I could only find that the exclamation mark on my wifi connections is now gone after the upgrade. Anyone found any other bug fixes/ improvements?

The only suggestion I would be able to give is to upload it to dropbox, from there you could access it from a computer.

Is it a full firmware file around 100mb or just the smaller update?
It is a smaller file which is 12mb

Shouldn't it be "sojua"?
Edit: sorry just saw the other post... the wrong update was pushed. Still waiting for the right one.

Nope, the above file is for i9023. For our version. (See subject line) it should be a sojua file.

But if he got it ota how is that incorrect?

Because Google made a mistake... it happens.

It's been out for several days now. Look at the stickied threads.
Oh wow thanks... I had subscribed to this thread only and didn't see any updates.
Cheers man!

It was publicly announced by vzw this morning.

So I updated with the OTA and on a hunch decided to check write protection. It's still off. I'm not sure what the implications are but I can't imagine they'd be bad.
I'm disappointed we don't have the transparent status bar or the white theme.
Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
Can someone on stock 4.2 please grab the stock install.recovery.sh from the system/etc folder for me? Much obliged.

That's what I meant. It makes the email soak test participants received from Motorola last night look pretty silly.

Blah. You're rooted too with a modified file. The update is going to fail until you get that restored. Need the unmodified file. My girlfriend's wasn't rooted so hers went through fine. Mine is stuck til I get that file or get home after work to restore the file.

I could but the file is larger than my mediafire account will allow me to share. Regardless, anyone that rooted is going to need to restore this file.

This is the guide that got me started. For flashing I have always used Method 2. Using the flash-all.bat script in Method 1 seems to fail a lot of the time.

Flash the individual img files in fastboot, enable oem unlock in developer options and then unlock the bootloader before the flash.
There are also changes in the system.img, recovery.img, and boot.img files - file sizes are larger then MMB29X.. Flashing now..

extract all images and flash every images separately using fastboot commands.
Does anyone who flashed this noticed if there was an improvement in the radio performance?
I'm not sure if it is placebo or not, but in the region that I live is unstable to get signal from my carrier, but after flashing this new build today seems more stable than before, because I didn't lose signal since I booted the phone after the update.
I felt that on N preview too when I tested, but I didn't keep it because of other bugs.

It's the pixel build.prop . What I can't remember is if the "P" is capitalized in the build.prop for for 6p. I modified it for the Google assistant and now I want to change it back.
Fyi, yes I know it is a very minor and ignorant thing that I am asking. But, I don't know the answer so I figured I would ask XDA
