$99 - http://www.zeaplus.com/dm360.html
IP67 (so they claim)
320 mAh battery
Bluetooth 4.0
MTK2502A, 32RAM, 128 storage
42.5mm x 12.5mm x 255mm
1.22” IPS round capacitive touch screen, 240x240pixel
Heart rate monitor.
Some of you will get excited and @JarlSX will say, "next..."
lol, thanks for the mention
for a moment i thought you were posting the follow-up for the moto 360
i wonder what motorola has to say about this, even the watchfaces are copied
AND the flat tire design, doh!
thing with these watches is, there is no firmware support, no decent companion app, no apps (it has 32mb ram)
and it has a fixed amount of watch faces
so indeed: next!
The case design on the 360 is a near 1:1 clone of another watch, so except for maybe the watch faces, I doubt Moto can say much of anything.
The good thing about the DM360 is at that size, I know of a ton of real watch cases it would probably fit into with minor modifications. Granted that might be the only good thing about it.
Could zeaplus' manufacturering plant be used for a new potential watch case?
Considering it doesn't run Android Wear, it's a deal breaker, at least for me.
I have this watch, but doesn't look like anyone is making the rom updates, if a few things can be updated at least for china watches, this one looks great, would like to see it being able to push notifications of all popular social media, also a weather thing would be nice, but more importantly, if able to have updates of watch animation would be great, it came with 5 but they are not very appealing except for 1 or 2
Real images of DM360
Here's real image of the watch (thought I may as well share it)
Internals (thought i need to open it to change the strap turn out i don't)
want to change strap cause after 1 month of use, it became like this, but the watch itself has very good built quality, good news is that it uses standard 18mm straps
Still wish someone would mod the firmware tho, or some kind of update for the clock animation
Anyone heard of the dm365? It's already for sale and don't see a thread about it?

Thanks, that's great, I do got a bit overwhelm trying to do this, mainly because when i trying to choose "com port" after phone is connected to usb, it just say "not allow or conflict"
but then on Zealous site forum there's original rom to download, I wonder if that's the same?

My friend, don't take me wrong, please read very attentive every step there, reading your two lines about your try to connect I found two mistakes you did.
Now about the links you've send me, I checked inside the firmware:
A2508_F_PCB01_none_MT2502_S00.A2508B_F_ALPHA_01_V03_150521
do in dial pad *#8375# and check if the firmware in your watch is better, same version or an outdated one
As about what we can do in order to improve this watch: found already the start/end animations - I can make them changeable, as well I think I can make replaceable the watchfaces but for this I have need help - I do not own the watch so I cannot test MODs - there are some steps - if you agree we can go further, but first you have to learn how to use flash tool and for that get back to that link and try again to follow the steps EXACTLY as they are described there

Do not buy it, it is a lame copy, the price is huge relative to the product
dm360 contains a very weak processor and a small internal memory (16 MB if you can imagine that) and is running a small stupid OS (if we could call that thing a OS)
There is another alternative though, chinese android watches (I'm not talking about android wear) which are running full android system and are positioned at same price group with dm360 - check this guy on youtube
I git one and I dropped it on the floor and screen cracked
any idea if the screen can be replaced?
The back can be opened as I saw but would love to repair it. can't find any place that would do it.

Oh yeah, and winmobile 7 please...
(this is not a real phone, it's the HD2 made bigger, not larger but fatter, with photoshop, to highlight the possibility to attach a PicoP (now available as PEK for business tryouts) and the extra room for battery capacity -> for running the PEK)

Given how much effort HTC put into making the HD2 as thin as possible (low capacity battery, no front-facing camera, etc.) they clearly think you are the only person in the world who doesn't mind it being thicker and heavier. I doubt you will change their minds.
Yeah nor me!
If i wanted a fat phone I would of bought the N900! lol
Come on, it wouldn;t be that much bigger....
Maybe 3mm????
If they are going to bring out a Pro version, with maybe a keypad, than I'd rather have a picop than a keypad.
Having a touch pro at the moment, I dont mind this thickness.
With a screen that big, and a slightly bigger version like mentioned above, I reckon it wouldn't change that much in pocket space than I now experience with my Touch pro.
And if I had one, I wouldn;t do anything else in my pocket to prevent scratching!
HTC Rules!!!
And i'm not really sure if WinMo7 would be real advantage - Microsoft is definitely going wrong way.
I don't want another beautiful system with limitations on every step. If i ever be stupid enough to pay to be controlled - i'll buy iPoo.
Nokia knows what is going on - N900 has no locks, no limits - system is open and your phone is all yours!
I don't want stupid app store with millions apps and 99.99% of apps in store is complete crap.
All WinMo need is some improvement - full touch-ready UI, better WLAN management etc. And that's all

