[Q] Problem with light sensor - Need help please. - GiONEE Elife E7

Hi,
I noticed my E7 isn't very fluent changing screen brightness,
so I checked with light meter applications and found that it jumps from 1LUX to 100 and than to 1000.
Only for few moments, don't no how, I got apropriate values.
How is it with yours phones?
Can someone check with a light meter app (many on google play).
Thanks ahead.
(Sorry for my English)

how to decrease a minimum backlight?

QTek S110
Minimal backlight (1st position of lever) is too bright for me... And it exhausts batteries fast.
Is it possible to adjust a backlight finer?
Some software, patch, links, etc. ?
Hi, I've been searching for an app to achieved that but... no joy!
When I'm reading under my sheets I get blind with that light...
If that's your problem try Haali Reader. It's a freeware when you can change back-color and text-color and make a poor contrast better for your eyes.
C ya!
If you find a way to do it... let me know.

2 Tytn Questions

Hi All,
Got, (Finally) my Tytn 3 days ago.
2 quick questions, (that might sound stupid to some of you.... )
1. is there a key-light on the QWERTY keyboard?
2. when I'm outdoors, (sun light) the screen is almost unreadable....
Any suggestions?
Thanks
1) yes.
2) increase backlight

1) yes.
2) increase backlight
Click to collapse
so how do I turn the keyboard light on?
The brightness is set to MAX......
10x
the keyboard light turns on automatically when the room brightness is not enough (there's a light sensor between the "P" key and the green phone key)
For screen backlight.. I don't know.. mine works well even in high sunlight (when set to maximum brightness) however there's a tool from vj that increases backlight over the maximum value (like when you start the "camera mode") but as far as I know it can be used for small amounts of time (if you don't want to damage your device)

VJ has an app that will allow the screen to overbright like it does for the camera. It is in the latest WM6 rom. its called BrightScreen.
This helps a little in really sunny places but I also find the screen hard to read outdoors.
The Keyboard has an auto sensor that should activate it only in low light conditions. Change this setting under Settings > Buttons > Backlight Tab

I sticked a glare-reducing screen protector on it.
(Despite my nickname, which cause confusion, I'm not the vijay mentioned in the thread )

Auto backlight always to bright? (mod?)

hi guys,
the auto backlight feature of the HD is quite nice, but one thing really annoying me:
if you are in a dark room the backlight is still to bright. i mean, theres no light around but it is still on propably 50% brightness.
is there a way to fix/change it somehome? maybe some registry settings with min and max value for brightness used by auto backlight?
or to calibrate my sensor? saying normal room light = 50%, outside = 100%, room in the evening with only tv on = 0%?
maybe somebody else solved it already, board search didn't gave me usefull topics.
thanks in advance,
guro

Display light %

I want to ask you something. On direct sunlight the display light is not enough, when I manually set it to 100% the display is much more bright and everything is ok, but when is AUTO, it wont go to maximum never! I'm asking is there any tweak for this, or anyone who knows how, to be kind to make something about this.
Hey - there's a couple of programs that can manage the light sensor instead of the default built in one.
First i used lumos however i found it wasn't that customisable. Yesterday i found a program called AutoLight which works by adjusting a graph to how you want the backlight to change according to the ambient light. Works really well so far!
Just search for them on here and they'll come up.

[ZE520KL]In a low screen light level about 20%, screen will twinkle...

Hello everyone
First, sorry about my poor English
I have this phone in January.(my phone's specification 4G/64G Z017DA)
And I found that my phone's screen will twinkle in low screen light level.(About 20%)
Just like stars twinkle.
Is anyone's phone like mine??
It bothers me...
And I have fixed it 5 times in Asus Repair Center.
Here is a video...PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
That's normal. It's just an issue with ASUS' auto brightness software implementation.
