Hi guys,
Sorry I have some major troubles currently, I haven't done any updating or changing roms in awhile since I got this phone so two years ago. Realized I needed to update it as my battery was draining super fast and my phone is slow as hell.
Model # - SM-N9005
Android version - 4.3
Kernel version - 3.4.0-2061029
Trying to flash the omega rom v25.1 with lollipop
This was the steps I used to flash if it helps make the process any easier
-used galaxynote3root method of using CWM to wipe data and then install the zip file
-tried both omega kernel and stock kernel
-After installation and it reboots to the samsung logo with the
Kernel is not seandroid enforcing
set warranty bit: kernel
-I have tried rebooting it however it stays on the seandroid screen
-I have also tried reflashing it multiple times and it eventually got to the samsung logo screen without the kernel is not seandroid msg however it stays on that screen
Any help in direction would be great, also if any links on the instructions would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much in advance.
It says it needs kitkat bootloader to work. Yours still at jb. Just upgrade to official kitkat or lollipop unless you really need a custom rom.

Pit file is not to be flashed unnecessarily. But too late now. Take a look here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2982110
Even it's a leaked firmware it has a pit file to flashed together.

Do you remember your phone csc?. You were trying to flash different size of partition firmware that's why it gave you ext4 size error. I'm driving now so can't google too much. Have you flashed the 16gb pit earlier?.

Oh wait, I was just reading the instructions again, since mine is a 16gb I should just flash it without the pit file but include the ap/BL/csc/cp? ****, earlier I did include the pit file...Btw thanks for helping much appreciated.
Nevermind,, I tried flashing the rom without the Pit file and it still said PIT fail : total sectors (30777344)

If yours is 16gb of course it failed. You were trying to flash firmware for 32gb phone.
Find a HongKong firmware & try again. And try with Kit Kat first.

My GS4 i337 keeps rebooting. I flashed Wicked v10 and everything went well except I had no wifi or data. I also noticed that the model number changed. I then proceeded to flash Wicked v10 and it said it was succesful, but when I started it up it would say safestrap enabled and then when it actually tried to boot up the screen went black and after a while it would vibrate twice and try to boot up. I have the AT&T GS4 (i337). What do I do?
Do a data wipe. Sounds like old user data is interfering with boot. Factory reset/data wipe should fix you up. If not, reflash with a dif cable. No data bc most roms require you to manually enter the apn after flashing. I woumd follow a guide while flashing if you're new at this. Dont mean to imply you are. I always wipe after every new rom flash, can fix a lot of "bugs".

I tried to do a data wipe but it says
E: error opening '/datamedia/media'
E: error: No such file or directory
Also I didn't use a data cable I just flashed it from safestrap recovery. Also I have done multiple factory resets, just doesn't boot. I'm gonna see if I have to do a different rom slot.

Idk much about safestrap as im on a Canadian variant and dont need it. You didnt overwrite your default slot tho did you? Can you boot into stock at all? I have seen a lot of safestrap issue threads and fixes, any luck searching the threads?

Yes I overwrote my stock (Yeah I'm a dumbass I know)
No I can't boot into stock.
I didn't really think it was a safestrap issue but I did look for some threads and found someone with the same problem on a different device though.

Not sure of the implications of this, bc again, i dont use safestrap. Can you use odin yo flash your device back to official stock, and stock recovery. Reroot, reinstall safestrap etc? Might be your best bet. If possible. I wish I could be of more help, but i really am of no use with safestrap. Dont worry, weve all made mistakes, you arent hard bricked so must be recoverable.

Samsung-updates.com has all the stock firmware for all devices. Make sure you read the safestrap faq to ensure you flash a stock compatible with it. I know 4.3 with safestrap is giving ppl fits, may be best to go 4.2.2. Use the firmware archive for older firmwares. I uploaded 4.2.2 to the android section of the thepiratebay.org or thepiratebay.se a month or so ago, as many had requested it.

