Big freaking Moto X sale, expires 7/23

I know this means Moto X+1 is coming soon, but I still think its a great deal for great phone.
I bought the N4 to try out Android L, then I got OnePlus and now a second Moto X. I am spending way too much. Need to start clearing out stuff.
PS. It could be a temporary bug, but with the combination of woodback and 64gb, it goes down to $300, otherwise it's higher.

Serious thanks on spotting this. I just did the fastest impulse buy ever and bought the exact phone I sent back during the penny trial that was too expensive. $324 out the door with CA tax for a 64GB bamboo, that is an insane deal on a great phone. Now I can give my N4 a well deserved break and not feel obligated to buy the X+1 on launch day. At this price the X is a no-brainer if you need a holdover until whatever comes out in the fall.

Well considering it is a pricing error, I wouldn't celebrate yet, but it's worth a try. They already charged my card so it's looking good though.
According to some guy who have a friend who is testing the X+1, ius supposed to have 5.2" 1080p in a compact body, OIS camera and 3GB ram and more software features. And will retail at $450. All speculation though. I could sell my OPO at that point to fund for it.

My card has been charged as well, although I'm fully expecting it to be canceled in the morning. I'd much rather wait to buy a new phone in November once all the new stuff is out, but my overheating N4 might have other ideas about lasting that long. It's times like this that I wish I had kept my old Photon as a backup, even if it was marooned on gingerbread.

I just ordered one. We'll see.

Yep I can vouch for the same was actually going to buy another if i could get the motomaker 64GB for $299.00 but its gone back up to 399.00 even with the wood back. :crying:

I'm thinking the ballistic nylon. Looks pretty sweet. Have to feel it in hand first though. I'm wondering how much more the 64 gb will be off contract.

Undecided. I know what ballistic nylon feels like and I don't like it. It's a slippery material. I hope they managed to rubberize it somehow. I do want the 64gb phone, but that's no good to me if it's slipping out of my hands all the time.

Will probably end up going 64 but still not sure as I keep my phones very clutter free and don't take many videos.

If you calculate it out the 32gb is $25 per month, 25*24 would be $599.99 off contract, and the 64gb is $27 per month and would be $649.99 off contract.
The ballistic nylon looks like a speaker almost. I hate the red bar on the 64gb version:
I think I want 64gb so I'll probably get the ballistic, not that I think I'll love it, but the kevlar option doesn't look appealing.

Yeah that 64gb badge looks kinda lame. I wonder if they badge will be removable though? I doubt it's just stick on though. My hand will be covering that while I'm using it anyway so I guess no huge deal.

It almost looks like it's attached to the Droid logo too. So I doubt it's removable. I guess it's one way to tell the 32gb vs 64gb apart but....why do you need to?

Well it's just like car manufacturers. The higher end model you buy, the more badges it has specifying it haha. I think it is part of the droid logo though.

64GB version for sure.
how it "looks" is for girls. I dont care about pretty. I care about sexy. and 64gb with these specs is sexy.

Probably the ballistic nylon here. I have the woven black on my Moto X, and while I know they aren't the same, the back of my Moto X gets lots of smudges on it. The MGF looks similar in appearance to that, and I think the weave of the nylon looks pretty neat.
I probably won't get the 64gb just because I don't really have a need for it. But it will probably come down to price. If it's only $50 more, I might just do it anyway.

This is a tough decision between this and the Nexus 6. It's basically a smaller version with a bigger battery. I'd be more inclined to get this simply because of the battery.

i was sold on the red...now im unsure...64 sounds really nice, especially with this thing shooting 4k video...but i just cant get over how much i like the red...

Nexus 6 is live on Verizon Wireless site.

Says available 3-18-15.

I was actually in Verizon today and they are ordering mine tomorrow. Gonna be glad to get rid of this lock up Note 3 and into a unlocked device. Well, unlockable at least.

I kinda hope it is black because I did not like the blue one. I did chat with a rep online and they said it would be black. I love the black frame. Looks awesome!