I don't mind N810. But N900 is a brick with a smaller screen and Nokia always chooses the hardware spec just kind of enough to things it's suppose to do. I think Maemo is pretty much a beta ware in the smartphone arena. No thanks and I'm definitely not buying another crappy Nokia for the time being.
It's not about buying Nokia or not. It's about device - is it yours when you buy it or not.
Even HTC is not fully yours. You have to fiddle with SPL or gold card to change language or system version. It's wrong. I like N900 idea - system is fully open and it's yours. Phone is coming with root credentials and you can do anything you want - if you want.
At the other end is iPoo or Palm Pre - you have no control what phone is doing, manufacturer can wipe software you bought or wipe whole phone. This is good only for idiots, too stupid to know what to do with such device.
I'll be more than happy to see Nokia approach in HTC phone. I know it's not easy, because Windows is not open system. But i don't think it's the reason - on your PC all you need to do is buy licence. You can install different language as long it's same version. If you want, you can wipe HDD and install Linux. I want the same on my phone.

Dude, that statement is just wrong.
Chillax.
Some people couldn't give a **** about registry tweaks, modding, hacking etc etc.. but it doesn't make them idiots!
They have as much "control" as they need. Nobody is wiping their phone and they are not stupid just by being an end user!
It works for them (a good few million of them!), they are happy, leave 'em alone.

Yeah I was thinking about this the other day. When will the first OS-free device come out for consumers? You can choose your OS yourself just like a PC... Just buy the hardware that suits you the best and install whatever software you like the best... That sounds very sane to me!

Thats disgusting.
I applaud your thinking, this is a great image and hopefully continues to inspire discussion on this forum
Eh... just buy the extended battery which is coming out with the enlarged backcover. If there would be some HD2 Pro it would be a phone with a keyboard making it too thick for me. The thinness of the phone is what makes it bearable (in my pocket) so I'm happy with the way it is.
The extended battery IS an option though, will have to see what it looks like with that one on.
Hi everyone,
I am in the opportunity to swap my S4 with a Note 3, but the person claims this Note 3 is from Korea.
I am wondering if it's fake or not.
Screenshot he sent me : https://app.box.com/s/enjy529pg077nemwyc5j
It looks real, but I never heared about a Korean version (however Samsung is Korean, so it could very well be a normal version)
Can you guys tell if this is the real deal ?

Why would he want to swap (no offense) it unless something extra is in for him? It's like going from a super top of the range car to a phone that was top of the range 12 months ago...
Surely in Korea he (in a gadget filled world) be able to supply a picture of his phone in action, e.g. with him holding it and with a piece of paper with his email address and yours written on?
tell him to post the pic of benchmark of the phone took from camera from diffrent angle ..not screen shot

Sometimes people buy something and regret it within a few days.
And then they are looking for something simular, but smaller in size.
I have swapped phones many times and always had a very good deal out of it.
However one should always be very aware of fake (Chinese clones) phones.
And since the Chinese are getting better and better in cloning, it's sometimes really hard to see the difference.
I believe I have found the answer in the meantime myself : http://www.needrom.com/mobile/hdc-gt-n9000/
It's indeed a fake.....HDC GT-N9000 with a MTK6589 chipset
Let this post be a lesson to anyone who will get in the same position
Thats fake. The color is off and the battery percentage is a bit smaller than the original.
Also, I would want to see how cpu Z would read the specs of the device, and how it is going to perform under benchmarks.

The other hint should have been the size of the screenshot provided - the clones are not (yet) 1920x1080.
Also, the Samsung dialer codes don't work on the clones. That's a sure way to tell.
In the Play Store an app can be downloaded, called "Genuine Galaxy S4/Note3"
Download ; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hotdog.truth
Can be very usefull as well

Yup, Anything can be cloned to look the part, heck even the software clone itself is close enough until closer inspection. - Golden rule I guess in buying a second hand model.
Make sure you give it a really good test run, test the apps, have a look at the battery and insides to make sure that it says SAMSUNG (A few have SUMSANG believe it or not!) - As mentioned elsewhere, a genuine seller will have no objections to you looking over it. Oh and never ever buy blind - if you ain't seen it or felt it in your hand, it ain't worth the risk of a scam.
And real samsung Note3 is start with SM-N code not GT-N9000 like shown in your system info screenshot...

