[Q] Calibrating touch screen.

I recently bricked my phone and flashed my firmware to fix it. I'm now in the lg welcome setup page where it asks your language . I can't press next or any button. It's like the screen is not collaborating . Tap on doesn't work or tapping out. It's an LG G2 D802-20C model and that's what KDZ i used. I flashed with LG flash tool 2014 with type "CDMA" since there is no GSM and CDMA was recommended. . Any suggestions?

After bought I upgrade firmware from V20B to V20F using LG Flash Tool 2014. Ater flash new firmware the phone don't respond for touch. When I tried change laungage and touch example english(us) hi select other language, when touch any one of 3 buttons(arrow back, home, 3 lines) hi display: "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped" and screen is frozen-no access to any phone settings. Phone is completly crazy: when I touch "back button" the phone select 2 diffrent buttons.
Option Recovery Mode(power button&volume down) are not available. The download option are available-I tried lot of times,again,again flash the firmware(ROM) but with negative result. Also I flash to stock ROM with negative result.
No access to any phone settings.
Any idea for resolve it?

Did u tried to update touch firmware ? Maybe it will works for u

You mean non oryginal firmware? No, I don't use any non genuine firmware-maybe it including virus? Maybe it make bigger problem?

Noo i mean uldate touch firmware from the hidden menu

No service: I need some smarts in here!

Problem:
No data service; I cannot call, nor text, nor use mobile data.
Symptoms/info:
Cannot change "Preferred Network Mode"
"Emergency Calls Only"
Network: unknown
Mobile network type: unknown
Service state: Out of service
Baseband version: G900R7WWU2AND8
IMEI: <this hasn't changed>
Phone: Ntelos Galaxy S5
S5 model: G900R7
I'm in an area with good service
A circle with a line through it indicating no internet data access
If I attempt to use the dialer: "Mobile network not available"
If I flash to a miui rom, I get the error: "LTE: ESM-x, EMM-15"
Possible Cause:
This seems to have probably occurred after an in-rom OTA update for the Mokee rom
Attempts so far:
Rebooted
Fiddled with APN/Network settings/preferred networks
Tried other roms
Restored previous build.prop
Restored previous apn setings
Flash stock modem
Restored stock rom using ODIN
Repartitioned with .pit file using ODIN
Used Kies' most recent stock rom
Nothing has helped a smidge. Any insight? I'm not afraid to get technical.

Can you check and show these screenshots:
(1)- open dialer, enter *#0011#
(2)- then Menu > Back, Menu > Key Input > Q0 > wait until MAIN MENU appears, select DEBUG SCREEN > MM INFORMATION.
(3)- then Menu > Back > MM REJECT CAUSE
Please post these 3 screenshots.

Thank you for the reply, but no matter what I enter into the dialer, I get the same "no mobile network" message. After typing in *#0011# the popup window in the attached screenshot appears. I suspect that a window whose menu has a "Back" category was expected to appear, so I was unable to accomplish steps 2 and 3.
I plan to take the phone to an nTelos store today, so maybe they can fix it. I just how they do not care that the knox is tripped

It's fixed!
So I went to store today, and they were baffled. The issues was that my phone was stuck in GSM mode, and refused to become CDMA again. They reset the network on their end, then that didn't fixed it, and said I could try restoring my phone to factory conditions through the back-up icon in the settings menu. Although I have restored it several times, myself, when they did it, it worked. The difference may have been because they had just reset something on their end before doing the restore. Anyway, it works now, and I am happy.

But screen off working well. I updated touch firmware at the hidden menu , I flashed same Rom 5.0.2 v30b and I formated with hard reset. Still not working. Is that a software problem or hardware problem. Should I make root or flash another roms . maybe new screen doesn't support knock on?

I think its because of proximity sensor.

It's working well also. I tested proximity sensor on hidden menu.

Sometimes u have to go into hidden menus and udate touch firmware and itll fix it sometimes

I've used this for my LG G2 802
Go on phone call, type 3845#*XXX# XXX is your model, 802, 801, 805.....
After in the hidden menu, go in Settings, Update Touch firmware, wait 5sec because your touchscreen is inactive, lock the phone and the knock on will work.

I did it already . but it didn't fixed

I am having the same issue. I Replaced the screen (actually this is the second time I replaced it. When I replaced it the first time I did not have the problem) and now knock on does not work any more, but knock off does.
I updated the touch firmware and checked if the proximity sensor works fine (in the hidden menu). I also re-installed dorimanx 10.7 and set it to default, but nothing helped. Anyone has an idea what to try next?

Hidden Menu incomplete

Hello,
I have a LG G2 LS980 and i have a touch screen dead zone problem. I mentalized i buy a new screen to replacement and now i'm wating the new screen.
The problem is i can't try touch screen firmware update because when i enter at the hidden menu, is incomplete, like the image at the attachment. Doesn't appear the settings to go to the update touch screen firmware.
Any idea?

Solved
I resolve the problem (hidden menu) with a program called Shortcut Master (Pro Version), but the touch screnn firmware update doesn't resolve the problem.