I've taken a liking to white over the years due to fingerprints but the black is better than the midnight blue. Just wish they'd kept the VZ logo off

Well the pics (drawings) on the Verizon site do look black, however, the video which shows the device complete with Verizon tramp stamp is most definitely midnight blue. I hope it's black, but knowing VZW there probably just stupid or f'ing with us, probably both.

I think this is the midnight blue N6, just like the leaked screen shots on Phandroid indicated. The face is black, that is why Verizon is calling it black.

I agree, but I don't think there is a special black N6 for Verizon when the internal documents call it midnight blue and if you look at the video on Verizon's site, you can see the blue in the metal frame.

All the pictures posted on their website show a distinct black along with the VZ logo. The video was put together some time ago and for a short while was in the wild before they clamped it down. I'd say they changed to the distinctive color and was using available promo shots occasionally that were blue. It's not unheard of for vendors to provide unique color combos for the big carriers.

What's up with the 32gb only...pisses me off. Since I'm having terrible luck ordering from Moto I was glad to see it finally going to be in a store near me...I'd say if it is black, it would be sweet...little Slick Wraps black carbon to cover the tramp stamp and I'd be set...but 32gb might be a deal breaker.

Good point. While I doubt Verizon cares enough about this phone to offer a special color, it would be a smart move on their part, makes it more attractive to fickle consumers on the fence about a phone that is arriving way late to the party. Plus I would like it!

Well I'm glad to see that the actual pricing for edge did nto match up to the leaks, which would have us all paying the total cost of a 64Gb model when getting the 32 ...
32 is not a deal breaker for me (but heck yeah, it would have been sweet to get the 64, GPM, files on drive and other cloud storage, and on my GNex for the last 3 years I've only used about half of that 32 available.
If actually black, that would make up for the wait, hopefully whether or not the color, the logo can be rubbed of aka ATT''s ...

Actually I think the black will be better in the long run for cases and possibly skins. Not sure what color skin I do with that blue.

I got mine for $300 too, blue was the only option though. My best buy didn't carry the other colors, unless I wanted to order, which would have taken like 3 weeks to arrive.

for the price it is the best quality/price phone ever IMO

Let's talk about being cheap Lol. I cancelled my wife's phone, and then reordered it, because Amazon drop the price of the white one to $259.99 from $264.99 lol.. I took that extra $5 and bought some of those mirco usb to usb type c adapters so I wouldn't have to by all new cables.

Picked up black one for ,289$ on Amazon next day the blue was dropped down 289$ bummer .
By the way honor website was having the flash sale win 32gb Honor 8 for 1$ Next day was the white 64gb for 1$.
First 10 people who can fill out and submit the order form .Honor has a flash sale for other items daily as well for 1$ . Worth checking out .

Mystery gift is a lousy water bottle

I had hoped that they would have sent those of us who ordered before the pop up box came up would have gotten the same gift, but boy was I wrong. A lousy water bottle included with the supposed $99 discount.
Had I known, I would have cancelled and reordered.
Anyone get a better mystery gift?

Right? Well since I also received the $99 water bottle I had to go to a T-Mobile store where I could buy a decent case for $42 dollars. Sigh.

Sadly my experience was the same, got the same stupid tiny water bottle/thermos, I was hoping for another charger like they used to do (or at least something more useful). I also had to buy a case from T-Mobile since my nicer case is coming from China and could be here anywhere in the next 3 mo (sadly I'm not exaggerating shipping time).

I also received a really shiny metal water bottle. It's too small to be of much use and was I was pretty disappointed when I realized that's all the "surprise gift" was....

I'm really disappointed about the bottle too. I was hoping for at least a case and maybe earbuds but damn this really was a slap in the face. Unlike someone else that posted, I couldn't even find a case at my local T-Mobile store (or others within 15 miles of me). The cases on amazon seem like garbage right now as well.
Only good side is that shipping was fast... I got my phone before a lot of T-Mobile stores even had time to put up a demo unit according to one store I went to.

Graphically it is better
