Speakers muting sound when charging. - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My D800 LG G2 mutes sounds like game music or music from Spotify when it is charging. The only way to get sound back while charging is to reopen the app... but even then, the sounds will mute again after about 10 seconds. I don't have any issues with sound unless it's charging. Using headphones is no problem, music continues to play through headphones without any muting at all. There is also a noticeable lag in changing volume level (just based on watching the volume slider), charging vs not charging. Does anyone have this issue?
Edit:
Just looked it up again under different key words, it seems like this might be a Lollipop issue?

Encountered two issues on my i9505 today

FWhile listening to music through earphones the music sounds fine. But today I connected it to aux on my friends car stereo and you could your hear a loud hiss. An iphone 5 and htc one were fine so its not the car stereo.
The other issue is that today when I unlocked my phone I sometimes had a weird screen distortion before the homescreen was visible.
Wondering if anybody else encountered the same issues
2 different volume types
What probably happened was the volume on your S4 was set low, which resulted in you turning your car speakers up. When this happens, you get a lot more of a static sound. make sure the volume on your phone is turned up enough next time
I don't have an S4 or know about your other problem; sounds pretty weird though. Probably just a bug.

Its a known issue when using low impedance headphones or devices. Check here:

Ilabs i just checked out the other thread and i think my problem with the sound is off different nature. The hiss sounds like a high pitch tone and it only starts to appear when I click on play and even remains when I click on stop. Only unplugging the cable helps.

Probably a one time incident, haven`t had it myself so far. If it should happen more often do a data factory reset.

Possible to completely silence the back speaker when headphones are connected?

HI, I don't want any notifications or ringtones to play through the back speaker of my S4 when the headphones are plugged in. I want to ONLY hear those sounds in my headphones. Completely muting the phone doesn't work because then obviously I wouldn't hear anything in the headphones either.
So, is it possible to do this on the GT-i9505 ?
My old Samsung Galaxy Spica did this and I really miss that "feature".
That's weird yours plays thru the rear speaker mine plays everything thru the headphones when connected
HA! this is a hugeass issue on every android I've owned. im assuming you're using poweramp or something right? the stock player pauses the song to play it thru the headphones which is probably why that dude up ^^ doesn't get that.
anyways some kernels fix this, namely Boeffla Sound on the sgs3. sadly I've seen no fix on the s4. SO! , here's what your can do; in your music player (power amp, etc), under audio settings, turn on Settings>Audio>Audio Focus> and tick 'Short Audio Focus Changes', this will pause your music on notifications.
ORRRRR a far better solution is when you plug in your 3.5mm jack headphones (cause this shii* doesn't happen on bluetooth), you can just pull down your notification bar and tap over to vibrate mode. then you'll hear notifications IN YOUR HEADPHONES a little quieter but still noticeably behind your music, and your music won't pause or mute or anything.

[Q] Nexus 4 random freezes and headphones sound is distorted

Hi,
I have been having random freezes which force me to power boot my nexus 4. These occur mostly when I'm having phone conversations or using Skype, but also when I listen to music using my headphones.
Also, the music from the headphones is all distorted, as when you play very loud music from very crappy speakers. These two problems started at the same time.
The music sounds fine when played from the phone's speaker or when using bluetooth. I have also performed a factory reset but the problems are still there.
When I try to replicate it whilst monitoring with adb logcat, the freezes never occur, which leads me to believe my battery is messing up the electric system
I'm running stock android 4.4.2
Please help!
I've replaced the headphones module nut the problem is still there. The internal speaker audio is also messing up, it's all distorted, but the loud speaker seems to work just fine. I really have no clue what is wrong with it.

[SOLVED] sound problems

now i've had my s7e for about 3 days and i've found another problem, this time far more annoying than the camera issue
whenever i play something that has audio and then pause it, a beep tone accompanied by static plays for about 5 seconds after pausing
it plays through headphones, the phone's speaker and even my pc speakers with the screen being cast to my computer and it sounds like this (amplified a lot): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_um5z60hM5zR0hBajhoNUNpeHc/view?usp=drivesdk
i have an equalizer installed, but turning that off changes nothing
it happens in poweramp, samsung's stock music player, youtube, basically literally every app that plays sound
rebooting fixes nothing
all the sound options like the uhq upscaler and everything else are off, the built in equalizer is on normal, turning off adapt sound doesn't do anything
the beeps seem to vary in pitch at random
edit: turns out, the EQ app i was using was causing this strange tone. welp

No notification sounds when using bluetooth headphones

Hey all, it's been bothering me for quite a while and am just getting around to it now.
When listening to music (on any type of player app), I do not hear my notification sounds. The only thing that happens is that the music still plays, but lowers itself to maybe 20% for a few seconds, then back to normal.
This is the only way I know "something" came in. But with no audio queues, I have no idea from which app.
I believe I never had this issue with my old wired headphones. Unfortunately I no longer have wired headphones to test with.
Has anyone else come across this?
