Best Stereo Headset for Kaiser

Anyone used any BT A2DP headsets with Kaiser that run without any skipping and such? If so please give make and model. Likewise anyone with ones that are not very good with Kaiser please notate here as well. Am looking to buy some but want to ensure they are compatible.
Thanks,
endertaker
i would like the answer to this also...
my nokia hs-12W works w/o skipping
The Jabra 620s
i think the Jabra 620s is the best i know it is big but the standby and batteri time is a big + after updating the firmware it even better no need for any tweaks, even if you want to use microsofts voice command to make call og starting any apps
I have no problems with my Plantronics 590a.
can yo use next-track buttons from jabra with any software?
sound quality on my motorola ht820's is great and ive been listening to some really long mp3's on it too (~30mins) with no skipping or anything - only thing that really narks me is that i cant get the damn things to work if i turn wifi on on my handset - ASDF!!"!!! (i even sent my unit back because i thought this was a hardware fault - turns out its just bluetooth not playing nicely with wifi - im still skeptical)
The Jabra 620s
it works with Audio manager and Media player

Hi,
do you tried also a buttom to call with voice command application or a phone call ?
I've a HTC S100 and the sound is well but it's very difficult to start a voice commande or to recall last call because seem that the function "hand free" sometime is lose.
Sorry for my poor English !

Motorola S9
I love the Motorola s9
small in your ears, long battery life,
and it pairs with two devices at the same time, for ex. your phone and your iPod..( i use the BT adapter for ipod from iMuffs MA110)
mini usb charger..
the only think i don't like is the the phone plays only on the left (not stereo)

Two questions!....
. The volume keys in the jabra... do they modify the volume of the kaiser?, or only internal one?
. Can you use the kaiser charger for this headset?, is it miniUsb standar?
Thanks!
My vote is for the Lubix UBHS-NC1, no skipping, full controls on headset (even fast forward and rewing) and looks cool (hangs around your neck when not in use.
My HP iPAQ bluetooth headset works fine as well.

QFT, Motorola S9 has performed well, all button functions seem to work properly & works & sounds great for playing audio off a micro SD. Just make sure the volume is up on the device to avoid background static from too low input volume.

Headphone control - volume and play/pause in iPhone compatible headsets

Hello.
I have a pair of Klipsch S4i with volume+play/pause control. How do I get this to work uniformly in the Nexus one? I'm using Mortplayer to listen to Audiobook, and native Music or MixZing to listen to music. Right now, the buttons do nothing for these apps.
Please help. Thank you.
I would also like to know this as well. I am considering picking up the Klipsch S4 but if the buttons work on the N1, I'll pick up the S4i.
Thanks
Would be great if Tune WiKi or a similar music app could use the volume up\down press from the in-line 3GS remote to change the volume.
Cheers,
M

[Q] Head phones with mic

Hey people. Thanks for all info, been reading about the defy here for some time. Got one now and I love it. I had a few smartphones before and this is by far the one I would stick to forever if I had to.
So, my question is: Are there any good head phones (in-ear plugs, with mic and maybe even music controlers) avaliable, and that I can be certain to be compatible with the Defy? Or could I just buy any that works fine with other Android or Motorola devices? Motorola is not sold in Sweden where I live, so it's not like I can check out any stores IRL here...
With my Xperia x20 mini, exacly what I described came along with the phone. Too bad that you just got these normal plugs with the defy. Cos there is just no way I would use those. As of now I stick to my old head phones but I'd love the mic function with my In-ear plugs.
Thanks for any help!
Ekholm
Ok, so I found this site:
thinkmotoroladefy.com/wiredheadsets.html
and it's all looking good, except for the part that they are a bit low-priced. I'm looking for high quality ones. I.e my current head phones was about 90 USD.
For information, iphone handsfree works fine
Thanks!
By chance, does anyone know if "Klipsch Image S4i" would work? they seams to be perfect! Volume, track fwd bwd and play...
I got one of these a few months ago, works fine with my HTC Desire. Not the best headphones in the world, but more than capable of handling a bus ride. You can unplug the headphones, clip on a small plastic hook and use it as an in-ear Bluetooth headset too. Two birds with one stone
I can get around 10 hours out of them between charges.
Thanks, it seams to be mono, right? Mono doesnt sound too thrilling...
If you use power amp you can set it up to use the controls on headphones to start and stop music, instead of calling the last number you called. It will work on the lock screen too.
This was the only way of getting it to work i found for the defy and i tried about 10 different headphones with in-line controls. Bluetooth stereo sets like the one above with controls seem to work fine for music however, ive got a sony bluetooth set and the controls worked right away on the standard media player.

