[Q] Bricked phone trying to clear cache partition? HELP! - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm on a Rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Sprint model with Lolipop version 5.
So I went into Recover Mode & selected the wipe cache option, after spending several hours reading older posts here about how this is a good thing & is just spring cleaning & will do no harm to your phone & might even speed up your phone.
I selected it & then I selected reboot & then promptly got an error message on the dead droid icon & then this message :
"Process system isn't responding
do you want to close it?"
THEN I get several more pop ups
unfortunately, MTP app stopped
unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped
unfortunately, Settings has stopped
unfortunately, Security log agent stopped
unfortunately, Touchwiz home has stopped
unfortunately, Google play services has stopped
I get those messages over & over again, can't log in at all.
How screwed am I?
How can I fix it without doing a factory reset again?
EDIT
in the recovery meni i have these options now
reboot system now
apply update from adb
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
apply update from cache
at the bottom is
# manual mode #
-- applying multi-csc..
applied the csc-code: spr
Successfully applied multi-csc.
What do I do?

You are not root...in your recovery that s stock message....factory reset and voila.....or flash stock odin

I think I was on root because I was able to use Titanium Backup & uninstall preloaded apps.
Is there no other way other than factory reset?
What about
-apply update from adb
-apply update from external storage
-apply update from cache
Can they fix the problem?

[Q] is my galaxy s4 soft bricked or hard bricked? can I fix it? help please

so I tried to install a custom "rom negalite-s4-r41" I installed it all fine, when I was at boot screen it keeps repeating boot screen. I tried to wipe data/cache. It didn't do anything. it says my sd card is not mounted and when I try to mount it, it just says error. I can boot into download and I plan to try to install a stock non rooted everything with odin. I can boot into system recovery, but the ittle droid falls over with the red exclamation point. I can choose the follow options "Reboot system, Apply update from ADB, apply update from external storage, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, apply update from cache" I have tried reboot system just repeats reboot like I said, I have no clue what ADB is, apply update from external storage says it fails to mount sd, I have wiped data/factory reset, I did do the cache partition, my update from cache is all empty. Please help, I'm sitting in panera bread off their wifi because i have no internet at my house, this really sucks.

I had a similar situation. I was able to Odin crawrj's Stock/Rooted/Deodexed/Stock Recovery ROM. Factory reset from stock recovery after you Odin the ROM.

Retrieving files from Note 3 which doesn't boot

Hello, please help
I have Samsung Note 3 with custom Omega ROM.
Today I had constant errors "Process com.android.systemui has stopped". The phone was not usable.
I tried to clear cache, no success. Then I wiped /data and /system, which resulted in the phone not booting anymore. A mistake, I know.
I would like to fix the situation or, if I have to install the new system anyway, just to download all the user files (photos etc.) from Internal memory of the phone to my PC via the USB cable. But the phone is not booting anymore.
How to do that?
Flash stock rom via Odin see stickies .
You may lose some files .
just flash official firmware by odin, don't worry you will not lose your data (music, photos, ...). now after finishing and optimizing apps the phone will restart. if you see black screen then flash twrp and select wipe then swipe the arrow. don't chose advanced wipe. now reboot
after all that if you still want omega rom, no problem just download the latest version and before flashing in twrp do advanced wipe and check all options except internal storage & sd card
i tried all that on my n9005.

Play store not working properly after restoring stock from twrp

I have noticed recently that when I restore my stock ROM from twrp that some apps don't update and some can't be downloaded, they get stuck at the download pending or downloading screen and never download. Had anyone ever encountered this problem? The stock ROM is not rooted or modified in any way.
So I am encountering this issue as well. Very odd behavior after restoring the stock build after coming from Lineage. What I getting is an Error Code 0 when trying to update some apps. While uninstalling the error coded app does not allow a re-installation. Again with an Error Code 0 (which turns up nothing when trying to search Google for the error). I've tried all the basic stuff, like clearing the Playstore's data, clearing the trouble apps data, rebooting, etc. They just simply fail to update/install. It's not happening with every app, just some. Dropbox being a notable one. I simply cannot install it. Infact I side loaded it and it immediately force closes upon trying to open. This has to be some odd permission issue.
Wipe cache and dalvik cache?
I seemed to have the found the solution. Before I restore I had to wipe everything except my microSD card where my backups are saved. That includes wiping internal storage. So wipe system, dalvik, cache and internal storage, then restore from SD card and everything worked fine after that

With my old motorolas if I made a root and try to make an update, the updater failed with a mistake, I supposed that you used magisk, and the root was hide for the system and if you only modify the build.prop to enable screen cast, my only advice to you is to restore a stock firmware that will help you really well with your problem, the easiest option for me is to install a zip based stock firmware to not to have to install RSD flasher and those stuff I will let you the link I hope this will help you.

1. Wipe system, cache, dalvik-art
2. Erase manually in the TWRP the internal (Sdcard/Android) folder, and do the same in your (external_sd) folders.
Just in case make a copy of all your internal data, in drive and google fotos.
Thank you so much for the guidance
i do really appreciate your advice. yes you got it right, i have used magisk and build.prop to enable screen cast, but i novice to all this, i did not understand below options. hot do it, you mean, i have to reboot device and wipe system, cache, dalvik-art

Hi? if I understood your reply is about if you have to make the steps I post on that time, the answer is no, I'm not sure but I was talking about someone returning to stock or something, if you enable the screen cast you'll be able to see the "hamburger menu" in the android screen settings, that let you to make the screen cast, what's your exact problem?
