I just got a new ATT S4 and have a question about LTE. I know that I am able to get LTE here because if I use the 2263 menu, or phone info app and choose LTE only it works perfect, and very fast. But of course that disable calling, etc. What happens is that its always on HSPA+ instead. Is there a way to prioritize or force it to connect to LTE instead? I know LTE takes more battery, but my HSPA is very slow. Thanks
I should add that if I go into airplane mode, then back to normal I get LTE for a few seconds. Then it goes back to regular 4G.
I'd like to turn off LTE on my VS980 (to just use 3G), but apparently Verizon has removed the ability to do so and none of the apps out there can open the necessary settings window. My question is, if I put CM 10.2 on there, will I now have the ability to turn off 4G and save battery power?

On 11/14 build for Sprint Galaxy S 4.
Is there a way to add a quick toggle for LTE / 4G? The ROM doesn't seem to switch to LTE when I know there is LTE. Generally on other ROMs when this happens, I just toggle LTE off and back on and it locks in the LTE right away. Alternatively, I would go to APNs menu and switch between 3G and 4G APNs.
There's Preferred network type but I generally leave that to LTE.
I have recently bought a new Samsung tablet.
It says the tablet is LTE supported. I checked that and yes this model SM-T335 is LTE enabled.
The prob is that the tab does not show LTE option in network selection in Phone>Settings
When I bought the shopkeeeper enabled the LTE from Service Menu.
Now , Idk but somehow the phone lost 4G signal and only shows 2G.
There is no problem in SIM.
I have checked the SIM.
Can anybody help me how to enable LTE from Service Mode ?

Hi, I don't know what is the menu called. Broadband menu or something, but long time ago before I updated latest android version to my phone I were able to open menu which shows me mobile data information and I were able to choose LTE only. When I set LTE only nobody weren't able to call me which makes my call drop to HSPA/3G. Now I can't access to menu. Somebody talk about system/efs folder that there will be some file to edit, but my efs folder is empty.
Anyways. How do I can access to menu again with my Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F)? I want force my phone back to LTE, because if someone calls me my connection will **** up and I get disconnected from games and also getting back to LTE is hard since 3G signal is higher.

I think probably all of the custom roms for g900f excluding the cm roms have lte only mode.
