i updated my yureka to 5.0..2 ota but now i am facing problem my google apps are not working properly and i got an update for security and power improvements its not installing please help
First wipe cache & dalvik cache... Reboot.
If error not fixed,
Do a factory reset, wipe cache & dalvik cache (if rooted, make data backup using titanium backup or similar app & later restore the data if needed for every app)
Goto setting and then go into security and there go to device administration and then untick android device administration and then update your Google play services and then yu can tick android device administration again and your problem is solved

I have read that when installing a new ROM you should boot into recovery and wipe data & factory reset, wipe the cach partition and dalvik cache.
As this wipes all your Apps and settings, how do those of you who regularly do this replace all your Apps and settings?
I have also read that it is not wise to restore the using backups from a different ROM so does that mean going back to Google Store?

Titanium Backup is your friend. Introduce yourself to it on the Play store and enjoy the goodness!
Sent from your phone. You should be careful where you leave that thing.

Hello Guys,
I have came back to tinkering with my defy and I understand that Quarx's new rom has some bugs but I haven't seen or read where this is happening? So everytime I reboot the settins are restored (wifi, background, time, etc.). I came from Quarx's 4.1.2 rom with full wipe and fresh install of 4.3 rom. Another problem is that I also flashed TJKV's minimal gapps for 4.3 and market crashes right away and now my browser is also doing the same which it hadn't before. I have been through worse with this phone but now I can't seem to get pass this problem.

Try a clean install. Wipe system, data and cache. Then install cm10.2, and gapps. I generally remove a couple apks from the system partition after installation

Hey there, I did wipe system, data, and cache but I think the problem is that every time I do it in twrp it says failed but it also says completed. The log says that it failed to mount data and system so I think this is causing the problem.
I used aroma to wipe sys, data, and cache before installing rom but still have the same error. Browser and playstore is currently not fc on me anymore and it is just that the settings aren't being saved after reboot.
Good, now convert data and cache to ext4 from boot menu

I bought a clone samsung s4 19500 from bangkok last month.I downloaded an uninstaller (uninstall manager) from play store.Maybe by mistake i uninstalled some system file((Android OS,some mediatek file etc) to decrease internet data usage and my phone showed error messages.I quickly reinstalled somee uninstalled system apps using the backup files made by the backup data stored by the uninstaller program.but the error messages stated to increase.i removed my battery and when i opened the s 4 again it only kept on showing the opening message of "SAMSUNG" with some sound).what to do.plz help:
I also did the system restore/factory reset option by using power+vol up key but it did't help.i cleared user data also. What to do now?
THERE ARE THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS
1.its a clone and i cannot go into the download mode.
2. my s4 cannot be rooted or unrooted and its just in a bootloop.
3.I did not have any recovery software (backup file in my phone).
4.help me otherwise I would be in big trouble.plz, plz just once.help me.
IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN INSTALL A NEW ROM FROM SD CARD WITHOUT ROOTING OR CAN I ROOT MY PHONE IN THIS CONDITION.I CAN ONLY GO TO RECOVERY MODE IN WHICH THERE ARE FOLLOWING OPTIONS.
1.reboot system now.
2.apply update from ADB
3.apply update from sdcard
4.wipe data/factory reset.
5.wipe cache partition
6.backup user data.
7.restore user data.
THANK YOU in advance.I believe that u will help me out.plz plz plz plz plz.
I'm on a Rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Sprint model with Lolipop version 5.
So I went into Recover Mode & selected the wipe cache option, after spending several hours reading older posts here about how this is a good thing & is just spring cleaning & will do no harm to your phone & might even speed up your phone.
I selected it & then I selected reboot & then promptly got an error message on the dead droid icon & then this message :
"Process system isn't responding
do you want to close it?"
THEN I get several more pop ups
unfortunately, MTP app stopped
unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped
unfortunately, Settings has stopped
unfortunately, Security log agent stopped
unfortunately, Touchwiz home has stopped
unfortunately, Google play services has stopped
I get those messages over & over again, can't log in at all.
How screwed am I?
How can I fix it without doing a factory reset again?
EDIT
in the recovery meni i have these options now
reboot system now
apply update from adb
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
apply update from cache
at the bottom is
# manual mode #
-- applying multi-csc..
applied the csc-code: spr
Successfully applied multi-csc.
What do I do?
You are not root...in your recovery that s stock message....factory reset and voila.....or flash stock odin
I think I was on root because I was able to use Titanium Backup & uninstall preloaded apps.
Is there no other way other than factory reset?
What about
-apply update from adb
-apply update from external storage
-apply update from cache
Can they fix the problem?
How to fix this? Sync/backup disabled. Already tried to wipe a cache partition.
