[ROOT] Led Moto X 2014 - X 2014 General

I made this apps for the Moto X 2014.
When you get a missed call or a notification the Led will blink until you turn on the screen.
I created also another app to turn on the led when you get a notification but this time the led won't blink.
The steps to make it work are:
1- Install the app and run it.
2- Grant ROOT access.
3- Go to Settings - Accessibility, search the led app and set it to YES.
4- Enjoy.
Download blink led( if you have a notification the phone won't go to deep sleep, the app need to turn on and off the led, NO battery friendly.

Download steady led (battery friendly)

Hope you like it.

Then I think is a problem with xposed.
You are the only one who said that its not working and the only one who said that you have xposed installed.

Works, but only the "normal" LED on Stock 5.1 without Xposed.
Steady LED dont works. Why?

Uninstall blink led-Install Steady LED,go to Settings - Accessibility, search the led app and set it to YES and reboot your phone then the led its working!
Valdelatas,Gracias for apk!

Screen capture for gb

Anyone know of a screen shot app that will work on unrooted gb
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
You can try "screen capture shortcut" in the market. I'm root, but it always worked for.me and never asked for root permitions. It's for non rooted phones. I have an sgs i9000 so I don't know if it will work for your phone.give a try because it's a very good app.

well, I,m' sorry it didn't worked for you. Yiu can only root your device or use the ddms method as mentioned in a link before, wich is quite simple to use and no root required. Just install sdk, update packages and in ask file on tools you'll find ddms, launch it and conect your device in debug mode. There you have an option to capture photos that you can save on your pc. Good luck ;-)

Let's Get Active Display from Moto X Working!

The new active display feature form the Moto X looks like one of the best notification experiences on Android, and I want that. A Moto X dump was posted on Android Central forums the other day and I was able to identify the files that I believe go along with the active display, it is two APKs and two ODEXs. Both APKs fail to install and I'm not quite sure how ODEXs work(but I'm sure someone could explain). So othe files are called:
Code:
Aon.apk
Aon.odex
AonSettings.apk
AonSettings.odex
Let's get this working!
EDIT: Download the four files needed, instead of the whole dump.
Can you please extract the files, so that we don't have to download the complete dump.

Just tried the 2 apks (with odex) in PAC (PA-CM10.1) and tried to launch it via Apex Activities (obviously it won't show up in Settings), and it doesn't even show up.
Not sure if it's because it's odexed, or what.
I didn't expected otherwise, though.

Appreciate trying it out. I wonder if the settings option would enable a flag for it run. Who knows. Probably a dream to have this running on any other device other than the moto x.

Can't install them you have to drop them into /system
I also tried to push the two apks and the .odex files to system, but unfortunately my moto defy with cm10.2 get problems with them. First the systemUI stops working and after a reboot the phone gets into infinit boot loop.
(And yes I know a Motorola Defy does not have a AMOLED screen so it would be counterproductive for battery saving)
I'm going to deodex the apks and upload them later today and it would be great if someone can test it.

MotoX Active Display still looks sexier. But, i respect that developer. They did it pretty fast.
doesnt it need moto framework like motoblur?
+1 that moto active display looks sexier.
Here deodexed versions of the apks.
Download. Push to system folder and give permissions 644
Aon.apk -> http://www.multiupload.nl/9RS01TH8VE
AonSettings.apk -> http://www.multiupload.nl/FHOH9YVVWS

Maybe someone with a blur ROM (at least android 4.2, the Aon.apk gives parsing error on older android versions) can test. Even on other roms testing is needed.

How do I invoke or run the apk from the phone? I'm on a Telus i747m with CM10.1 latest nightly 07/08 and the apks sit there. I would have to look at how to decompile the settings.apk hopefully to find out how they launch the AonSettings.apk.

Did you try to launch jt as an activity from a custom launcher? But I think the best way to do it is indeed modding your settings.apk (I'll try it later and share de results)

I couldn't find the activity from Nova Launcher. However, I'll try using 'aapt' tonight to see if I can list the actions and I'm assuming I should be able to launch it from 'am' in terminal emulator.
Anyone managed to gei it installed? I pushed the apk, set the permissions but not even an bootloop happened. Ideas?

For me 3G/ LTE works fine in V3.0
Only LED control doesn't work well - no option in settings; can't be turned off.

[INFO] Xposed modules that work on my rooted Moto E XT1022

Fellow member,
This is for rooted devices only. You need to install xposed framework for these modules to work.
I've been trying out different xposed modules on my rooted+unlocked XT1022.
There have been a few ones that didn't work as intended, for me at least. They aren't a part of the list below.
Below are a few that have worked pretty well for me. By worked, I mean, their primary functions work.
In alphabetical order
Advanced Power Menu
Android Phone Vibrator
BootManager
Downloads2SD
NotifyClean
PinNotif
XHaloFloatingWindow
Xposed GEL Settings
Xposed Recent Tasks RAM
neXus Navbarz
I've tried about 20+ other modules, including the module packs, but most features didn't work for our device.

Did you install xposed framework apk? After that you need to open the app and click install then reboot phone.
Then after, you need to enable the module in question and reboot again.

No, you don't need to deodex.
1. Open Camera app at least once (if you haven't already), so it can set up its settings. Maybe take a picture too, just to be safe.
2. Download and install Xposed and Xperia Mods from link above.
3. Download 4K + Timeshift zip file. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2786475&stc=1&d=1402194839

7. reboot.
