I had to go in and select the correct APN again. It filled up with other ones as well and nothing was selected.

That fixed the issue. Thank you!
I take it I'll lose root if I update. If I do lose root how could I gain it back? I did a search and turned up with nothing of use.

No, it won't wipe your device.
I flashed the latest build on my Verizon device no issues. There isn't any ROM specific things for the nexus 6,. even though google says its tmobile only on their website. I think thats because maybe itllbe the only wifi calling supported ROM they release for the nexus 6.
Im on 5.1, root and custom recovery how to flash it without losing anything? Root or data. Can I use flashfire, select flash ota zip??

LYZ28E (T-Mobile image) radio is MDM9625_104649.09.05.14R
LMY47D (Verizon OTA) radio is MDM9625_104446.01.02.98R
And the previous builds have even lower build numbers. Pretty sure the T-Mobile image/OTA radio is newer. Not that that makes it necessarily better, to be sure.
So this isn't specific to Tmobile? - Been waiting for this for AGES!!

I can only judge by the filename
LYZ28E: radio-shamu-d4.01-9625-05.14+fsg-9625-02.93
LMY47I: radio-shamu-d4.0-9625-02.95
LMY47E: radio-shamu-d4.0-9625-02.98 (This was the Verizon Build)
LMY47D: radio-shamu-d4.0-9625-02.95
While the LMY47x Builds have a radio image of 83.4MB, the LYZ28E Radio is "only" 65.9MB
Not sure whether something missing or new compression algorithm
I'm just wondering where the open international images are at. Isn't very nexus for a us carrier to get them first.

I was wondering the same thing since all Nexus are the same. I am guessing that WiFi calling only works for T-Mobile so any other prepaid carrier that tries to use WiFi calling won't work, and since Google doesn't want any confusion they release it for only Tmo
Since I've been using it I haven't even seen a WiFi calling option

It's happening! LMY47Z.
Not yet hitting my phone, but perhaps by tomorrow ...
I had Verizon's 5.1 build on my phone, but I didn't wait. I just flashed 47Z because I'm on an AT&T MVNO, so I don't know if I would have received the OTA.
It's not on the official Nexus factory image page.

Someone on androidcentral forums confirmed it is. they received LMY47Z as an OTA to their verizon nexus 6 last night coming from E.
I got the ota yesterday, unrooted, flashed stock recovery, and went to accept the ota, started flashing then it said error and stopped, now it says up to date
I just want know if they changed radio but I doubt
Does it have any "Verizon authorized software" added?
I hope it doesn't but according to the letters Verizon sent out responding to the FCC complaints that is why they would not activate a nonVerizon Nexus 6 on their network until Google said that the software could be sent out to those phones via the OTA.

More like they wanted an ota to convert it to the VZW version and they got it. The bloat wasn't really the issue.

Same baseband as the existing LMY47Z
To anyone who's receiving the OTA from LMY47E to LMY47Z - if you're able to, please take a few minutes to grab the OTA URL and share it in this thread. Instructions for getting the OTA URL can be found here, and this will allow people who haven't received the OTA to sideload it.
Thanks!
Question, I have a VZW Nexus 6 I got from a Verizon store a few weeks ago. My firmware version is LMY47l
Is that the correct one? I see you guys talking about an "E" version... When I went back from Android M preview, did I flash the wrong stock ROM in Wugs Nexus Root Toolkit?

Nope and if a phone from Verizon came with that, you were likely sold a returned device instead of a new one.

No, this is my fault. I tried out the Android M preview, and got tired of the FC's and bugs, so I used the Nexus Tool Kit to flash back to stock, and I guess I grabbed the wrong firmware download. I have the Z version for Verizon and will flash that to get me back on track.

Hi
Got a Nexus 6p from google. I have flashed Purenexus and ElementX kernel onto it.
Work well except, I am on optus and in some areas ( Central Station, Burwood station, some places around CBD), I loose connectivity.
So typically I lose data access - so games stop etc etc. I have data show up when its Rx/Tx. so I can see. still says I have 5 bars but no data
Usually the only way to fix this is to goto airplane mode and then come back out.
This is a real pain. I don't remember having this problem on telstra.
So I thought maybe I don't have the right modem firmware (what am i supposed to call it ?).
How can I check what version i have
And can any one recommend a newer / better / latest one that should work with optus ???

