http://www.androidcentral.com/att-begins-pushing-out-update-galaxy-s6-and-galaxy-s6-edge
I saw this and checked for an update and it started to download a 173MB file. I've installed it and I really don't notice any changes. It looks to be update OF3 and I'm unsure what the changes are. Kernel is from June 18th if anyone is curious.

Hi,
I have reported this thread to be moved to the right Q & A section where you might be able to get help quickly.
Good luck.
Hi,
To reset your device back to it's official status, flash stock firmware using ODIN.
Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD
Vivek.. download odin, stock recovery tool, and stock firmware from sammobile/ live-samsung update.com... remember last stock firmware was released on 17.4.15.. open odin, flash stock recovery tool, and then flash stock firmware...

I guess the firmwares available at sammobile are not stock ones as i used one and it had several bugs like: it automatically reduce the ringer level to mimimum again and again... plus battery drained fast.. and few others... however recently ehen i flashed the firmware having build date of 17.4.15, every problem disappeared. ..
Actually, all the firmware at sammobile is stock firmware. There were several notable bugs, including the battery drain issue, in early versions of Android 5.0.1 that were fixed in later releases.

We have no choice :crying:
Wow n920c got an update, shocked!!! MM will be released at the end of feb or early March, if sammy nice they will release it day or even before the GS7, but meh it won't happen.
Samsung changed something, i can't install any custom recovery or Kernel, it will panic reboot to Note 5 logo all the time.

Well, that's not a good news. It means we have to wait for custom recoveries to be fixing the problem and I don't know if anyone will be bothered to look into this. Mm is right around the corner and most of the devs have taken a vacation. I'll hold on to the old firmware for now.
There is a workaround, install a bootloader only from previous J5 rom, will allow you to install custom recovery and kernel, verified it now!
http://t.umblr.com/redirect?z=https...zNjViM2I1ZTBkMDcwMTRlYzQxY2Q3MixXeUdCck9Obw== download as a whole and flash only the BL file within odin!
Is it me or this version is slower than previous releases?

I have an unrooted SM-N910G purchased directly from Samsung in Singapore
The last update I received was 5.0.1
N910GDTU1BOC7
3.10.40-5042088
Build LRX22C_N910GDTU1BOF1
I heard that newer versions would be rolled-out, but whenever i have the system check,
it tells me this is the last upgrade.
can someone tell me whether I am doing something wrong?
The roll out for Marshmallow has just recently begun. Some countries have received the update for Marshmallow eariler than some. The speed of the firmware update release depends on where you purchased your device. I am still waiting for the OTA Marshmallow firmware update for my UAE N910C. Just be patient, I'm sure you will get it soon.
No matter what Singapore CSC is selected, all of them got the latest 5.1.1 update in december, 2015:
XSP, MM1

Samsung has started rolling out NOUGAT to the Galaxy J7 Prime in India. The update brings a new UX to the phone along with improved notifications and quick settings as well as Dual Messenger and improved multi-window features.
The Galaxy J7 Prime Nougat update, with firmware version G610FDDU1BQH9, has a file size of 1143.09MB. Samsung has started rolling out the OTA, but if you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for the update manually by heading into Settings, tapping About Device, then selecting Download Updates Manually.
If you want to have a look at the new UX that will appear on the Galaxy J7 Prime after the update is intalled, you can check out all the screenshots of the Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 (2016) .

yes its flashable but stock baseband will not change which is fine.. and your system will be custom not official, you can update it from time to time by installing through ap file, you can only flash the AP file for the rest of it you'll get an error on flashing the firmware, (don't know why i get those error but i guess its because of not the same baseband or csc something) but the system will be good and crisp after flashing
J5 2016 spotted running 7.1.1.They will get latest nougat
It's true. If you have a UK GT-N7105 on EE then there was a new official KitKat firmware released by Samsung and EE. It is described as a "Stability update". The PDA Version is N7105XXSFQA2. I notice the same updated version is also available for other regions, see samdown.com/samsung/GT-N7105
I recently reset my Note II from lineageos to stock and I received the update OTA. I used some vulnerability scanners and can confirm that this KitKat version is not vulnerable to Stagefright, Openssl Heartbleed, FakeID or Masterkey bugs. The kernel is updated and SE Linux policies are updated too. As far as I can tell there are no new features and the firmware image still contains obsolete and unusable apps such as Reader Hub, Music Hub and so on.