The one with the Samsung logo isn't the official Note 3 either. Could be a prerelease or whatever, but that is not what it should look like.
Update: when taking a closer look, I actually think it is the first of the Note series. All proportions, the speaker mesh and sensors seems to match that look.
Ya haha the top sensors are wrong, the bottoms too wide and button is too rectangular

It's supposed to be as fast as the HTC One X according to one benchmark.
I think it's neat.
there is only one way to do the things right and have peace of mind, get your phones from carriers or authorized dealers, always the real thing, an always covered by warranty, in irder to save money, many get their phones anywhere, literally on the streets sometimes, but, at what cost later?, I have seen many post like, my home button is loose, have a smear on screen, the colors are horrible, the powee button doesnt work, the screen has a gap, etc, etc, all those problems get solved by warranty, that is why you pay the full price, peace of mind

Lol phone of the year 12 months ago, really one of the worst upgrades ever. I just couldn't help myself had to comment,
Finally! A smartwatch that's simple, good-looking and affordable. I'm talking about the Martian Notifier.
My concern however, is that it's affordable. I don't need my watch to make my phones calls, or run my GPS, or be it's own smartphone. I simply want one that can tell me, hey, you have a text or a phone call. And the analog face will be awesome, since I prefer analog faces to digital.
My point is, I have never heard of Martian as watch makers, and am simply wondering if anyone has any experience with them, and how well they're built, and how well they work. Does the watch tend to lag behind like most cheap watches? Does the acrylic/glass face scratch easy, or crack easy? Basic watch concerns.
Any feedback is appreciated The watch doesn't release until this Summer, so I know we don't have opinions on the notifier itself, I just don't know Martian's reputation.
i really like the design of the Notifier and that clock runs on a seperate battery
i guess the battery life on the 'smart' part of it will also be pretty good, as it only has a small oled display
i do wonder if the oled screen isn't TOO small

Martian isn't totally new, this will be their fourth watch, so i guess some people should have experience with the brand
(but they might not be on XDA, i don't expect a lot of development is being done for these watches)
according to smartwatchfans it will cost $129, so that's not too bad
you'll have to be patient though, it won't be release until summer this year
Wow... this really blows my mind.
Can i get payed to post adds too? Cause the whole way you wrote that says PR.
nope, just being informative, i wouldn't write i'm worried about the size of the display if i was really doing PR for them
i AM interested in this watch tho, so i posted what i knew, with a picture because the TS didn't post one
getting paid for posting ads, if you find out how, please let me know
edit:
@ryno9100: here's first look kinda review of the passport (an older watch by Martian) by cnet, the notifier does not have the microphone/speaker
they're not too positive because it's not "that smart", but i guess that's for you to decide
$125 is temptingly cheap but im afraid like everything in life, you get what you pay for...
Having purchased a bunch of these smart watches as they have evolved, my advise would spend the extra $60-$75 bucks and get a more feature rich device. Something that is more customizable or one that can run apps. with android or Tizen. $179-199 seems to be the sweet spot for smart watches. Even if you dont use all the features, it will guarantee a following of support, which after all, is the reason we are all on here to being with.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
Let's be honest. I don't need a watch that can double as my phone. I have my phone for that, and the arguement that "It's a pain in the butt to pull your phone out" is, to me, the epitome of lazy. I'd rather talk on my phone than on my watch.
@ronfurro
I simply want a watch that looks good, and let's me know, "Oh, hey. Don't forget. You have a text or a call!" I have a tendency to forget my phone on the other side of the room on silent. It would also allow me to check while at work. That's all I need. If I want music, make a call, or text someone, I'll just pull out my phone. Lol
Even as a tech guy, I'm not buying in to the smartwatch craze.
Edit:
@JarlSX Thanks for the information! I'd done a little research on their past devices, but coulnd't find much on build quality. I don't like their old ones cause they're all square, and honestly quite pricey. But for 120 bucks, if the build quality is decent, I am more than happy to get a Notifier. That's my main concern. Under someone like me (who wears out shoes in 6 months or less, and pretty much just over uses things) will it break within like a year and make me regret purchasing it.
i currently have the same ideas about smartwatches, i use my Smartwatch 2 for notifications exclusively right now, there are no apps right now i find useful
i don't even use a music remote, but that's because i have a Sony HBH-DS970 bluetooth headset, that has controls for volume/track/play/pause, don't even have to look at it to use it
i am looking forward to an update of the whatsapp extension i'm using though, the developer says he's working on showing pictures on the watch that are being sent through whatsapp, current extensions only show "[image]" or something similar
that is something the Notifier will never be able to do of course
i don't want to play games, surf the web or stuff like that, why would i if i have a smartphone with a 5 inch screen that's much more suitable for those tasks
i AM a gadget freak though and i will be following the development of Android Wear closely, even if i have no idea what functionality that will bring that i find useful
there's one thing i don't get about the Notifier, it was shown in january at CES, how come they need almost half a year to release it?
What they showed at CES, from my understanding, were working proto-types. They still had a small amount of development to do, and then production. And they'll usually run a batch in production, make sure the quality is good, then start running mass production.
Then we have to account time for them to travel to stores/warehouses. Junk takes time.
And then there's the fact that it's summer time, when people are more willing to spend money on things. Summer and Christmas.
Hi Everyone,
Just want to inform you guys that I received information about the release of a new smartwatch from the Chinese manufacterer No.1.
This model will be the G3.
The watch will have a full round display of 240x240 pixels, powered by a MediaTek MT2520 processor.
The watch has 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM memory. The memory can be expanded with a SD card up to 16 GB.
It also holds a micro SIM card slot for 2G connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0 (LP) is also available.
Ofcourse a microphone and speaker are integrated, so one can call directly from the watch without the need of a connected phone.
The watch will come in 3 colors : black, white/silver and black/gold

The clock face can also be adjusted or changed by the user and even a family picture can be used to customize the watch clock face :
And now for the best part......it will only cost 50 dollar ! (about 45 euro's) !

