[Q] Will not unlock anymore using ChevronWp7

I have done a lot of reading and research and non of them worked for me or there could be sth I dun understand.
I have installed the certificate, make sure only wifi is on, then plugin the phone and wait for zune to pop up. Than run ChevronWP7. When I click unlock, it does not unlock the phone.
Also, all the sideloaded apps including XBMODDeployer.xap and TouchXplorer.xap is not working. I'm receiving a message that it got revoked and wants me to uninstall the app.
Will not consider hard reset unless that's the last option.

Many Microsoft Apps kill the Chevron Unlock, but it should be no problem to unlock the device again.
Also I had spend 8 hours in trying to unlock WP7, until i found out, that Skype block the Chevron tool.

Install the certificate and connect the phone with zune when Wifi is OFF! Then unlock your phone. I would say it would be better to unlock the phone only to deploy the config file and change the phone information to hd7. Because everytime you connect to zune it relocks again.

Thanks for all the reply. However I still have not find the reason why my phone cannot be unlocked. I do not have skype installed, but I will try uninstalling other apps and see what I can get.
SOrry I didn't make it clear earlier. When I said wifi on, I mean wifi on only for laptop, not the HD2.
I'm also wondering, from the tutorial I've read. In order to sideload app I need to have Zune running. Is there a way to sideload app another way?

Not anymore, you can do an easy fix (with out reg edits, or install adv config and edit reg) See top of forum page

Have a look at the sticky thread, honestly all the unlock info is there. If you follow the good guides there EXACTLY, you will not have a problem. Dont rush it bro and all will be well.

Can anyone help me with this?

Run Tom XAP Installer in administration mode and installed few apps. (Eight to be Precise)
My phone is unlocked but I cannot install any more apps only if I uninstall the old ones and replace with new one. only then i can.
Another problem I am having is that I fellow this step
Copy the .provxml from the ringtons folder to the windows folder (on the phone using touch explorer app)
I have installed the HTC connection setup but every time I run the application I get an error messages
(The carrier doesn’t exist in database) also ask me to fix the APN configuration)
Can someone please help with these problems?

You need the no limit chevron version or use advanced config tool to make it limitless

[Q] maximum apps?

Hey there,
I am from holland so excuse me if my English isn't proper.
Yesterday I 'updated' my phone with windows 7. And I started to connect the device with the pc (all going very well) to put some apps on it.
1) I can't use market place and I can't find something to use it in any other way. Zune says that it is impossible to connect from my location.
2) When I use deployment it now gives an error, 0x81030119, this meens that the maximum of apps is reached, and that I have to delete a few. How in hell is this possible, my sd card has 8GB, and when I connevt it says that I have 6 GB to use so where lies the problem?!?!?!
I hope someone can help me, cause I really like WP7 but if it has a maximum of apps I don't really know if I want to keep WP7.

first of all heloo and your english its proper
,and second to help you read all the discution on forum how to instal xap "aplication for wm7"
but most of all instal a weriosn whit chevron preinstaled or change the sd card .try whit one who is biger in capacity

that's right, i think that all you need is chevron unlocker.

You need to remove the side load limit, and you will then be able to download as much as you like.
Unzip the attachment, and use application deployment or Toms installer, and put into you mobile. In the menu you will now see (RemoveSideloadLimit). No touch that, and mow you will see (Set Max Sideload Apps. Touch that) Thats it go start downloading loads of apps.

Hey guys thnx a lot I am gonna try these things and will lett you know in a short matter of time, however I already have chevron unlocker (cause I have to use that everytim in order to deploy XAP files).
Another thing I don't understand is that I don't know how to put other files on my phone than xap files. Like the sense file for wm7. It is on this forum, and I downloaded it and all, but I don't know how to install it because it isn't a xap file. And the deployment is only for xapfiles.
Is there an answer to this question too?

Hey Chevron unlocker I already have, so that isn't the solution My sd card is good because he does find him. And says that I have enough storage to put files on my phone, and music and pictures is also not a problem to put on the phone.
Other solutions maybe?

I also have this problem, I have also instaled NoSideLoadLimit.zip and many apps... but I couldnt do the No-Relock things but coulds, so my phone got locked. unlocked again but now I cant load any apps, even if I uninstall almos all, always Error - 0x81030111

I only get the error that my memory is full. When I uninstall one file, I can put a nother one back on the phone, but after that the same message appears.
So I can only put like 10 apps on my phone....

I got a nokia lumia 800 and is unlocked with chevon.
All works fine for games and some apps.
But when i'm deploying apps like bazaar it says 0x81030119
Its at most of the apps.
Help pls

old topic... off topic.... this is HTC HD2 forum, not Nokia...

live services activation (stupid noob question)

I have an activation key but do i need to do the whole chevron thing just to get live services or is that just to sideload non marketplace apps? Im trying to avoid having to install the developer kit because i dont have a spare 3gb!

Your best bet is to use a ROM with Chevron unlocked and then you don't need to install the developer kits or zune on your pc

Just flash a custom WP7 rom with chevron already cooked in, so you don't have to deal with chevron (alot of people report problems)
Then just open marketplace, it should ask for your live or hotmail account. Log in and a window will prompt you to input your activation key.
Voila!
You can also side load apps with Tom's XAP.

In order to see the marketplace you have to have your phone recognize it as a hd7,then use the code without the phone seeing itself as hd7 marketplace won't work, you won't be able to see it.

If I'm not mistaken, the custom/pre-unlocked WP7 ROMs that are out there already have the registry changes needed for the phone to identify itself as a HD7. Still, OP should check the release thread/post to make sure.

The new custom, Football and Moonlight roms have been giving me some problems, so i flashed the DFT ROM and everyhting is fine. Downloaded the Dev tools, install Chevron Cert, Run Chevron unlock, run TomXapInstaller, install the apps and copy/paste the file. Easy and no problems so far. No need for regedits if you have an Activation Key, which is easy to get in the UK. Follow this thread for easy use:

Changing ringtone

Hi, i just bought a trophy and now i'm setting it to my wisches.
isn't it possible to acces the phone and change it to example an mp3 song from your computer. I trieded windows mobile, but now it's zune or something, but i can't fing where i can go into my phone. I need it for work so if i can't acces the phone, i'll have to sell it.

I have used WP Developer Tools to unlock
and only after phone registration, I could unlock,
after that I could deploy all the necesary files.
