Nexus One Battery Issue - Weird Problem

Hey I've been noticing a weird problem with my nexus one. I usually charge it over night so by the morning it's at 100%. I rarely let my phone die completely as I'm in and out of the house all the time. so i charge it when im home. however i noticed that when it does die completely, my battery level will say 30% 40% charged and then it'll suddenly die while im using it. i downloaded a battery widgit as well to make sure it wasnt just the system's battery charge indicator. the widget will also say the batter is charged 30% 40% and then the phone will suddenly die. When i plug the phone in and turn it on, then the battery level will say 1%. this has happened to me on both the stock nexus one and now im using the modaco sense rom, and same thing. any insight on my mystery?
Try going into recovery and wiping the battery stats.

After wiping battery stats, charge the phone completely while it is off until the light turns green (this will take a few hours). This may solve the problem. I had battery issues too, but after doing this, it fixed it. Good Luck
so i tried both suggestions; wiped the battery stats in the recovery. and charged phone to full. tried it out for 3 days. and no results. my battery level indicator is still inaccurate. any suggestions?

mobile not charging over some %tage

hello guys, i m using latest rom of lollipop and before it i was using RR , in both ROM donno y after some days battery not fully charge some times goes to 70 sometimes 77 , plz help i don't want to go back to stock rom
thnxxx
I've had the same problem. It first started with CM12.1. Reverted back to stock and it was working fine. After a while I noticed that my battery was bulged, so knowing how dangerous Li-ion batteries are, I bought a new battery. But after I got the battery I noticed that the problem still persists. After a while, the battery charges slower and slower, and I went back to a CM12 version, And even stock... same behavior on both. I do not know what the problem is, so I downloaded an app that tracks battery usage, battery charging Amps and a bunch of other things. What I found is that when my battery is empty, and I plug in my charger, the mA flow coming from charging and into the battery is over 800mA... but as the battery charges this value drops. Today, it reached 90% and wouldn't go higher. The Amp flow was somewhere around 70mA to 12mA.
I removed the battery for a few minutes and then put it back in. After putting it back in, the battery status indicated that it was fully charged 100%. I don't know what it's going on. Please help.
That happened to me
And my battery got fatter
I had to replace it
So i really recommend you to stick with Stock
Ot if you really want cm12.1
Charge your phone to 100%
Keep it plugged while installing cm12.1

Battery Won't charge

So I'm facing a rather weird problem with my OPT... The battery doesn't seem to be wanting to charge beyond 10%.
It first happened when I saw that my battery was stuck at 96% after flashing official Cyanogenmod with Boeffia kernel. I thought the battery was miscalibrated, So I decided to drain it to 0 and then charge it back up to 100. However, after leaving the phone plugged in for almost two hours(not turned on), the battery only charged to 10%.
I tried reflashing the ROM, but after than, I can't even get into the os, the phone shuts off at the welcome screen.
Any help will be much appriciated.

Battery stuck at 50%

Hey guys,
today my phone just didn't show any other battery capacity than 50%. I had it on my car dash charger for multiple hours. This evening it still turned off and showed the "Battery too low" screen, so I assume it did not charge.
First, TWRP also showed 50% and a very long weird number as CPU (top left), then it stopped showing anything about the battery
After I turned it off and tried to charge it, it crashed in the bootlogo and rebooted.
Any ideas what to do? I already reflashed the firmware.
Best regards
Colin
I have this problem too
Just use it till it gets fully drained then charge it?fully
Currently encountering the same issue with my OP5 now and when I consulted a tech regarding this one, he informed me that it may be a possible motherboard or battery issue. Will have my OP repaired by early January and hoping that it's only a battery issue(fingers crossed).

Looks like you drained the battery too much and the battery chip got confused. Or worse, one of the cells died. This doesn't just happen to OP5, but to all batteries.
There are a few options:
Replace the battery: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/OnePlus+5+Battery++Replacement/103028
Turn off the phone, then charge it fully while off. Then slowly drain the battery again, in a way where the phone isn't sleeping so Android can gather battery statistics.
If above didn't work, then do above method, but also clear battery statistics in TWRP, or the recovery of your choice.
There's the option of putting it in a vacuum sealed bag, and putting it in the freezer. Google for details, and do's & dont's.
Hope this helps!
Did you get the issue fixed? Currently I'm also having the same problem

[Q] Battery level drops after offline charger

Hi all, i have the following problem with a Redmi 4 Prime with latest MIUI stable:
- Offline charged, shows 100%, remove charger, turn it on and battery level drops to 80/70%
- Charged while on, rises to 100% then drains normally
I've never encountered this problem on any Xiaomi device, maybe replacing the battery is a good idea?
Thanks
Happened the same installing a new Pie ported Rom. I'm trying with battery calibration [root] to solve the problem. In my opinion it's not a battery problem, but only a wrong battery statistic/calibration parameters on the phone.

Me too tryng to address issue using battery calibration. Idk if Xiaomi phones got a "fuel gauge chip" like Samsung
Did you solve the problem?
I'm still struggling with it....
Solved here!
Charged while on till 100%
Calibrated battery with app
Discharged to 10%
Charged while off till 98% and turned on and... 98%!
So it was a bad batterystats file