Question is there a newer radio.
I find my data drops when I receive a call .. don't think that did that before
Guys, Android Nougat 7.1 is now available for all Snapdragon variant Galaxy Note 4s (which of-course include N910P Sprint variant) and as a result, I'm sharing here the link of the thread from where you can get an insight about the latest development of the ROM & other things.
The link is :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon/development/cyanogenmod-14-1-t3495231
Kindly thank & support @hsbadr for all his hard work & time devotion for the ROM.
(I'm in no way to be associated with this ROM as this is solely the work of @hsbadr. All the credit goes to him for it).
The ROM works quite well on unlocked variant of N910P model with a GSM SIM Card.
Users on a Sprint network need to check about the feasibility of the ROM.
If anyone is interested in trying out the ROM, then kindly thanks @hsbadr & have a look at the below mentioned steps that I took to make it work on my N910P model using a GSM SIM Card.
1. This ROM even works on newest PJ1 bootloader & baseband. So, you can try it out without worries if you have taken the latest OTA update.
2. Perform a full nandroid backup of the current ROM.
3. Wipe all the partitions 3 times (except Micro SD Card) using latest TWRP recovery.
4. Download the ROM, GApps & Boot.img from the above thread mentioned & flash it in the following order:
a. ROM
b. GApps
c. Boot.img
5. Wait for the ROM to boot (it may take upto 15-20 minutes to boot, so be patient).
6. Complete the setup.
7. Enjoy Nougat on your device. :good:
Bug(s) that I've encountered:
1. YouTube videos have no sound on Bluetooth headset/plugs.
Kindly keep all the discussions related to N910P variant on this thread only so as to keep that thread clean.
The ROM is primarily meant for Verizon variant but works well with other variants too.
Will def have to check this out, Thanks!

It might work. Go & check yourself.
I'm using this ROM. The boot.img is not necessary to flash. Just flash the ROM and gapps like any other CM variant. I use sprint and had to fiddle with the *#*#4636#*#* menu for data/SMS to work and have to toggle airplane after a reboot but for an early build it's great. Battery has been wonderful. Other than the mentioned streaming issue (issue isn't present when streaming over Bluetooth) I've only run into GPS being fickle.

For me, the audio did not work with or without a Bluetooth headset.
Now, I'm not able to place any call (without any Bluetooth device) even when there is good network.
Also, Couldn't hear any voice even on Chrome, but yes, for an early build, the work is definitely amazing by the developer.

Thanks, I finally seen that info in change log. But from what I've read in last few post, it looks like latest build has some extra bugs. So i think I'll try the trlte build for now.
That's what i took from it anyhow.
Does it matter which gapps i use? (Eg. Aroma, full, micro?)
I'm heading to work, so when i get more time I'll try, and maybe try root and exposed.

Don't believe xposed works on 7.1 yet, root hasn't been an issue at all for me. I did flash supersu 2.78 though instead of using the cm root. For gapps I used the micro since it was small to avoid conflicts but still had exchange included.
Not sure if it effects just the N910P model or not, but trying to access any .webm files crashes the entire phone. I can't even open the gallery up or it crashes.

What is a webm file? I'll test on mine if I can get one.
I just got around to installing. Anyone else having problems using root with default file manager? I can't open any thing but internal. But fx file works with root.
So it must be file manager
I downloaded the CM 14.1 and it works fine but I couldn't download gapps from github because for me this site downloads don't work.
So I didn't test a lot of things just make some calls (CDMA Carrier) and take some tour in system settings then I returned to Touchwiz rom again.
I want to use Nougat on my HTC 10. I have the verizon version of the phone, but don't mind converting to any other version if necessary (or just easier) to move to Nougat.
I've been reading for days, but can't find any solid, complete information on how to do this, or really if even possible. I've found lots of pieces of the puzzle, but nothing that lists the steps, or requirements for making this work.
If you know how to get a Verizon phone working on Nougat firmware and have a working phone and data, I'd love to know EXACTLY how you managed to do so. If I can't have advanced calling right now, that's okay with me, but I do need a working phone and data at a minimum.
I've installed PMEUHL_2.28.401.9 firmware and LeeDroid_ROM_Nougat_HTC10_R21, but had to change the phone to SuperCID 1111111 to get it to install. I also had to change the firmware packages' android.txt file to have the MID match the phone (MID2PS650000).
I have everything running, but have no phone or data, so I'm stuck with wifi only at this point.
I don't mind if I have to wipe the phone again to get it working (I'd rather not), so long as I can use the phone on Verizon again.
Is it possible I just need to flash the verizon radio at this point, or do I just need to start from scratch?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Have you tried formatting data?
In TWRP > wipe > format data > (type) yes
(do at own risk, it won't hurt anything, just will wipe your internal. you ARE warned)
------------------
Side note, Advanced Calling only works on one ROM, and that is @santod040 amazing port found here
I run SuperCID all the time, It's suggested to do 22222222 instead of 11111111 but not a biggie at all.
I run Verizon firmware with multirom. I have my stock ROM as primary (this is a must) and then I can flash any N ROM as a secondary.
I have ICE N ROM, Leedroid N ROM, Santods ROM, AOKP MM and CM 14.1 all loaded up and working great with data.
----------------
As for what you want,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70104011&postcount=3
You could wait a little bit longer for it to be released. It's not far away.
For NuSense ROM do we still need to install with data unencrypted? I assume so because I don't think TWRP is updated for Android N. Thanks.
I'm on the new viper 4.3.1 which is N based without upgrading firmware. everything working pretty well and has great tweaks and theming. Give it a shot.
wifi calling and video calling seem to be bugged but the advanced calling is active for hd voice
id do it this way until Verizon updates, itll be soon.
Might just stay on MM, Idk I'm torn. If NuSense has VZW features working bug free I'll give that a shot

On the Downloads tab of the HTC 10 TWRP thread, there is an unofficial version of TWRP v3.0.2.7 which supports Nougat firmware. If you're still on Marshmallow firmware and use a Nougat ROM on it, you still might want to use the official TWRP v3.0.2.6.

