Well, Hi !
I was using LG G2 LS980 for about 6 months, one month ago i've got a dead zone touchscreen issue, with a 1cm of not working touch around the powerbutton. But then it went worse.
1. Firstly it crashed and turned off while using camera
2. Then it just randomly turned off
3. Now it doesn't boots at all, just a bootloop.
The processor is extremely hot, it was about 67°C, when i was able to boot it.
I still can access Recovery Mode, Download and Safe mode (the all three buttons, still it bootloops).
I've tried to push ZVC, ZVE using LG FlashTool, success in flashing, but still a bootloop.
Wipe data doesn't helps at all.
Any ideas besides trash bin ?
Sounds like you may have a jacked up partition. But you did not mention flashing a ROM. I assume you did.
Your issue isn't quite the same as this, but perhaps this could help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/mega-tut-how-to-fix-bricked-lg-g2-t3055033
Thanks, but i've mentioned, that i've flashed ZVC and ZVE .tot files using LGFlashTool with success in flashing, but the bootloop still persists. It is showing a secure boot error sometimes, still flashing a ROM is pointless.
Btw, no fastboot error

So I was running CWM (Philz) I believe, and I had been running into issues while on rooted 4.2.2 D800 stock ROM. There were force closes and random reboots, etc. I've only installed xposed mods. I've also used android tuner to adjust some of the build.prop and kernel presets.
However, after my phone got stuck in what I thought was a boot loop, I finally got it up and running. What happened next was odd. I tried booting into recovery -> the "LG" splash screen showed up and it went into another infinite boot loop.
I'm assuming I somehow corrupted or lost my recovery. Any advice on what to do? I don't know if I should follow the original instructions for flashing a recovery here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2633150.
Edit: Jesus christ my phone infuriates and confuses the hell out of me. After attempting to enter the recovery again, I am now stuck in a permanent boot loop. The last time I fixed it was by turning my phone off....and then *WAITING*.
What? That doesn't make sense you say? Of course it doesn't. But that's still what worked. I waited 12 hours, and then tried turning it on again. When I did, oh look, the AT&T screen!
CONFUSING. help please...
Double edit (Hard Mode): Going into download mode when I'm in this constant bootloop = nothing happens. That little icon that says "Download Mode" with the 5 blue circles just stays there, and my laptop ends up not recognizing anything. This happened the last time too, and all I was able to see on my laptop was "QHSUSB_BULK". I thought this meant that I would have to do a complete wiping process through Linux (found on another thread somewhere), but apparently waiting 12 hours also fixed the problem.
hello!
some time ago i talked with my s4 (for 1+ hour)and charged the same time and phone started reboot randomly.
i have tried flashing other FW, bootloader and recovery - no help. tried to update to lollipop.
after that i broke screen (you may understand why).
changed it
Now i tried flashing stock 4.4.2 FW, recovery and csc, but cant get even into recovery, i always get blue screen.
Is there any way to revive my phone? can't find any information about bluescreen at all. is my hardware dead?
Download mode works (only it).
update: twrp recovery works now, i am able to mount usb storage to pc with no problem, tried to copy backup to phone memory-blue screen again. something wrong is with memory. what is possible to do with this?
update2: phone is working. installed stock lollipop, random reboots and sometimes blue screen again. don't know what to do more. please help anybody
update3: internal storage lost. twrp show internal storage 0B. unable to flash kernel or anything else.
never mind. mainboard is probably dead
Hey guys, I've been trying to fix a friends Bell G2 D830 to no avail. The phone basically freezes and reboot randomly. Could be during booting, while in android or even in download(fastboot) mode. I've done a factory reset, refashed via LG Flash Tool, flashed the partitions using the qualcom mode 9006 and it still freezes and reboots on it own.
I think the phone has some sort of defect but wanted to run it by everyone first before I tell them the phone is toast.
Thanks
Every time I try to flash a TOT using LGUP, it gets to around 15% and my phone shuts off, then goes to black screen/Qualcomm 9006 status. I then use SRK Tool to unbrick and try flashing again, but nothing changes. Same result every time. Also same with 2 different versions of LGFlashTool. Have repeated this process probably 100 times now with each of the three D800 TOTs provided here in user hyelton's thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476. It seems nothing will work. Am I holding a paperweight?
P.S. I previously flashed LineageOS 14.1 over stock 5.0.2 using TWRP. That seemed to work, but then every time I tried to flash GApps the phone would suddenly reboot. It got stuck on the LineageOS boot animation/wouldn't boot. Did I mess something up there? Partitions or something? Is there a way to fix this so that a flash will complete? I'm just trying to get a working phone back now.
Any help hugely appreciated!
I have an older LG G6 thar ran into some custom ROM issues. i got a new phone so its been shelfed. Recently a friend broke their phone so I thought I could revert mine back to stock using the LG Up tool. it detected the correct model, ran the process but it must have got cut off or something because it rebooted but it never loads the ROM. Left on its own it boots to the LG logo and doesn't go further. Attempting to boot into recovery or into download mode shows a rainbow circle that says erasing for a second then reboots on its own. I can get it to the MEID screen but that doesn't obviously do anything.
Anyone know of any options or am I just brickled?

Quick update, I got it into fastboot mode but Im sure what I can from here. Any suggestions?
nevermind I got it back up and running. I tried a lot of stuff like flashing the laf to get back into download, flashing a recovery, unlocking the bootloader again, with a reboot between each step.
What eventually worked was unlocking and then relock the bootloader and after a reboot it was working again. Im not sure why this worked or if it would work for anyone else
