I get a new g7105 device with android 4.3
when I tried to flash (with odin) auto root or flash custom recovery- my recovery get locked.
i get the download screen and its write:
could not do normal boot
odin mode
product name: sm- g7105
current binary: custom
system status: custom
qualcomm secureboot: enable (csb)
warranty bit: 1
ap swrev: s1, t1, r1, a1, p1
write protection: enable
i just want to flash cm12 but i can get root premission or flash custom recovery.

First of all sm-g7105 doesn't have cm12 and if you want to root you can try it by a app called towel root it may work on jellybeans firmware

Hi. Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9506. Tried to root/install Lollipop 5.0.1 (I had 4.2.2 KitKat).
So everything failed miserably. As it stands now, I can ONLY enter download mode with the phone and in ODIN MODE. I can connect phone to PC and use odin on PC. Can NOT enter recovery mode, it fails and shuts down the device. Only download mode through vol.down+home+power button.
I just want to be able to use my phone, so can someone explain step-by-step what I need to do to get my phone working again? Full reset or anything like that doesn't matter, I have backup, I just want the phone to work again.
It says on the screen (Downloading... Do not turn off target!!) with an android logo.

I bougt a phone. It 's working well with Android 4.4.2. I would like to root it and update it to Android 5.0.1 with either the original rom or cyanogenmod.
The problem is hat the previous owner did something with the phone. I could not get into recovery mode (Vol Up + Home + Power ). In download mode I get the following error:

- Just flash the stock rom through Odin.
or
- Install custom recovery and flash the custom rom you want.

Does this mean they have locked the boot loader so I cannot root my Grand 2?
Try root phone by "King Root" download it from google play, then flash TWRP/CWM and after it flash in recovery Supersu 2.76 or newest

Can somebody help me I have one G7102 with UDC start on download mode,I cant flash anything on it tryed lot of flash files 4.4.2 always in odin have failed,cant go to recovery mode...when I start it show triangle -soft. bricked(recived like this)
