Hi, does any one here knows if there's any cm7 rom out there with the wifi regulatory domain settings default to 13 or 14, instead of 11? Thanks.

Hi,
Does anyone know how to make atrix wifi to see 12 & 13 channels? I have AT&T atrix with Alien #4 and australian 100 radio. I've tried to change ro.wifi.channels in build.prop, to add wifi_country_code=EU into /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db, but no luck Also, i don't have "Regulatory domain" option in advanced wifi settings. Please help.
i think you have to change or reflash the rom ? on 2.3.4 only i have 11 channels , 13 channels and 14 channels in regulatory domain so i dont have 12 channels
What kernel do you use? Do you have AT&T or International Atrix?
stock international atrix 2.3.4,
ATRIX MB860 Retail Greece, Central Europe, Nordics
Blur_Version.45.31.1.MB860.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU
baseband N_01.100.00R
only 1-11 channels
i know aura has the option to select the regulatory domain. or cm7 that one has it too
It seems that it depends on kernel. I have this option using faux kernel, but I don't have it when I use stock, eternity project or clemsyn kernels

Hi,
i installed KitKat Omnirom (Build 3) from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705989
I cant't connect to WLAN with hidden SSID (not in range). With my former rom (cyanogen 4.3..) it worked.
Thanks for advice.
Florian
btw., i know: hiding the SSID ist not a real security-feature.
I have been combing through my devices LOS kernel source on github looking for the 192.168.xxx prefix applied to usb and wireless networking subnets. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm bent on changing the prefix to 10.0.xxx range. I'm going to compile the whole ROM to find it next....
Thanks!
A month or two ago, when I was on 10.3.12 or 11.0.3 Stable, I successfully Added WiFi network with hidden SSID, and with Security set to 802.1x EAP (as required for the WiFi network at my workplace).
Later, I upgraded by OTA to 11.0.4 and I was still automatically connecting everyday to that WiFi network at work.
Today when I unlocked Bootloader I found that my home WiFi networks were successfully backed up and restored over Xiaomi Cloud, but I lost that WiFi network for work
I wanted to set it up again, but now I can no more choose 802.1x EAP for Security (only None, WEP, WPA/WPA-Personal and WPA/WPA2-Enterprise options are available)
Can somebody else try to add a WiFi network for hidden SSID, to check if he has the option to choose 802.1x EAP for Security.
I don't know was it lost with 11.0.4 or due to the unlocked Bootloader (?)
Have you checked under WPA Enterprise? EAP settings are there for AOSP ROMs. I'm using PA and have the options, I would assume MIUI is similar?
I have attached a screenshot of how it looks under PA.

Thank you a lot, I will try tomorrow with PSA2 Enterprise.
Indeed,. everything else matches how I need and I previously had
And it makes sense, based on:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_Protected_Access
https://documentation.meraki.com/MR...tion/WPA2_Enterprise_Profile_Setup_on_Android
