Geofence inconsistencies - Java for Android App Development

Has anyone come up with a good solution to handle the case when android thinks you have left a geofence but you have not other than manually checking location with GPS?

GPS disabled?

Yesterday I noticed that my nexus seemed to be using wi-fi only for location fixes. Yet the GPS option in location services is enabled. The GPS status app along with other GPS apps day the GPS is disabled. I have tried using only GPS and disabling agps, restoring a backup, and even clean flashing after factory reset. Every app seems to believe that GPS is disabled. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

How to hide ip

What's the best way to hide my IP on the N4 while browsing on Chrome?

Hotspot shield might work. Free dl in play store

I use TunnelBear VPN. It won't hide your ip, but it will change it to a different preset location.

Hotspot won't work with N4. Tunnel bear also won't work because it still shows my IP.

I use feat VPN, its a free app just Google it its not in the play store. This app will basically allow you to change your IP and set up your own tunnels. But in order to do so you have to download the vpn configurations from open book VPN, its free and fast. Sorry for bad english

[ISSUE] Battery drain com.google.process.location

So, I'm trying to pinpoint exactly what keeps using this process (com.google.process.location) any ideas? I've looked at other threads... No luck. I do use Google now... Would this affect this even if I've placed location history and location reporting off? Another app which I think is the issue is "find my friends" would this happen to be using up my location even though I have put the location reporting off in Google settings? Thanks for any help.

However, I don't want to always have to put on and off location settings when I use something like maps.

Your not turning off your GPS. Your turning off the wireless network which cause the Google services drain.

I think I solved such an issue on one of our s4 by uninstalling maps app (restore original) and reinstalling

Weather app Drain

The weather app seems to be consuming a lot of battery even though i dont have it on. Does anybody know what is going on?

It uses location services, so maybe that has something to do with it. Can you get a GPS lock? Do you have google services location set?
Worst case you can disable it.

You were right! Apparently the gps is the culprit but i have location services off :/

Root the phone and put misbehaving apps to sleep with Greenify.
Have you ever setup the weather app? Maybe if you set it up and allow it to obtain a fix it'll behave itself.

Hands free

I am having an issue with hands free activating every time I enter my car even though I have turned it off many times and even unchecked all the options
It didn't do this previously and is starting to become an annoyance
Does anyone know how I can deactivate this
Thanks in advance
