[MOD] Disable End Call Button [2011-04-30]

This mod is based off ihtfp69's work from this thread. All credits go to him.
This mod will disable the end call button while you are on calls. To end calls with this mod you will have to pull down the notification bar and end it from there.
I used the Phone.apk from BAMF 1.6nte since its untouched. Thanks adrynalyne.
This mod is for deodexed ROMs only. Attached is a flashable zip.

This is actually a very clever idea. I do have a tendency to hang up on people with my face =P

Thunderbolt...maybe, I think the peeps here have got some great ideas of what it should say. Thunderbolt will kind of cover a broad general population of us but some of us might prefer a more personal touch. I think just blended into the bottom bar would be great as to make it seem nothing was ever there. But anyway thanks a lot man I don't wanna be the one who looks like he's picky or anything, this wasn't a request just an idea and if seems like a headache to do don't worry about it the mod is still very helpful...now if anyone else would like to chime in we can definitely come up with something clever to suit all tastes.

Yeah, I like the idea of it blending in but if not just make it blank?

one feedback - when you get a call waiting call, this also removes the decline call button so you can't send it straight to voicemail. anyway to change this behavior?

Where can I find the original Nexus 4 golden background?

It's not on any of the system dumps out there, and it's not one of those nexus-7-red-background-changed-to-yellow fakes..
How come the Nexus 10 background is already there and the golden one isn't anywhere?

Nope, it's not that one, it's a similar one (from the Nexus 7), and neither the colors or the forms are exact.
Put the top one in your device as background and compare.

I've been searching for the real background too.... and all the fakes out there just makes it harder.
If people want to make their own by taking other backgrounds and shifting the hue in Photoshop that's fine, but please don't label them as 'Nexus 4' or 'default'.

The 'real' background is very similar to the Nexus 7 one, the one shown in the N4 renders doesn't actually seem to exist.
I've pulled it from my phone's Launcher2.apk and attached it here as proof.

This does seem to be the case. I'm very curious as to why Google would inundate the Web with product photography/renderings of a new phone prominently featuring a wallpaper that doesn't exist. Anyone else wondering about this?

Well, let's ask Google! They might just release it somehow.
Until then, I think that red-to-yellow is the best we'll get.

If you look in themes though ....its not there, so after Halloween it will be gone, can someone find a way to pull it and save ? AH! ,,, they've added a new draw, so sorry ppl. That's so cool ....it will only show on the appropriate holiday, hope we get more. I only have a pumpkin though, no skeleton.

As far as I can tell, Skele only shows up when you have a notification. No notification=pumpkin

HTC have proberbly had fun making this "feature" ?
Really nice !

If you change your system date you can see there's one for Christmas, New Years, and Valentines as well. Unfortunately changing the date back makes them go away...even if you've applied it as your main theme. Anybody able to find a work around?

And when you're playing music, the skeleton is dancing. Pretty cool. Now I love my Dot View even more ?

Yeah, I loved and saw this too! I was a hit at a Halloween party thanks to how cute they were. I wish they created a program for people to create dot view animations. I know some talented people would create some cool stuff

How are you made this screen shot? Is amazing

Used a free program called paint.net It is very cool, with a lot of user developed add-ons for it. Took me about 2 minutes to produce the image!

Mine is fairly standard at the moment. I'll have more of a play with customising during my 3 weeks off work

Gone for a very clean look! Really like how the wallpaper turned out

Hopefully getting mine by the end of the year! Just posting here *gasp* without any pictures so that I can make it to the first page

You can disable apps but not remove them. Kind of a bunmer. I was debating on going 5x as the s7 has the lock feel that Iphones do