Hi everybody I'm new,
Does anyone can confirm this pinout for Defy's jack 3.5mm?
1. Tip - Left audio
2. Ring - Right audio
3. Ring - Ground
4. Sleeve - Mic
or this used in most mobiles:

I use Razer Moray+™ they have no remote function so you have to answer the call on the phone. But you have a mic and the work good for musik and phone calls.
anyone got an update for this, still looking for ear buds with a mic.
Klipsch Pro Media set(based on the S4i but a bit better build for traveling etc).
Awesome set up with defy. The S5i rugged set is also great as they are moisture proof and very overbuilt.

4. Ring - M+
(measured with a multimeter - hope this helps)
Thx,
Yeah, exactly as you wrote.
I remade cheap handset with remote (from eg. www.ebay.com).
It works with any headphones
I used my original headset on a iphone before. So I assume that every headset that works on the iphone should also work on the defy.

I wonder if Sony Ericsson's headsets work. These seem pretty good:
goo.gl/TquJQ
goo.gl/eQc9W
Would be good if they work.
BTW, I tried Samsung Galaxy SL's Stereo In ear handsfree and the sound quality was just awesome! Might get myself one of those!!
I've tried the iPhone standard headphones and sound works but Mic and controls don't. There is a pair of sennheiser mm50 Nokia. Which will work fine. Ordering one shortly.
Hi
I can confirm that at least not all iphone headset work the defy, even if the pinout is identical. I tried the Sennheiser MM70i and they don't work!
I soldered the mic of the standard Headset to the MM70 and now im happy,
but definitely nothing i can recommend
greetings

[Q] Mono output through 3.5mm headphones?

hi all
I know you can buy adapters for 3.5mm headphones to combine the left and right stereo into a combined mono output for both ear buds.
...surely, there must be some software for Android that can do this for me without an adapter? Work are happy for me to listen to music but require me to keep an ear free to hear colleague questions or calls - but with one headphone, I lose half the stereo.
Anyway of making both channels go into one - without the need for an adapter?
It seems to be a known issue. I agree that the accessibility options in Android are lacking and i hope you get this soon.

Thanks for the link mate; I trawled Google before posting this as I couldn't find an answer anywhere. Evidently, I didn't look hard enough.
I've sent an email to the creators of PowerAMP for Android; apparently their next release will have a balance feature and it'd be nice if they solved the problem with a 'mono' button too...
An option would be to use a bluetooth headset and if your phone is a2dp then download one of the mono bluetooth apps from the market to use it to stream music.
Understand you asked for the wired but not everyone is aware of the other options they may have.

iPod Headset to Android?

Hey Devs,
So I go this SteelSeries Siberia head set thats said to only work with iPods/iPads/iPhones, and i would really like to use it with me xperia x10.
Problem is... the music coming from the android with this headset sounded horrible! (Tried it on an iPod, sounded amazing...)
Just wondering if there are apps or hardware that can convert this awesome headset to be compatible with my X10.
Theres also a volume control/microphone too on the Siberia, but for now, i'd really like the sound to work first.
Phone:
X10i
v2.3.3
BL Unlocked
Music app:
PlayerPro
Headset:

Cheers,