I9505 works on i377m, dunno about the i377. Gimme a sec, ill see if i can find your mk2. Big difference that kittle m makes. Your bootloader is locked, hence safestrap, mine isn't (i377m). Not sure if the Canadian wilk run on yours, gimme a few minutes and ill see what i can dig up. If it is compatible, you could just use csc changer to set proper carrier. You will also want to lookup and identify your apn, thats what gives data on roms, without it, no data. Proper region stock has proper apn set auto. Back in a few.

These instructions assume you started with MJ6.
First, make sure you can boot into recovery. If not, download and apply the MJ6 recovery.
recovery-mj6.tar.md5
It should apply without error. If not, report the failure.
Download and extract the following files...
mf3-emergency-part-1.tar.md5.7z .....>>>>>MIRROR<<<<<.....
mf3-emergency-part-2.tar.md5.7z .....>>>>>MIRROR<<<<<.....
If you don't already have it, download the mf3-mj9 update file...
update-mf3-mj9.zip
1.Start Odin, connect your phone and boot into Download mode.
2.Flash mf3-emergency-part-1.tar.md5 which contains modem.bin, NON-HLOS.bin and system.img.ext4.
3.The flash of system.img.ext4 WILL FAIL at the end. That's OK.
4.Force Reboot the phone back into Download mode (Voldown+Home+Power) and restart Odin.
5.Flash mf3-emergency-part-2.tar.md5 which contains cache.img.ext4.
6.The flash WILL FAIL at the end. That's OK.
7.Force Reboot the phone back into Download mode (Voldown+Home+Power) and restart Odin.
8.The phone should now reboot to a black screen with the pulsing notification LED.U need to install recovery-mj6.tar.md5 or i337MK2stockRecovery.tar.md5 (also confirmed work with some users) via ODIN first if u stuck between step 6 and 7 since u are on DOWNLOADING MODE....and then force reboot to get u back to recovery if u coming from MK2 by using combo button (VolUp+Home+Power) or use this Odin Force Reboot .tar File to reboot
9.Reboot into recovery mode and choose apply update via adb and open your adb command from computer and use MF3>MK2 update zip files from OP .....HOPE THIS HELP......
Code:
adb sideload update.zip
I recommend sideloading instead of flashing from sdcard because the sdcard method reboots the phone whether the update was successful or not and you lose the error messages.
10.Reboot the phone and let it initialize.
11.You should now have MK2. and last step is to Hit THANK button......

Every time I flash Official rom or custom rom, I always end up with bootloop,. The only custom rom works for my device now is the CM13 unofficial trextexx and CM12 Unofficial. Can somebody help me,,thanks
Boot into recovery mode and wipe CACHE and DALVIK CACHE after you flash the stock rom. Or tick the "NAND ERASE" when flashing via odin
I have the same issue, my device is 910H.
UPDATE:
I tried nand erase all, didn't work

It might be a problem with your bootloader. Flash 5.1.1 bootloader.

Some1 posted allready,u need to restore whit recovery last backup of stock rom?
Or just flash last bootloader COJ5 and install some custom rom(dn5 or whatever)
Solved it by the following:
1-downloaded EFS professional
2-Backed up EFS in twrp, then used EFS professional to format the partition
3-WIPED
4 - installed Stock ROM
IMEI is lost but at least the phone works
1- download pit file http://www.mediafire.com/download/k4thfu9tnx02xjk/2-PIT-files-for-Samsung-+Devices.zip
2- flash pit file (N910C) with Odin 3.09
3- flash Stock rom
4- ENJOY !!

plz>>>>>> Tell me more in details >>> what did you do
try downloading the latest 5.1.1 from sammobile and flash it. Dont use the 5.1.1 which you have downloaded earlier *USE ONLY THE LATEST* because some versions of 5.1.1 lock bootloader and wont let you go to earlier version of 5.1.1 so try with the latest.
Anyone found a fix yet?
I also have this problem and haven't found a fix yet.
I downloaded the latest stock rom "COJ5" 5.1.1 (N910CXXU2COJ5_N910COXA2COJ5_N910CXXU1COJ5_HOME.tar.md5), but I still have a bootloop :crying:
(I have the COJ5 bootloader successfully installed).
PLEASE HELP ASAP
I wish someone provides us with a right solution to this boot loop problem when reverting back to stock rom !!

