi or mobile data as you need it for finding strategies. I would prefer TWRP method and then flash SuperSu.zip. It works 100% on all models. What has left me confused is what do you mean by "brick"? Are you able to access download mode after flashing twrp?
Edit:
If you are able to access download mode then flash official firmware via odin fist and then try your luck again. Hope this helps.

Your os is seriously outdated (4.3 JellyBean).
Update it to the latest available stock firmware then flash TWRP v2.8.7
Read the twrp's original thread for more infos.

First page of SEARCH its not hard to find .
https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/forum/2496?query=Philz
st version can be found here:
Quote:
Galaxy Note 3 LTE International
Now: one common recovery for all: hlte
http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition
The below specific variants are no more updated, use hlte common variant
- hltexx
For older bootloader, use versions before 6.13.0
That fails stick with stock rom .

I read the thread but I don't found anything concerning n9006 .really I don't know what to do but I saw that on this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ecovery-twrp-materialized-dark-light-t3153843
Can you read and tell me what do you think about this costume recovery I see that it supported this screen resolution (1080 *1920) like my n9006
Thank
I have N9006 and never used Philz Recovery. Tried once, but didn't worked. As stated just 6 post before (but ppl don't read): "Update to the latest available stock firmware then flash TWRP v2.8.7". So, with Kies or whatever Samsung is using or calling it these days, update your stock firmware to the latest one that they'll serve. Or you can grab the latest stock firmware from SamMobile (to download you'll need an account) and flash it with Odin. Then, with the same Odin, flash TWRP v2.8.7. read more about Odin and flashing. It's not rocket surgery, but it's also very easy to brick your phone. I would atach the Odin and TWRP that I'm using to flash aroma installer roms, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to do that

Bro There is twrp 3.2.1 for n9006 no twrp 2.8.7.0 for n9006 on twrp. me so I continue my research
I believe the sm-n9006 is a China version of the Note 3. Your link is for the sm-n9005 which has a different bootloader.
You should only flash a recovery that is made for the sm-n9006.

Try twrp 2.8.7.0 for note3 N9005. Even if something goes wrong, you can flash twrp 3.2.1 for N9006 to correct it.

My suggestion would be to find a Chinese forum for N9006.As after 50+ posts you are in the same position as post one .
@JJEgan, I don't know for sure which recovery can be flashed since I don't have this particular phone. Also, Philz and CWM have not been updated for ages so I personally would not use either one.
I looked for twrp for the n9006, didn't find it, and would personally stop trying to flashing anything until I knew for sure that a recovery for another phone would work 100% on the n9006. I did some cursory searches and found no official recovery for the n9006.
Likewise .
Rom thread has a few who say they flashed on N9006.
Also that model is often faked MTK.
TWRP 2.8.3 is listed seperate for 9006 on twrp.me. devices Note 3
