Hello XDA,
I already tried a lot to get my Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo back to work, but everything fails
Problem: My Galaxy S3 Neo won't boot - Its ALWAYS starting to ODIN Mode
Recovery Mode is not accessible, its always going to ODIN Mode.
I already tried to flash some images with odin, but everytime ODIN 3.10.6 says "successfull" - I actually doesn't help - still booting always to ODIN Mode
I tried this:
I9301IXCUANJ4_I9301IDBTANF2_I9301IXXUANF2_HOME.tar.md5
I9301IXXUANH1_I9301IDBTANF2_I9301IXXUANF2_HOME.tar.md5
I9301IXXUANI1_I9301IDTMANI1_I9301IXXUANI2_HOME.tar.md5
I9301IXXUANL1_I9301IOXAUANL1_I9301IXXUANI2_HOME.tar.md5
I already tried to use this debrick tutorial from XDA, but nothing changed:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-neo/help/how-to-unbrick-t2911301
Tried this too, doesn't work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...overy-t-r-p-samsung-galaxy-s3-neo-gt-t2906840
More Facts:
I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro x64
Samsung Kies and USB Drivers are installed and Kies ist completly closed
I'm using the original Samsung Micro USB Cable
Can someone help? I'm running out of ideas

Odin will give you bootloop after you flash the stock rom! You have just do wipe everything (data/factory reset and cache) before the first boot so after you flashed the stock just go into the stock recovery (home button+power button+ volume up) and go in the recovery and wipe everything and thats it
EDIT: Try this latest stock firmware and install it via ODIN http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/48157/I9301IXCUAOF1_I9301IOXXAOF1_XEH/
And install ODIN 3.07 http://www.mediafire.com/download/o5v9h66bvo5fzj0/GT-I9301I.zip
and do you have the GT-I9301I or the GT-I9300I ?
Hello @German_Developer
Greetings from FRANKFURT AM MAIN in Germany
Actually the problem of Boot Loop is still there. After flashing the stock rom with ODIN, the Galaxy S3 starts to reboot - should I stop this reboot or uncheck reboot option in ODIN 3.6.10 ?
I think the biggest problem ist, that I can't open the recovery menu, everytime I push "home button+power button+ volume up" the S3 Neo starts with message on Bootscreen "Recovery Booting" in text color blue.
After this message the Screen turns black, the next thing I see is ODIN Mode again "Could not do normal boot"
I stop pushing the power button after the Boot Logo appears, but Volume up and home button I'm still holding --> ODIN Screen
If I'm still holding the power button + home button + volume up permanently, the S3 shows me the ODIN Pictore for round about 1 sec, then its reboot again.
Is there any other way to get into the recovery Mode?
For Information, I tried some other ways which you can read here

I know the download speed is just to slow
Do you have the GT-I9301I or GT-I9300I
Did you had the 4.4.4 or 4.4.2 ?
Because this is very important!
If you have the GT-I9300I than try this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_sN0ecURN4

I'm sure, that is a GT-I9301I cause I can see it behind the batterie
I don't know 4.4.4 or 4.4.2 - I've got this phone already broken from my workmate to repair it as a favour

so you dont know how and what did it got to the bootloop? The problem of it is that booting because it booted you every time into odin mode if the phone crashed or got into the water than you cant do much more because it is than a hardware problem and not software

Actually I think too thats a hardware problem. I don't know what happend to this phone before (I reckon that the little daugther of my colleague dropped the phone). So, but we can't solve hardware problems with software solution - it isn't even possible.
@German_Developer - Any last ideas we can try? If not, we did everything possible on software-side - I will give him his phone back as unrepairable.
Thank you, @German_Developer

Yes so if the crash got it to the bootloop you cant do anything because something on the mainbord is broken or not working, we did every solution for this problem on the software side but nothing this is a harware problem and yes so the issue has no solution on the software side this phone is broken in the hardware side
I hope I helped you

Hi everyone,
My device was rooted, but supersu was having huge problems installing the binary, so I decided to go back to stock and try the process again.
I downloaded what was listed as my phone's ROM, and flashed it using Odin 3.09. It turns out it was a mislabelled ROM.
I finally got a hold of the correct ROM for my phone, however it always fails when I flash it, and displays this message:
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
Problem is I can only seem to get into Odin mode. My screen reads this:

KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0xffffffffc

If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate them.
Go to the s4 mini forum.
You need to flash whit odin s4 mini pit file and then any rom what you like
1. This isn't Galaxy s4 Mini forum
2. You are trying to flash one i9505 ROM for ur MINI i9195... No way!! :silly:

Figured it out. Thanks for the suggestions, and yes, it was the wrong ROM.

