So what does this get you?
In trouble if you don't remember what you change. It gives you acess to change settings such as turn on and off features of your phone.

Would love some screen shots of what is available to change and if it would be worth the time?
Here you go, not sure what a lot of these do but I'm sure someone here does.

This should be how you guys can turn on themes. This is the Lg Home hidden menu
Do you need pro version of launcher pro. Cause I don't see any activity widgets
Nope, it should be the 1×1 activity widget.
Sent from my VS986 using XDA Free mobile app
this menu has been in previous LG devices but is not the "main" hidden menu. you guys can't find any other hidden menu?
and you can use this app to find hidden activities without changing your launcher: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.szalkowski.activitylauncher&hl=en
just open app.. select "all activities" from the top drop down menu and poke around.
It works without changing your launcher. The widget is available in stock launcher. You can also access service menu with this app and yours.

I'm unable to find the menus on the activity launcher. It seems it's not as complete as launcher pro.

I did this, but what did you launch to get to this menu?
It's under home and then home hidden menu activity I believe. After you create the shortcut you can uninstall the launcher pro app. The shortcut will remain.

Did anyone else get this working? I followed OP and do not see hidden settings under home screen using activity launcher. See my screen shot above.
Nova launcher wont allow me to enter those. Says app not installed or something :/. I got in to the other secret menu but not the main one. Sadly the main hidden menu has bt stuff that I might be interrested. Any idea why this happens. Mine is european 815.

One of the options on this hidden menu is "Support_Secret_Menu". I wonder if that'll activate an additional menu.
It'd be nice to have Display Frame Rate option on this menu.
crash
When i try to add the activity widget it crashes on me. Not sure if its because i have 7 screens or a active wallpaper or what..

I have given up. I have the same LaunherPro installed, and have selected the same activity widget, but I do not have a hidden menu option in my list. Tried to uninstall and reinstall and no go. Thanks though, good find.
Idk. I installed the Hidden Activities app and found Verizon Hidden Menu but it won't open and instead I get an error message.

I was just wondering if any of y'all know how to remove some apps icons from the app menu? For instance better keyboard or some live wallpapers I've installed. I just wanna remove things that you can access from the settings. Thanks for your time.

I'm running LP (not sure if TW has this feature) and if you hit the
setting button > preferences > general settings> Hidden Apps > Choose the apps you want and hide them. I hid a lot it really comes in handy like swype tips.
I don't have launcher pro (which I'm assuming LP is) I'm using the default Touchwiz.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Touchwiz is a slow, uncustomizable, piece of junk. Use lp or adw
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Though I'm a fan of anderwebs, I find launcher pro to be a better product. It comes with its own widgets and is very smooth. You can also hide apps in your app drawer.
Not sent from my Vibrant using XDA App 'cause I returned it.
I also use LaucherPro but I will also actually answer your quesiton.
Go into the App List and press
Menu>View Type>Cutomizable grid
Then press
Menu>Edit
You'll see little red minus signs on icons that can be removed. When you've gotten rid of the ones you don't want, just hit Menu>Save and you're all set. Of course, this means that you'll have to move the icons of new apps if you like the alphabetical list.
Since S2-S3 days I would long press on the screen then select "add widgets" then select Settings then drag it to screen then select BATTERY. now i cant find the settings widget now in the the widget selection menu. Can anybody help me? Thanks

Was just sitting around looking for the same thing? Used it to have direct links to my Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings.
found a work around for this...
Things you'll need.
1. Photos of the settings widget you'd like to add to your home screen. ( You might not need this depending on what setting or settings your wanting to use.)
2. Apex launcher.
3. Desktop visualizer.
After installing both applications open desktop visualizer and proceed loading the setting image that you'd like.
Once done you'll be prompted to select an action you'd like to correspond with the image. Select other then select apex actions, should be at the top of the list.
Scroll all the way down to the S category and select settings, should read 247 options, if not your at the wrong settings.
Select your desired function and your all set.
You can uninstall both applications. This won't effect any functionality.
Hope this helps and drop me line if it does.
.....
I am looking for this and I guess my question to you sherrouse is, why do I need photos and desktop visualizer? Can't Apex Launcher add a widget for any setting I want with some stock images and just work?

Unfortunately, I don't think apex launcher can create widgets that can be utilized by Touch wiz home. However the process might work if you intend to replace T.w home with apex as you daily launcher...

Thanks.
Has anyone noticed that some of your paid apps are missing from the app drawer? The only way I can find some of them is to go into the Play Store and search for the app and open it that way. It shows as being installed but doesn't show in the app drawer. They aren't disabled and hidden because of that. I noticed this problem both before and after rooting. I'm still using the stock launcher though. Perhaps they would show up in Nova Prime?

I finally got my apps to appear. In the app drawer hit the menu button. Click on Hide/Show apps. Hide the app that is hidden already but not shown being hidden. Go to the home screen and then back into the app drawer and Hide/Show apps. Uncheck the hidden apps and they'll magically appear in your app drawer.

I found a way to enable it on my ATT D800 earlier. First download launcher pro from the market. Then on the LG home add the widget call actions from launcher pro. Choose the Home action and then one of the sub-choices will be Home with something like hidden menu underneath it. choose that one and then click on the widget. From there check the theme engine box and exit the app. Then hitting the menu key from the home screen on LG Home will have themes. You can uninstall launcher pro after

Do you mean home > Add Activity > Home > com.lge.hiddenmenuactivity ? This doesn't work for me. It creates an icon and clicking on it shows "Failed to open whatever" and nothing happens.
Can you be more specific?
Also, can someone with a working Theme setting for the Home screen upload the LGHome.apk here? It's under /system/apps/

The instructions are from that thread. As you can see from the thread, many people from AT&T G2 aren't able to access that shortcut. Opening the shortcut gives an error, as I mentioned before. Are you on the stock AT&T rom?

I share this gem with you courtesy of someone called Leftarmspinner.
TO ENABLE THEMES ON THE ATT LG G2.
1. Download and install Launcher Pro from Google Play (you don't need to set it as default launcher or anything) and Later you can uninstall. This enables the hidden settings menu, which most of us have done one way or another.
2. Add Activities widget to your LG Launcher home screen. Search for Home > com.lge.launcher2.hiddenmenu.LGHomeHiddenMenuActivity
3. Voilà now you have access to hidden settings from your Home screen. Look for the setting feature_use_theme and check it off.
4. You can now use themes!!!! How cool.

Anyway guys, I found a solution to acces to the hidden setting without installing Launcher Pro.
Just get "Any Shortcut" on the market (here (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oboenikui.anyshortcut)), then create a shortcut with these parameters :
*Application :* com.lge.launcher2
*Activity :* com.lge.launcher2.hiddenmenu.LGHomeHiddenMenuActivity (without a space between "Activ" and "ity" !)
*Action :* nothing
*Intent :* nothing
(See screenshot in attachment).
Then : create, your shortcut is done !
And you have access to the launcher hidden settings
