Hi,
I created the latest Customized DE R2D Image with PRFCreator containing:
D5503_Customized DE_1279-6978_14.5.A.0.270_R2D
SuperSU-v2.46
Z1C-lockeddualrecovery2.8.15

Tried dirty (over 242 and 270 R1D) and clean flash with success.
Cheers,
Andreas
Just tried flashing this and got a bootloop. This is R2D but in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/sony-xperia-z1-compact/general/stock-14-5-0-270-customized-t3115946 which is for pre-rooted R1D, he says it is the second release of the firmware. But yours must be the second release, mustn't it?
I dirty flashed on .242 and works great but no xposed. do i need to reflash xposed?

Sure!
Also got no issues after dirty flashing over 270 R1D.
Best, maris
I did a clean flash with a factory reset and it worked. Also, with this version of the firmware I am not having problems with the lollipop charging bug (with the charging dock charging is erratic and won't get beyond a certain %.). When I flashed a pre-rooted customized UK version it was a problem. Sony should know there is a software bug with some versions of lollipop. It doesn't only affect the the Z1 Compact.

I spoke too soon. With the charging dock I still have a problem. Seems okay with the USB cable. I guess I will be restoring KItkat for the last time and wait until Sony hopefully fix this in the next update.

Maybe he means the second Lollipop release (after .242). I created this image after getting OTA upgrade notification about a 9,9 MB upgrade on running .270 R1D.
Andreas
DId the OTA notification say something about the changes?
I got sim lock after flash this r2d firmware Its now asking for PUK CODE.
Updated : fixed now, but don't know where the real problems originate from?
@andreas. I'm assuming you don't have any issues charging but just out of interest, do you use the Sony dock to charge your phone? If the answer is affirmative I wonder what is it that causes the charging problem in some phones but not in others.

@nagusia:
Sorry, I'm using the micro usb cable only. I'll try the magnetic cable next charging cycle.
flashed with wiping dalvik/cache on .242, works perfect so far, thanks!

Hi, my wife has a problem with her Note 4. It happens sometimes that when she tries to make a call, after she chooses a number (it doesn't matter if you choose it from contacts, or type a number manually in the dialer) the dialing window opens and after a while it dissappears. The number which you chose doesn't appear in the recent calls list. It happens from time to time, but it's annoying.
It's galaxy note 4 with non branded, non rooted Lollipop. Any suggestions what can it be?
probably a software glitch. Please headover to youtube and watch videos on how to flash stock firmware with odin then go to sammobile website download firmware for your phone and flash it with odin. (if you are downloading a 5.1.1 firmware then make sure that it does not say coj5 in the name, coj5 version firmwares lock the bootloader and then you wont be able to downgrade to 5.0.1 or to 4.4.4) i suggest you download a United kingdom BTU firmware of 5.0.1 (its non branded). will hopefully fix your problem.

i am sorry if i have misguided him? but how does taking out the battery resolve this problem...he says it happens from time to time so i think hes been having it for a long time now. Doing a factory reset or re flashing stock firmware fixes most of the problems thats why i asked him to reflash.
Thx for Your suggestions, reflashing the firmware could do the trick. I'm considering other methods too, cause my wife doesn't like to set up her phone once again... I tried clearing the data of "phone" apps but it didn't help though. Are there any other apps in apps manager related with this problem which data i could try to erase? I'm gonna try pulling out the battery and the sim card and if this won't solve the problem I'm gonna do the factory reset or reflash the firmware.

No bugs so far, battery life decent, bt working, dunno about other european sim cards than finland, but they should work. I dirty flashed B550 via fastboot, build number shows B507 after flash but dont let it fool you. Google keyboard was working after OTA flash, dont expect keyboard with dirty flash B550. Hope it helps

I believe you're ****ed m8 :/ you could try to boot your device into recovery and seek if you can get product id via adb since it works on recovery.
Or try to do wipe and boot if it works, on what build you tried installing that OTA on?
After some tweaks i made to io and entropy like i always do, i managed to get nice score in antutu! Also i found one small bug in beta: you cant set lockscreen wallpaper other than the one in homescreen. But overall awesome OS
Hi all, Can i install this update with firmware B521 ? Thanks

You can set different wallpaper, it just asks you after you crop and set the "illusion" effect to which you want to set it to, this method is via gallery not themes app

I have upgrade my ROM to Marshmallow 6.01 which is causing some problem.. Since I didn't took official ROM backup, I couldn't roll back to original official.... Can someone help me on this and upload official room, so that I can get the official ROM back and go for OTA update.

Hello, let me understand, by original rom you mean 5.1.1? And I would be curious what problems do you have with 6.0.1? Did you try a full wipe after installing 6.0.1? Cheers
I faced the same problem, and found the original stock rom in below link.

Yes I need the firmware which comes with the phone I think it was 5.1.1 (N920CZDAXSG)... After upgrading 6.0.1 the problem is battery drains soon (Just in 25mins 100 to 0) even after factory reset, went to service centre got busted using custom ROM.. They will not reverse it to official version since its violation of terms and condition... That is why I want to go for any original official version so that I can go with OTA update from samsung itself.

mniko

You can flash any country customised FTF File. After booting it will automatically changes to your country (with the help of SIM). Country cusomisation is only change of languate, date, region & other settings and some bloatware, nothing different.
With this update, the phone is little cooler and better battery consumption and security patch update, nothing special.

On build 160 my phone need about 2h45' for charging from 15% to 100%, but on build 1.54 my phone need 3h40' for charging from 15 to 100%. What should i do right now? Downgrade to build 160 or flash build 154 again?

I dont have such problem
you may try these: Wipe Dalvik & Cache the try the following
1) charge 100% and calibrate using battery calibration app
or 2) Use the phone till switches off and then charge it to 100% in switch off mode, and turn it on
Can someone provide RU customized fw but for single sim version ?

I found the problem of the Charging Optimization feature. If I turn off my phone or disable Charging Optimization feature my phone only needs about 2h5' for charging from 15% to 100%, but if I turn it on my phone need more than 4h for full charge.

Use Flashtool & Xperia Firmware tool for downloading latest firmware and converting it to FTF for flashing. If you dont know about these, search in YouTube for video tutorials.
Dont u have ftf files or links? It would help me that procedure is frustrating
After update I started having problems with touch.
In room temperature 2-3mm top of the screen works only first 20 second after turning screen on, then is dead. After few minutes its starts to open notification by itself.
There is no problem at all when using phone outside in 10deg C

Hi,
My Nokia 6 has been upgraded to Oreo. SInce this update, the battery charges very slowly and has very high thermal heating at the point you can't touch the phone unless you burn your fingers.. (what a deal Nokia )
So I please need a ROM firmware to reflash that phone into Nougat version, since resetting the phone doesn't downgrade from Oreo to Nougat...
Model is for Europe (France) TA-1033
Would this OTA image be available somewhere ?
Thanks,
Vince

Flash mena firmware..
Procedure to flash mena firmware is given on mena thread,
If you're in oreo, remember to flash December patch from recovery to downgrade the bootloader
Once you flash December ota, it will downgrade your bootloader and let you flash mena firmware without error

Unfortunately, the issue is still here. The battery with a full load will drain entirely in about 10 minutes. And it will charge very slowly with maximum heating.
I changed the battery and it's still the same. So my question is : is there a hardware solution for that issue ? It looks like a giant current leak due to some bad electronic component