Wish it were that EASY!!! IT just goes into bootloop again. Have to boot into recovery and clear data to be able to boot again.
Many people have made this mistake, there should be a sticky regarding the issue...

Hi community!
First time posting.
So, my SM-G900I (shipped from Taiwan to Aus) recently started bootlooping so i decided to reflash a stock rom. I initially flashed an XSU version of the G900I stock and then a BRI version of stock. This didnt remove the bootloop. I then installed TWRP and cleared all the necessary caches, formatted data and everything else. still in bootloop.
I installed CM13 in TWRP install menu and it still didnt boot. I've also tried pulling the battery for extended periods of time. I dabbled in terminal commands but it was all a bit above me!
is there anything else i can do or is the phone dead? it can still enter download mode and TWRP. is this a battery problem? in TWRP the battery says it's 80% charged so it seems to hold charge.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers.
Did you try flashing the stock rom and PIT file with ODIN?

I did. 16GB G900I pit file was flashed alongside BL, AP, CP, and CSC files (got directly from Kies).
I am able to install a custom recovery and access those menus but i can't get in to the stock recovery menu.

Thanks for the quick response but there are none there for G900I models. Just a question, how do these differ from manually putting in pit, AP, BL, CP and CSC seperately?

Download update to samfirmwar it is 1 package file home tar md5 put on PDA and flash make sure download correct firmware of your country region
best way : download samsung kies, go to download mode on your phone, connect it to pc, open samsung kies, go to tools->firmware update settings, this will update your phone to latest firmware fixing any software related problem. after that you can root and flash any custom rom.
Gratz

Hi to everyone!!!
I saw that many of you are having issues about the installation of the Vodafone-branded OS. If you want to install it very easily and fast, just follow this guide! You can follow this guide to install any branded OS to your G920F ONLY
WARNING: This procedure will delete all of data, however it wont trip KNOX
1. Download the Vodafone branded OS (here mirror not mine)
2. Download this pit file if your phone is the G920F ONLY
3. Open Odin and put the pit that we downloaded in the pit section and the firmware in the AP selection.
4. Start flashing
5. Voila. It is recommended to wipe the data and cache after flashing the OS to ensure the best performance out of it.
That's it. This pit file is made from @yakapa40 and make sure you press the "Thanks" button to him too.
Don't forget to press the "Thanks" button to me to for letting you know about this trick. I have tested and it works like charm!!!
No extra help will be given from me
Thanks for this PIT file, and if we want to go back to the original pit file do you know where we can find it ?
My version goes like this
1. Unpack G920FXXU3DPB8+Service+firmware.zip (Link)
2. Put the files where they say they should go (AP = AP / BL = BL ect)
3. Press Start
4. Done
This wipes you're storage so backup beforehand!
EDIT: Not sure if this trips KNOX, it shouldn't as its official firmware, but I cannot tell you as I already had KNOX tripped from the beta

It is not harmful to the SIM(Slovenia). It is operating normally. The only restart 10 minutes.
Work normally. I updated by the method as described above. Data is not deleted if you do not want. Root disappears.

Guys one question i used this pit to flash from BTU to ORO firmware , then i did factory reset and flashed Xef without this pit and again did factory reset so i got csc from xef active...After doing ota 6.0.1 i again did factory reset so now everything is clean i dont have root or knox 0x1...My question is do i have to flash some kind of original pit from 6.0.1 xef or i am good to go like this ?? I downloaded the PIT And FW and followed the OP's instructions, worked perfectly. My question is, With tha new security update a while ago, where you can't downgrade your Android OS version. Now that I am on the 6.0.1 from the OPs post, am I able to revert back to my original PIT and Android 5.1.1?
If so, how do I know what PIT is my original one, and to reflash it do I need to follow the OPs instructions, only changing the PIT used and FW used? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Forgot to say, I am on the Meteor Network, in Ireland.
Thank you! Running 6.0.1...Couldn't wait any longer! I'm on 3UK
