Hey guys after searching a lot on internet and xda i never found any solution for running NFS most wanted on galaxy grand duos my problem was that after closing the game my phone used to hang and i used to remove the battery and switch on the phone even sometime while playing the game the phone used to hang.........But now after doing some tweaks on my phone i m able to run nfs most wanted very smoothly....
here's what i did
1) i am using [ROM] [UNOFFICIAL] [LINARO 4.8.3] [DUAL-SIM] [APP2SD] CyanogenMod 11 [Update 20140813] here's the link >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-grand-duos/development/rom-cyanogenmod-11-t2827007
2) i installed an evolution kernal v1.8.1 here's the link >>>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2564504 this kernal can overclock the CPU to 1600mhz
3) after that i have enabled developer options and tweaked the performance and overclocked the CPU to 1600mhz and in memory management option "Allow purging of assets" see the screenshot
4) I installed Ram manager pro and set its option to hard multitasking see the screenshot
5) I have also used GL to SD to move the game data to SD card (my SD card is class 10 sandisk) however it is not necessary even if the game is in phone memory it runs pretty well..
6) DONE :good: NFS MostWanted is running soo smoothly and no crashes at all (it is recommended to close the mobile data while playing the game however its not necessary) i played it for 4-5 hrs till now and reached till MostWanted 7
Thanks to the respective developers for their Rom's, kernals and Mods......:good:
Cool !!!! Once run antuntu benchmarks ........wanna see the score after ur tweaking
Completed NFS most wanted smoothly by doing above tweaks
Hey guys i have now completed NFS most wanted smoothly see screenshot>>>
if u are a fan of NFS MW then u must definitely follow the tweaks i mentioned in above post
I have enjoyed a lot playing NFS MW yipeeeee......:laugh:

This is the wrong section, Osprey is Moto G (1st Gen)
Edit: Sorry you are correct Osprey is indeed our Gen3,
1st Gen is 'Falcon,' 2nd Gen is 'Titan' and 3rd Gen is 'Osprey.'
thanxs for you
Can any developer take a look and get a good start in kernel development. Back up is good by default stock kernel and stock rom btw.. its giving 7:15-7:20hrs of SOT everyday (HSPA & WiFi). Wondering whether hotplug could improve further to 8hrs sot in a single charge

Thank you soo much for considering my request
I attempted myself for compiling as i had no response from anyone whom i tagged. Succeeded building kernel, booted fine with all 18 modules. But for some reason WiFi couldn't Turn_ON even though i was able to compile prima/pronto Wlan modules and strip it for flashing. Did numerous attempts still didn't success. On top i am running a 10 years old Pentium D processor which is heck slow takes me 3:30hrs to complete compiling one build of kernel.
I am looking forward for your build as i remember your kernel for 1st gen was doing great. And thank you again for responding and considering to my tag
Chipset : msm8916
Wlan Chipset: Pronto
I have a YD206, and it burns almost all the time, it's always uncomfortable to hold despite on mere 5 mins of web browsing. Battery usage always shows Display as the culprit, but that's not what appears to be the cause.
The only fix was to install a kernel manager and underclock the device to 1574 Mhz, to keep the temperatures under check. Just as I was strolling on the Internet and stumbled upon a link to 4pda.ru. However, a dev has forged a kernel with various CPU governors. Here's the link:
https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=797643&st=560
I request anyone here who speaks Russian or is acquainted with the site, to share the information and the kernel so we may also benefit from the rare development on Yotaphone.
Yes it's the old Domnescu's kernel, but it's only for RU Lollipop .134 version. We are waiting that he compiles the one for Marshmallow and I will put it in the guide.
Thank you for the update. Development is extremely rare on this device and custom kernel is definitely a step ahead in controlling system level events of the device, usually not possible through the OS. For example the device could benefit from Undervolting, bringing down temperature and enhancing battery life.
Please do share whenever possible.
Thanks.

I tried no frills CPU Control to underclock CPU but any of versions from GP not recognises root... I am rooted so what góra wrong?

NoFrills does not recognize root. Please try SetCPU, it further offers you the option to assign event based profiles (different CPU frequency tables and governor based on screen state, charge state). It certainly works on Marshmallow 6.0.1. However it's a fix, not a solution, it needs to be implemented through the kernel.
To whom it may interest, I'll attach here the Domnescu's Kernel 1.07 to be used WITH LOLLIPOP RU 134 ONLY. It has multiple governors, schedulers, more files' type support. By the way I read nothing about UV, so I suppose it is not supported in this version.
The .zip with a longer name must be extracted and flashed using fastboot, the other .zip file with a shorter name can be flashed using TWRP or sideloaded.

Thank you for sharing! I'm sure people will find its use as this could be a way to associate different governors with the recent Marshmallow kernel. I'm not sure whether Yota has released the sources for Kernel for Marshmallow. If they have, then we can expect some development soon, else, the longer it takes, the sooner the device would be lost into oblivion.

I really hate the Benchmarks, but (All test were made on Poison v2.3 ROM):
1st test with Antutu:
2nd test (Compared than Xiaomi Mi Max *Same SoC*):
CPU Test (Geekbench):
Compute Test:
Drivers for msm8994 + adreno 430 are apparently compatible with our LG G4 msm8992 + Adreno 418.
Vulkan performance is far behind GLES 3.1, but it is a perfect test machine for vulkan development. Performance in 3DMark: GLES3.1 / Vulkan = 833 / 631.

- Flash with TWRP or similar.
- Tested with V29A only.
- It contains just bare minimum for Vulkan to work, so nothing else should be broken, hopefully.
- Original files come from https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/mod-adreno-vulkan-drivers-snapdragon-t3555141 and it is just 2 files renamed msm8994 -> msm8992.
I try it, DevCheck show vulkan support:yes but apps from play store stops to install with some error code so I reflash back AICP firmware to cancel vulkan zip.
Wow, 1 post? Has nobody tried this? Please leave a post if you have so others can benefit or diagnose issues. I tried on my G4 VS986 running Lineage 15.1 Oreo and now I can't install apps from Playstore or apk files. Any idea why this would affect app installs?
Turns out it wasn't the driver causing the install problems. It was Magisk and I resolved the issue. The drivers work and I was even able to tweak them and made an update. I'm still testing but so far I have increased compatibility and performance. I'll post a download once I am satisfied with it.

Have you noticed any improvements in performance? With which app or game did you test them? Thank you

I would be curious to try them with the mame32, Outrun does not have good performances. Whenever you want, I'm ready to test them
Been running this for a few weeks now on my h811 with AOSCP 4.2 and 20i. I've been running this with Ark mobile and it works really well aside from the fact that the phone overheats but that's nothing to do with the drivers themselves. The game runs very smooth frames per second are a little low but that's to be expected. Thank you very much for these drivers
