Can't uninstall something.. Help ?

I installed some lame multilanguage support the other day and now when I remove it via the app manager it says " App wasn't completely removed, do you want to delete the icon " and even if I click yes it's still there.
What's the solution ?

give re-installing it again a shot then try to delete it,

Help needed... Rooted arc, removed bloated apps but cannot view contact details now..

Dear all,
i had rooted using gingerbreak and remove recommended bloated apps under another thread. But right now, i am facing a minor issues.
If i go to my contacts, i am not able to able to 'Touch a contact to view its detail'.
Can anyone advise what should i do?

I had the same problem, Infinite view 0.9.3 is needed for that function..

ok, i restore infiniteview using titanium backup but still the services is not running.
what should i do next?

who have the apk for infiniteview and advise me which folder to restore it to?

try to push this in /system/app

thank guys... i move the file to sd card, used application installer and install the apk. everything work well now..

Just wanna thank too as I just accidentally deleted it after flashing my phone.

Removing Stock Gallery ? How

Does anyone know how to remove stock "Album" "Gallery" from xperia x8 ?
I'm using titanium backup but couldn't find what to remove..

I already have root explorer but can't find album in it..

no man, still can't find the album application

if I'm not wrong there is two camera app. use TB to back up n uninstall one of it.

there's only 1 camera application and also an application with the name 1.0 ???
any clues ?

Use Root Explorer to removing apps.
To remove SE Gallery need to remove SemcCamera.apk (Camera + Album = one application).

thanks, deleted that and now, album and camera both gone,
so i'm using camera 360 now...

ok i read mostly , or should be majority of SGS 2 with G version having camera failure problem..
i am one of the G version user having camera failure problem and its kinda frustrated
how ever i solve my problem after google works and asking around..
the tricks to overcome camera failure issue is by replacing your phone camera.apk
the first thing you need to do is root (which give you power to modify your phone system)
here is the link for rooting your G version.

ok, after root then what? you can solve it by follow this few simple step.
1.download this root browser via android market in your phone

3.Open your root browser and browse to /system/app, and move your 'Camera.apk' and 'Camera.odex' (for use as a backup) or you just delete it
(cz its rubbish that cause camera fail, it cant do the job so throw it to thrash bin
Don't worry, if you really deleted and want back here is the stock rubbish camera.apk
Stock Camera SGS2
4.Copy the camera.apk that you downloaded and place it in /system/app
5.Close your Root Browser and run the camera.
6.Tadaaa you are done
Try reboot if it don't works..

If the camera fails to run or shortcut is missing. Go back to /system/app with your root browser and try to install it. DO NOT DO SO IF YOU SUCCESS run the camera

well didnt work for me..still getting camera failed error...do i need the camera.odex file too?

the old 1 some of those FC after used about a month..
now this 1 i jz uploaded haven fail me over 3 weeks.. try it out and give feed back

Not working on ICS
I get a "Camera has stopped working" error when I try run it. I am running an ICS rom so that might be the reason. I also don't have a camera.odex file in my system apps.

what rom you using?

mine was sorted right after rooting superatmos 2.1, no more camera problems

Guys, I think I have got to the root of the problem. I too was getting the "Camera Failed" problem on my SGS2 I9100G for quite some time. I tried everything to no avail. Then I uninstalled all applications which were sharing the resources with camera, those were the Flashlight apps. I rebooted the phone & since then I have not been getting the problem. I hope this solution should work for most of us. Anyhow guys please try this & let us know ur experiences.

Link to stock camera is dead. Could someone re-upload it?

Maybe, but you'll need to get camera app for I91000, not G.
Also, did you try to install camera firmware update? To get it search for "camera firmware" in Samsung Apps on your phone.

I was not able to find this update on camera firmware. Has anyone updated their camera with this before? The camera app on my I9100G is version 1.0

Now the Camera is crushes and not responding :/

i have a lenovo A3000-H and i install this rom A3000_A422_003_014_130909_WW_CALL_FUSE
and it works fine, but when i open my cam show me an error say, (unfortunately gallery stopped)
and i trying to clear cach, reset phone and install another camera apps all this is not working
when i look @ the all app manager camera app is missing :crying:
can any one help me

Reflashing firmware~ Or Extract the firmware ，find the camera app and ADB pull to /system/app
