Hi, I am currently with AT&T but would prefer purchasing a t mobile S7 outright and unlocking it for use on AT&T. Anyone have any experiences with unlocking services?
Yap, I remember using https://www.unlockunit.com/ last year, charged me ~$20 for AT&T S6 Edge, and it worked.

Try these guys - www.cellunlocker.net. I've been using them for a long time and they've always come through for me.
Sim-unlock.net
Did mine last night
i have used cellunlocker.net before and they have been 100% able to unlock what i had. i even made the mistake of buying twice for some reason but they refunded me the 2nd one without me even asking. it's the new tmobile unlock app i havent tried yet. i tried getting them to unlock my tmobile s6 before but after a day or two they said they couldnt do it because of the new system and refunded me and i never tried again. but looks like they figured it out for the s6. i would try it but there is no way for me to test if it works. every sim i have and can borrow is tmobile
I wanna buy now a Sprint, Galaxy S7, and use it on the Verizon network, because Verizon has less capabilities to play around with software. but Verizon is still the better service, so I wanna stick to them, so does anybody know if Sprint still locks their LTE phones? And will it work 100% on the Verizon network, and how will it work internationally on the GSM network, can someone please educate me in this Subject?
Try this service: www.unlockradar.com if you want to unlock your Glaxy S7. Customer support is very responsive and they can asist you at any time.

I know their are services I just wonder if anyone has actually used one yet on their ATT S7 and how that went? Thanks.
I used http://mobileunlocked.com. They sent it in a day and a half for 25 bucks. They sent 3 codes. I only needed the network unlock though. Great service and it works. Unlocked an att branded phone I got from Craigslist.
You can www.unlockradar.com , they sell genuine unlocking codes for Galaxy S7 or any other phone.
I have aquired a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge from a friend for cash instead of having a equipment installment plan through t-mobile. Currently using a note 3. But wanted to upgrade.
Ok, so my biggest dilema, I have the s7 edge that had a sprint logo on the back, and when started, the sprint logo and theme comes on. I insert my sim and it is network locked. I did some research and found that I have to have a network unlock code. So I buy one from unlocked.com. The code they sent me didn't work. Then they sent me more codes to try. Needless to say, none of them have worked. I've been trying to unlock this phone for a week now. Is there a way to install a factory samsung rom that would boot the phone like a factory unlocked unit?
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you
I am pretty confident there is no workaround as the cell radio inside a Sprint Phone will not communicate on Tmobile towers. Tmobile and AT&T work together and depending on the phone Verizon phones will work once unlocked on AT&T and Tmobile.

Yea, just putting in a code won't work. You have to either get it unlocked by Sprint directly or through a third-party service that will remotely connect to your phone from online.

I need to unlock a S7 also. I'm from a diffrent country, I believe the phone is from England, but don't know what cell provider the phone is from.
Can I still unlock it via a third-party service?
I am interested in trying Tmobile for service but have a phone issue. I currently have Verizon service with a S5. Tmobile has advised me that my S5 would not work great on their network. They suggested that I buy an S8 to give their network the proper test. But if I do not like the service coverage, I understand their S8 would not work properly on the Verizon network if I were to switch back. So, I would like to know if I purchased an S8 from Verizon would it work well on the Tmobile network. Also, if I purchased an unlocked S8 from Samsung would it work well on both Tmobile and Verizon.
Please give me your advise.

Some "unlocked " phones are gsm only and Verizon is cdma(I think the s8 and plus have all bands though not 100%sure). Make sure it's compatible 1st. I setup Verizon s5s and s6s for people on T-Mobile before besides the sim card isn't from Verizon message when you 1st boot up they worked fine for them. Make sure apns are correct and don't use Verizon message app you'll be ok to try network.

If you truly want the S8 no matter which service you end up with, get the unlocked us version (like at Best buy) it should be both GSM and CDMA.

An unlocked version from Samsung.com should serve you better on both of your carriers. I have an unlocked S8, purchased from Samsung and I use it with T-Mobile.
Read the first portion and then scroll to the bottom for fine print and you will find your answer.

Thanks for the response
I have my sprint locked galaxy s7 sm-g930p but recently switched to t-mobile. The phone i was using on t-mobile broke today and I need to get my sprint s7 working for the t-mobile network if it all possible. What would be the best way to get this phone working a different network? I've seen posts about unlocking services but they seem like they might be a scam and I've also seen about flashing the unlocked versions firmware onto the phone but im not sure if that would even unlock the sim or not. What is the easiest way to go about unlocking this damn phone?
Thank you for any help on this.
Alright, I purchased this phone off of a friend who discontinued their service with Sprint. Their account was in good standing, and they'd had the phone on the account over 50 days, so it was eligible to be unlocked. I currently have a Nexus 6, which works fine, but the screen is shattered. I wanted to use the S7 EDGE while I get the screen fixed on the Nexus 6.
I've called Sprint on numerous occasions, and they've 'unlocked' the phone; however, when I put the T-mobile SIM card in, I get invalid SIM. I've tried factory resetting with just the T-Mobile SIM as well, and I get the same result. I did some research online, and talked to some people, and I got mixed responses. I've heard that you can't use a Sprint S7 EDGE on T-Mobile because one's GSM and one's CDMA. However, I've also seen that some people have success in using Sprint S7 EDGE on T-Mobile.
I did a bit more research, and I saw that some suggested flashing the SM-G935U ROM, which is the unlocked ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I tried this as well using ODIN, and still get invalid SIM.
Can anyone please provide some advice on what steps I need to take in order to get this unlocked? I've spent a lot of time researching this on the internet, and still haven't found a clear solution to what I'm encountering.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Sounds like the device is locked. So therefore you need to use a 3rd party unlocking service, or if you have access to a z3x box then you can perform the unlock yourself :good:
