hello..
i connect my N7 to Behringer uca200 via otg to jbl ms8
i try run calibration and it show on JBL lcd that the signal low (signal of uca200 from N7)
i volume up in tablet and in jbl ms8 to full.. and the sound was not so high.
in manual of uca200 wrote that it own 2v output.
there is anyway to increase the volume od uca200 from N7?
(i try '[MOD] [N7] BEATS+XLOUDER! 4.4/4.3 [20/12/13] ☆ #BangonPhilippines" and no change in dac volume)
Just curious, say you've set the volume level of your car at a certain level. Then you set up your 2015 X to stream music to the car. How loud is that compared to plugging your phone's headphone output to the car's AUX input, without changing the car's speaker volume?
From my experience itsbvirtually the same. Although my Bluetooth dongle just broke andbi ordered an in car dlna setup to replace it instead so I can't test itbnow
Hi all-
I'm using this usb type C to usb connector inside my audi for playing music off of the Nexus 6p through the car's Android Auto:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010VFFSL4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I specifically got this one since it meets USB-C spec as many cables out there that boast high transfer rates can ruin your equipment. I'm using the latest WETA ROM and have tried a myriad of combinations by turning off/on Viper mod, configuring its settings, also tuning the eq in my car, etc.
What's weird is that music over bluetooth sounds like much better quality than wired with this USB type C connection. I got an awesome aftermarket sub and amp installed in the car but it seems to bring out the deeper issue. It's when music (mainly rock) has all instrumentals blending that the sound becomes distorted and overloaded. Because our phones already have poor max volume output, I'm having to max out the volume in the car. Also with android auto, you can't use the volume rockers on the phone it seems...seems to override the sound volume.
Anyone have any idea? In this car I can't seem to play music with aux cable (maybe an iPhone would work) and USB stick doesn't mount songs. Don't know if it's the cable I bought, the ROM (has the A.R.I.S.E. mod built in), or the DAC in the AUDI?
Thanks
Hello
I had a question about the HiFi Dac.
My M50X is low impedance (30s) so it only activates "Normal audio device" when i enable HiFi Audio
but, if i disconnect the cable from my headphone and only plug the cable into the phone, it turns on "External Audio Device" setting of the HiFi Dac instead of saying "normal audio device" and is definitely louder!
Is there any difference between this external audio device (aux) mode and High Impedance mode?

I really dont understand why my Xiaomi MI A1 sounds better than my Axon 7 when I use the AUX in my car? I really dont understand why because I have to lower my volume 3 steps back from full for the sound to be clear on my AXON 7?

You really don't understand how an AUX works?
The Axon 7 has the DACs, but it also has 10 volt amplifiers. Those are made for driving high-impedance drivers. Your aux is not a driver. hence it distorts when you input 10 volts to it
Try to minimise equalisation also. You overload the input stage of the headunit. I run a 4 channel amp in my car for the doors and a separate amp for the subs. I equalise partly on the phone and partly by the amps and none by the headunit. Can push the volume really high with clarity but I also keep the phone below maximum volume simply because it can and will overload the input. Any other of my devices will not overload it like the Axon beast.
Mostly I will use BT in the car. Less issues and I have stalk controls and inbuilt BT for the HU. I prefer to use the 3.5 jack for headphones as Choose an username suggests.
Most regular phones have a lower headphone output which is closer to line levels and presents less of an impedance mismatch issue.

The Mi A1 has a 10 volt amp too !
Try switching to the standard DAC when using car aux? It's less powerful than the 'HiFi' DAC. Alternatively Bluetooth doesn't involve the double amplification pathway that AUX in methods entail.

Bluetooth doesn't use any part of the audio D/A system (no dac, no amp) xd
I didn't say that it did, I said unlike using an aux in source it isn't :
-amplified by your phone's amp
-amplified again by your head units amp.
Using Bluetooth moves the D->A conversion from the phone to the head unit, after which the signal only needs to be amplified once, which depending on the source can result in a cleaner sound