Try it on another pc
Or
Download another firmware
I had the same issue yesterday phone stoipped working got andropid.phone errors and phone would not make or take calls when go to dialer kept crashing and black screen tried wiping/factory reset and still had same issue on djembey stock pre root
I decided to then download stock EE firmware latest 4.4.2 this then failed and phone after this would not even boot up only thing I could manage to do now was to put into download mode would no longer even go into recovery mode either
I tried flashing about 4times and ODIN kept on failing tried with Odin 1.85, 3.04 3.07
FED up I read somewhere to try diff cable ( like that will make a diff I thought)
YESSSSS it flashed and now I have a working phone
After using, diffrent pc's, diffrent cables, and diffrent usb ports...
it worked... Jezus i love you guys!
hello everyone
i rooted my s4 a while back, then unrooted by flashing XSA-I9505XXUEMK9-20131212101727 through odin
then i decided to root it again, it worked but this time the wifi stopped working so i flashed XSA-I9505XXUEMK9-20131212101727 (same firmware) again, except everytime i do it, odin gives me a fail
i used a pit file to flash with XSA-I9505XXUEMK9-20131212101727 (same firmware again), except during the middle of this process, the connection between my cable and phone broke
tried pit + XSA-I9505XXUEMK9-20131212101727 (same thing) on odin 3.09 after the first attempt, it gives me a fail and this

Although this message your phone is in download mode
change usb port and try again
try different port
Fixed it somehow........
actually disregard all that, i flashed the pit file by itself in odin 3.09 and everything works again O_O
i'm missing an app which is weird...
i still can't reflash XSA-I9505XXUEMK9-20131212101727 through odin though, it still gives me a fail, which ends up ruining everything again, so i reflash the pit and now this happens
i did a factory reset, now samsung keyboard keeps crashing and the menu and back button do nothing
wth is happening ._.

What I mean it's make sure the phone is in warm condition before you flash again via Odin. Then in Odin v3.09 untick the autorestart for the process. And after that wait until the green passed come out then only plug out battery and cable then wait for 1 min plugin back and wait at least 30min and report.
The longest bootloop will be 30min to wait.
Boot into stock recovery, perform a factory reset, reboot.
mine Note N9005 take 20 to 25 minute on first boot after flashing.

It should give you work on download mode even you have wrong flash on it. Try press volume down+home+power for several times to make it force boot to download mode. Without that mode you can't do anything .

After flashing rom it take 20 to 25 minute to complete boot.
As your mentioned you have not recovery or download mode. try this method.
Install keis on your pc and connect your mobile. kiew will detect your phone.
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/kies
In kies you will get option to upgrade or reinstall the firmware. reinstall your firmware through kies. it will download appropriate firmware and install it on your phone. Hope it will make your phone back to normal.

Hello,
I've been trying to upload the Telus Andorid 6.0.1 to my Samsung S5 and have been unsuccessful. I continually get "Complete(Write) operation failed".
I have tried versions of Odin 3.09, 3.11 and 3.12 to no success.
I have ensured the driver of the S5 is on the computer (Windows 7, latest patches).
I have used multiple cables (OEM) and ports (front and rear).
I am in download mode (power, volume down, and home button).
Finally, Kies has been fully removed.
Here is what I'm trying to install: G900W8VLS1DPF3_G900W8OYA1DPF3_G900W8VLS1DPF3_HOME.tar.md5.

I'm doing all of this because my stock phone is bootlooping. I tried a new battery and it did not resolve my issues. Any help would be appreciated as I've searched this site and others for multiple hours and I'm now stuck on the firmware update screen telling me to recover using Kies (not the logo). It automatically starts there.
Thank you.

Try to redownload the md5 file
Change USB port. And if u another 2.0 cable to. Somwnthing it happend dont worried
I have tried all of these files and get the same error for each. brand new S5 USB 3 cable and different port too.
G900W8VLU1DPD3_G900W8OYA1DPD3_G900W8VLU1DPD3_HOME.tar
G900W8VLS1DPF3_G900W8OYA1DPF3_G900W8VLS1DPF3_HOME.tar
G900W8VLS1DPF3_G900W8OYA1DPF3_G900W8VLS1DPF3_HOME.tar - same file as above but from a different download site.
What is the line after:
<ID:0/007> tz.mbn
that causes it to fail?
Don’t use the usb 3 cable, the old HTC and BlackBerry cables are the best as theyre 21 pin connectors. Where are you downloading the tarball from? Sammobile.com/firmwares is the only truly reputable place altho there are many sites that have them as well, but if youre having trouble flashing them, get a tarball from the source directly. I agree with a previous post, try a different port, different cable and fresh download. One of those is bound to work.
Sorry for such a late reply. I am still unsuccessful with the S5. Redownloaded from Sammobile
G900W8VLS1DPF3_G900W8OYA1DPF3_G900W8VLS1DPF3
I loaded a Note 4 with Odin 3.12, a micro-USB cable, and this specific USB port and it woudln't work with the S5. Is it possible that there is internal hardware damage shorting something?

i guess its possible, but id try a different odin version before i jumped to that conclusion
Ok, so somehow I got the phone to boot up and go through the setup menus, then it failed.
It then rebooted and displayed
Set Warranty Bit : kernel
I now ran ODIN again.
This was on the phone

Knox Warranty Void: 0x1 (1)
Qualcomm Secureboot: Enable (CSB)

and this was the output within odin:

try with different odin version, like 3.11, also reinstall drivers or flash using another pc
Just rebooted phone and got this.

Also, tried with 3.11, no success. Drivers have been reinstalled twice over.
now it hangs at tz.mbn before failing.