When I was running N I couldn't browse the web and be on a phone call simultaneously. Also, HD calling and video calling did work for me. This was on LeeDroid N and I also tried Viper 2.4.0 with the same results.
Viper Nougat 4.x.x works perfectly fine on VZW Marshmallow firmware, except no advanced calling (wifi calling and VoIP).
Make sure to choose 6.0.1 firmware in the last option of Aroma to have fingerprint scanner working, as well as mobile data. (if you are on MM firmware!!) ROM does NOT install firmware.

Advanced calling is bugged on HTC's end, and will be until either an incremental official update or until a fix is found. TL: DR it will be bugged in all roms based of HTC N.

But advanced calling works fine on test N ROMs on the Verizon 10, so you'll just have to wait for the OTA to drop.

With Verizon N firmware, which is truly what's missing here, the updated radio...from that elusive OTA.

I dont know about you guys but I've got a notification from Verizon saying 2.28 is ready to download. Hopefully its not much longer until everything is working perfectly.

I think you're probably running a custom Rom and seeing the notification for US Unlocked Nougat.
It's not a notification from Verizon at all.
There is no Verizon 2.28 Nougat update... It will not be 2.28.605.x when it's released.

I don't expect 2.28.605.x to be the number of the ROM version when it drops.

Correct, that's what I was saying as well.
As the current Nougat Vzw test builds are not 2.28 and aren't typically of the same number as other variants anyways...

I have a 64gig 6P on T-Mobile. I don’t know when the issue started, I use the phone as part of the digits program, but the cell signal is constantly dropping. It rotates through LTE, 3G, H then drops and starts over again in a few min. My S7 sitting next to it stays on LTE with no issue.
I thought it was a digits program beta issue so swapped sim cards. Did not help
I was on the android beta program, so took the device off and did a full reset with no additional apps installed. Did not help.
I did a search on the forum and the only advise I can find is to flash an older radio, but I haven’t read anywhere that this helped.
Has anyone found a way to fix this?
Phone is currently stock, non rooted, on 7.1.1 with march update and warranty just expired...
Thanks

No, I have not seen anyone say that it has actually solved the problem.

Well I'm using 3.79 on T-mobile and don't have any real signal issues, you could always try 3.78 to see if it helps.

Looks like I am on 3.78. Just checked. I wonder if that could be the problem, and if there's anyway to update to 3.79 without rooting and flashing?

You can use fastboot to flash the radio.

Baseband version 03.81 came with 7.1.2 and is available in the forums. 03.79 was intended for Verizon devices, but I used it on AT&T until 03.81 came out. Have you tried a different APN or modifying your APN. T-Mo has many. I would also try using a different carrier SIM, preferrably a non-MVNO. I've seen a lot of T-Mo users complaining on XDA of constant signal drops, cycling and having to reboot the phone to get it to reconnect to LTE. I hear you with the S7 comparison, but I'm still suggesting you try a different carrier SIM to rule out a hardware issue, which it could be.

Both a new radio and bootloader came with the new 7.1.2 image, but it is also available in General. There is a dedicated thread there. If you don't intend on updating to 7.1.2, I'd suggest you download both the baseband (03.81) and bootloader (03.67) and fastboot flash them. If you don't like it, you just flash back.

Downloading now and I might ty out the radio, thanks.
I'm having the same problem on a different carrier. It just started recently. Flashing an older radio did not fix the problem for me.
I loaded 7.1.2 with the new 3.81 but it's doing the same thing.

I'll see if anyone with a different carrier will let me use their sim.
Question have you updated carrier services in the play store?

Yep, everything is updated. Taking off the beta program again to try. Turns out my warranty runs out in April. So going to try to have it fixed under warranty...
Huawei is going to repair or replace it under warranty. I'll post on if this fixed the issue in a week or two.
Guys I am having the same issue. My Nexus 6P went out of warranty this Feb. I flashed 3.72, 3.75 and 3.79 but the issue still persists. I am on AT&T. Has anyone had any success with the newest Radio?

No, but it only takes a minute to try it out. If it doesn't work for you, just flash back to the radio that matches your bootloader. Like many have said the answer is not going to be a different radio.
