Hi,
I am hoping someone out there knows how to sim unlock Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 LTE (from AT&T), T337A. I bought this from CowBoom, and I asked AT&T to unlock it for me, but they found out that someone bought this tablet, activated/registered under their AT&T account, but returned it to the store. Even though they know that the original owner returned the tablet to the store, they can't unlock it for me because the tablet is technically registered under someone else's account. It makes no logical sense to me that they yield the ownership to someone that returned the product, but it seems to be the limitation of the security system they have in place. So, I'm basically screwed This is why I am searching for an alternative method to sim unlock this tablet. If anyone knows how, please help.
Thank you,
GT

Only way I know is to buy a code from eBay or elsewhere online.
Sorry If I come across as a newbie here, just looking for some help
I had to switch providers, so I paid off the contract on my USC S5, and got a new S5 from Verizon (Don't ask why lol, long story.)
I have a friend who I really want to give this USC phone to, but they are also on Verizon. I need to get her on this phone with her current plan preferably with the SIM she already has I really do hope this is possible, she could really use it.
I need to know how to go about getting it on her network. Do I need to Factory Unlock?
If so, How?
(I don't even know if it is locked)
Phone in question is currently rooted and running Cyanogen Mod 12.

Really do appreciate any input on this. Thank you
Hi, I am currently with AT&T but would prefer purchasing a t mobile S7 outright and unlocking it for use on AT&T. Anyone have any experiences with unlocking services?
Yap, I remember using https://www.unlockunit.com/ last year, charged me ~$20 for AT&T S6 Edge, and it worked.
Unlocking

Try these guys - www.cellunlocker.net. I've been using them for a long time and they've always come through for me.
Sim-unlock.net
Did mine last night
i have used cellunlocker.net before and they have been 100% able to unlock what i had. i even made the mistake of buying twice for some reason but they refunded me the 2nd one without me even asking. it's the new tmobile unlock app i havent tried yet. i tried getting them to unlock my tmobile s6 before but after a day or two they said they couldnt do it because of the new system and refunded me and i never tried again. but looks like they figured it out for the s6. i would try it but there is no way for me to test if it works. every sim i have and can borrow is tmobile
I wanna buy now a Sprint, Galaxy S7, and use it on the Verizon network, because Verizon has less capabilities to play around with software. but Verizon is still the better service, so I wanna stick to them, so does anybody know if Sprint still locks their LTE phones? And will it work 100% on the Verizon network, and how will it work internationally on the GSM network, can someone please educate me in this Subject?
Try this service: www.unlockradar.com if you want to unlock your Glaxy S7. Customer support is very responsive and they can asist you at any time.
Hi all,
So long time reader, first post. I joined when I was able to root/rom my S3 on AT&T and a lot has changed since then so forgive me if I post something/where incorrect.
If i'm understanding correctly, not many phones now a days can easily be rooted/bootloader unlocked when purchased via ATT/VZW/... So due to me missing roms/root.... greatly on my VZW Note 4 (SM-N910V, 5.1.1), I want to be able to purchase a phone that I can do all that on. I was considering getting the Factory S7 (SM-930F). But I'm still confused. Would the answer from here on out in the industry be to purchase a factory unlocked phone and essentially sign up for a BYOP option to a major carrier? Please feel free to give your input and thanks for any help/advice.

Vzw note4 can be rooted now. The factory s7 doesn't have the proper radios for vzw. It might work on T-Mobile or att. I don't know for sure.

Well I've rooted my Galaxy Core however, I still can't seem to find a way to remove the US sim lock from Metro PCs to be able to use in the UK.
I know this phone is not big of a deal however I was just wondering whether I could apply sim unlock guides from different models to this one or if anyone has found an actual guide to this?
thankiees

Well I made a guide for this, but it involves unlocking with the device unlock app that comes with your device, which may be difficult if you're in the UK. Did you mean Galaxy Core or Galaxy Core Prime by the way? Not sure about GaIaxy Core, but I confirmed with MetroPCS that this device is one of the few that can ONLY be unlocked with the device unlock app. Normally you'd have to do 90 days of service with them before they will unlock it, but there are a few 3rd party companies that work with Metro for international people by helping you unlock your device through the unlock app for a fee. You would have to ask Metro though which ones are legit. Anyway, here is a link to my guide for more info.

You can also try to ask @rosalesmiguel from the 4th post on that thread. They apparently unlocked it through a 3rd party and might be able to provide more info.
