Well after updating to 5.0 there are many problems. The worst one is the notification access auto disabled after rebooting the phone. I give the notification access to CM Locker and after I reboot, I need to give it again. Is there anything I can do to stop this thing?

Try reconfiguring the status bar within the Android settings: Settings -> Notification Drawer -> Show power widget. If this option is not ticked, enable it. If it is, disable it, reboot and then reenable it. Does it show now?

Thr Is No Notification Drawer Option In Settings.
This is correct - this option is not available on your version of Android, my fault. In this case I have no solution for you. Reinstalling the ROM solves your problem, you can backup your call history, your SMS, MMS, contacts etc. via MyBackup Root. This will make sure that you do not loose any data. The backup is compatible to newer versions of Android too.

Use titanium backup.

see this site
http://www.enfeuman.com/2011/05/19/how-to-hide-notification-bar-on-android-phones/
and do the reverse procedure in order to make appear instead of hiding the bar
or else install a third party software like this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...EsImRlLmo0dmVsaW4ubm90aWZpY2F0aW9uVG9nZ2xlIl0.
in my opinion it is the best
Best to re-brush firmware.
No status bar after Full Screen activated with Pie
I had this problem after I added Pie to my quick setting panel and then selected it. Finally figured out what happened. To get the status bar back I held down the power button and selected Full Screen (Pie), which switches from Enable/Disable.
I'm using Paranoid Android based on 4.2.2 with Samsung GS3.
I just realized that since upgrading to 4.2.1, I can now toggle GPS on and off directly from my Power Toggles widget.
Previously, it would take me to Location Settings where I would have to enable GPS (been like this for third party apps since Android 2.x or thereabouts). Confirmed it's not some trickery on the part of the widget by installing the same widget on a different device with a lower Android (4.0.4) and on that device, pressing toggle in Power Toggles still takes me to Location Settings and does not toggle GPS directly.
Anyone else notice this ?
Also, I am not referring to the Power Control widget that comes with stock android, as that is built into system and always allowed direct toggling of GPS. I am referring to a third party app downloaded from Play Store.
Got my N4 yesterday and it came loaded with 4.2 (no need for an update out of the box), but I haven't noticed the activity you were describing. Just tested 3 times while checking running services and status in Settings.

This happened after update from 4.2 to 4.2.1 - do you have 4.2.1 ?

It's because of an update of Power Toogles app, not related to OTA at all:
Code:
*Fixed Notification icon picker crash issues, sorry for this.
Added screen rotation lock toggle.
GPS 1-click in some cases
Fixed some image manipulation bugs which was causing pixeled icons
1-click airplane mode for rooted android 4.2 (if installed as system app)
Few minor UI fixes
OIC. no 4.2.1 for me yet. Tried to force it a couple times, but nothing.

I have used multiple different CM12.1 ROMs and was curious if I was missing a setting or something
Basically let’s say I get an email on my gmail. The notification shows in my status bar and the LED flashes
Let’s say after about 15min and I haven’t checked my phone the notification disappears from the status bar as well as the LED notification
This is occurring with multiple apps
Is there a setting that turns off notifications like this after a certain amount of time?
I looked everywhere and can’t find anything. This caused me to not notice an important email on my phone
I always figured until the actual notification or content gets acknowledged that the notification would remain
Any help is welcomed
If you stop the app, or it gets killed somehow. The notification will go away and only come back when the app has started again. Happens to me all the time with whatsapp, because i forget and clear my recent apps.

Well in my cause a recent example is from today. I got an email at 10am but didnt turn on my screen or anything. By 10:30 the notification is gone from the notification drawer
Gmail isnt blocked or force closed by any program in my device such as green power or greenify
Notifications on apps like whatsapp, gmail etc, are very unreliable when the the screen has been off a while. We have the same problem with the Le Max 2 in our house.
Anybody experiencing the same?
No problem here at the moment.

Do you use greenify? That tends to sleep apps, there's an option to keep notifications on so you can get them still. Seems like probably another issue though.

I'm suffering exactly the same issue. When I receive any push message from Hangout or Whatsapp the phone does not play any notification sound, even though when I turn on the screen I can see the notification on the lockscreen and on the notification bar if I unlock by fingerprint.
This morning I realized that if you plug in headphones the notification message sound will get through.... quite weird....
It looks to me we will have to wait for the following OTA and see if it gets fixed. By the way my phone is Chinese/EU version.
Problem fixed easily:
to to the phone's manager/ power saving management, then the lock screen app protection, you need to set those apps 'protected' , so when the screen is off, they are still protected in the background. you may also want to check the align wake up which is another power saving feature. basically, you need to let any apps you want to have notification stay 'protected' when the phone is sleeping. Make sure also check under setting/ notification management, to enable those apps......
having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to turn off peek on apps. I have gone through the settings and found nothing other than disabling notifications completely. I read some stuff on other sites talking about enabling something called UI tuner in Android N, but the method they say to use does not seem to work on the V20. Can anyone point me in the right direction to these settings?
I don't know how you get them in the first place. I don't get them

I'm not sure what you mean by peek notifications but you can swipe left when a notification shows up and hit the setting icon to disable notifications
if you go settings/apps go to the app you want to turn off s turn show silently on
it doesn't work like on marshmallow or at least on a samsung device.
it basically disables peek vibrate and tone..but you still get the notification on your 2nd screen or notificacion bar..pretty stupid if u ask me
Anyone figure this out yet? On the note 7 you were able to disable peek but still have your phone ring or vibrate... This phone you either have peek or disable everything grrrr..... Help anyone it's suppose to be an Android 7 feature but it's not present on this phone LG v20