Correct, the K8/K9 and D5 and G3 are all copies of the Samsung Gear S2.
They all look very simular.
But this G3 has no Android and therefor cannot be customized easily, at least not like the Android based watches.
But than again, the prize is very low.
Watching the YT video, it looks not to be the fastest watch but it can do everything other watches can do.
So this one could get very popular.

Sorry, you are right...I have to take that back. I was too quick in giving my reply.
The K8 and D5 don't even look like the S2 and have full Android as OS (where the S2 has Tizen as OS I believe).
I was interested in the D5 for a long time, untill I read that it can only be used as a phone with use of a simcard and not over BT (correct me if I'm wrong please).
As I have two Android Wear watches (Gear 2 with custom AW rom + Moto 360 1st gen), I do like the Android part in a watch whether being it full Android or Android Wear.
And I've owned a Gear 1 too, which had a full version of Android installed (version 4.4.2 I believe).
I only wanted to state that this watch is cheap and can do a lot that more expensive watches can do.
Anyone else get one of these yet? Still haven't found the clock file or folder they advertise as being customizable to create your own watch faces.
Just got mine today.
Pretty cool device for the money.
No luck with the watch faces either.
Hopefully we can chip in for some development
Kinda aggravated did yours have the green circular watchface?
---------- Post added at 02:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:28 AM ----------

Follow this video to make watch face, easy to do this
Thank you do you by chance have the green circle with white hands that looks like the face from the samsung?
I placed file as both rar and extracted folder both titled clock and neither seems to work. Still no custom working face...

Also what software do you use to edit
I've received my 3rd watch now from No.1 and this one is crap too! 2 times the display was a mess and now the simcard slot is broken.
Not a single No.1 product for me ever again!
Remember guys, the watches are cheap because the hardware sucks big time !
Spend a few more bucks on a real decent product and you will be a lot happier.
Haier has just released a new smartwatch called G6, it has an heart rate monitor, a touch screen and other healthy stuff. I really love how it looks, mostly because it reminds me of something..

So, what do you guys think? Did you find any similarities with another smartwatch?

Tons. Case design aside, Gearbest alone lists 46 round MTK2502 smartwatches. Of those, 36 have HR sensors. If you limit it to that case design, there's still a few listed. Basically, the H6 is a dime a dozen.
It's similar with a lot of smartwatches lately But that's a good thing, because it looks good. How about the price?

I'm not sure quite what you mean. I was talking about the similarities with Moto 360, at least in the looks, software won't be as good, of course.

You did not specify that before, and I look at smartwatches as a whole. Yes it looks like an OG 360, which is a bad thing from a watch design aspect.

Ehm, alright. I thought it was obvious.
Anyway it's a personal choice, if it works fine and looks nice (even remotely), it's really good for the price, imho!

As a watch and smartwatch designer, I don't like it. The case is way to thick compared to the real watch Moto copied, which makes it wear/feel much larger than it is. Each to their own.

Yeah, it looks like Moto smart watch, but cheaper price and better function. You can have a try to make compare.

Yeah, I guess you're right, maybe I shouldn't like it because it's a "copy" but it's still a good looking design compared to other "cheap" Chinese smartwatches. I've no clue how big it really is from looking at the photos. :/
If you go by the specs;
OG Moto 360- 46 x 46 x 11.5 mm
Haier G6- 42.5 x 42.5 x 13.5 mm
Larger diameter offsets thickness, so it will look "tall" making it seem even thicker than it is.

Oh, yeah. That makes sense.
Hopefully somebody will review it so we'll know how it looks on a wrist.
As other people already mentioned, it's just another clone of the DM360, A29 and so on.
Surprisingly enough, new models continue to carry this annoying detail of cut display at the bottom part..

I wouldn't call it a clone of those others Chinese smartwatches but yeah.. You get what you pay for..
This watch is running with full Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Its supports Bluetooth 4.0 with 8 GB Storage and water resistant facility. Haier G6 Smartwatch is in round screen with 42mm, 316L stainless steel encased.

I guess u mean that it's compatible with phones running Android 6.0.
As you write it it could be confusing.

Don't spread misinformation, please. It doesn't run Android 6.0 and storage is 128MB.
